The location of the codepad and the wireless motion sensors affects the overall
performance of your system. You will need to select the best location for the two
sensors and the codepad. This system is intended for indoor use only.
Each sensor should be placed in the corner of the room that you wish to have
covered. Alternative locations can include above stairwells or other high traffic areas
that an intruder will most likely walk through. The codepad should be placed centrally
between the two sensors, and needs to be plugged into a power point.
Note: You should avoid placing the sensors and codepad close to anything that may
interfere with the wireless connection. This includes other metal or wireless devices,
air conditioners, computers and modems, circuit breaker boxes, heater ducts, and
similar equipment.

The supplied motion sensors are designed for indoor use only. The sensor should be
installed on a wall in a corner location mounted at a height between 2.1 to 3.1 metres.
The preferred mounting height is 2.1 metres. The following steps outline the process
for correct installation.
1. Clean the area you wish to mount the sensors, preferably with alcohol wipes.
2. Open up each sensor and connect the batteries. This is done by attaching the
white battery connector to the plug on the main board. See below.
3. Replace cover securely.

sensor – (see below), that contacts the wall.
