Hello
Lightcloud Blue is a Bluetooth mesh wireless lighting control
system that allows you to control RAB’s various compatible
devices. With RAB’s patent-pending Rapid Provisioning
technology, devices can be quickly and easily commissioned
for residential and large commercial applications using the
Lightcloud Blue mobile app. Each device in a system can
communicate with any other device, eliminating the need for
a Gateway or Hub and maximizing the control system’s reach.

specically designed for RAB Lightcloud Blue Lamps.

140°F (-30°C to 60°C).
• Only use the control provided with or specied by these
instructions to control this lamp. This lamp will not operate
properly when connected to a standard (incandescent) dimmer
or dimming control.

Install the Lightcloud Blue Lamp
• Remove old ballast or disconnect from existing
lampholder. Remove and dispose of ballast in correct
manner. Shown as Figure 1. (North America 120-277VAC)

• Select power and CCT of new LED replacement lamp
before installation.
• Install new LED replacement lamp. Shown as Figure 3.
Please make sure the old tting is correctly earth. Attach
retrot label to luminaire. (North America 120-277VAC)
• Securely fasten the earth y lead cable to the main body
structure. If the cable are damaged in any way please
replace. (Do not use existing burnt out cables)
The cable if need replacement must be 1.0mm in size
and insulated from heat.

Connect device to power.
Remove plastic plug from lamp, then insert
Lightcloud Blue Plug-In Controller into interface.
For rst time use, the lamp will be ready to pair to
the Lightcloud Blue app. Power on the lamp to enter
pairing mode. While pairing, the lamp will ash on/o
5x and then dim and ash on/o 3x to indicate that it
has been paired as an Ungrouped Device in the
Lightcloud Blue app.

Conrm your device is powered on.

Download the Lightcloud Blue app from the Apple®
App Store or Google® Play store.
Tap the "add device" icon in the app to
start connecting devices.
Follow the remaining steps in the app. Create areas,
groups, and scenes to organize and control your devices.
You're all set!
Launch the App and create an account.

To restore your Lightcloud Blue Field-Adjustable HID
Replacement to factory settings, use the following methods.
Setting Device to Pairing Mode
Method 1:
Delete from App
Open the app and access the device settings for the paired
device. Be sure that the lamp is online and select "Delete".
Lightcloud
Method 2: Manual
Power the lamp o and on 5 times consecutively.
Do not allow less than 1 second and more than
10s elapse before switching o and keep o for
at least 3s before switching on. The lamp will
ash 3 times, then reset to 100% brightness at
default CCT.
Method 3: Rapid Reset Tool
The rapid reset process must be done by professional
electricians qualied by RAB. Reach out to your
RAB sales manager to request a Rapid Reset Tool.
The tool simply needs to be placed directly on
the Lightcloud Blue Plug-In Controller for
2 seconds. The lamp will ash 3 times, then
reset to 100% brightness at default CCT.

All conguration of Lightcloud Blue products may be performed
using the Lightcloud Blue app.
