• UPON RECEIPT, IMMEDIATELY confirm that ALL pieces are included with the PPS. Consult this
guide for a list of all pieces.
• CHECKTHATtherampshavenotbecomeDAMAGEDduringloadingorshipping.

• NOALTERATIONshallbemadetotheseramps.TheserampsCANNOTbecutdown,shaved,
or modified in ANY WAY.
• DONOTexceedratedcapacityof6,000lbsperPPSrampset
• USE ONLY on a level, relatively even surface. Remove all small hard objects such as pebbles or stone, as they can act like small ball bearings
and they ARE NOT an optimal surface for the PPS to used on. Dirt and sand are acceptable.
• PLACERAMPSSTRAIGHTinlinewiththefrontandreartires.Useatapemeasuretoensuretheyarespacedequidistantfromeachotherthe
entirelength.AsyoudriveuptherampsyouMUSTstayincenterofthem,WHEELSPOINTEDSTRAIGHTAHEAD!
• Driveuptherampswithbothtirescenteredontheramps.DONOTdriveuptherampswithanypartofthetireoverlappingtheedge
• USEALLPIECESdescribedinthemanual.DONOTattempttousetheserampsinanyotherwaythanwhatisdescribedinthismanual.
• MAKESUREtoproperlyinterlocktherampswhenusingthem.
• DONOTuseothermaterialssuchaswoodormetalinconjunctionwiththeramps.Thisincludesusingjacksorotherliftingdevicesonthe
surface of the ramp. ONLY use such tools or materials on applicable surfaces, as described in this guide. Only attachments and/or adapters
supplied by the manufacturer shall be used.
• DONOTdisconnectbrakes,engines,transmissioncomponents,drivetrain,driveshaft,universal
joints, or wheels without properly bracing and stabilizing the vehicle.
• NEVERACCELERATEORAPPLYBRAKESSUDDENLY.Proceedslowlyandcautiously.Once
the vehicle reaches the top of the ramps, apply brakes only to prevent traveling too far.
• Whentirestouchfrontstopareaoframps,PLACEVEHICLEINPARK(orinreversegear
for manual transmissions).
• SETEMERGENCYBRAKES.Alwaysuseincludedwheelchocks!
• BEFOREstartingworkonyourvehicle,BESUREbothtiresareproperlypositionedon
the ramp’s support platform.
• Usecautioninpositioningyourbodyclearofdanger.Shakevehiclesidewaysand
endways to be sure vehicle and ramps are stable.
• WORKINGONORUNDERAVEHICLECANBEDANGEROUS!Useextremecautionwhen
using the PPS.
• Ifanydoubtsexistsastothesafeuseofthisproduct,removefromserviceuntilresolved.
• Thiswarningshallbeconveyedintheoperator’snativelanguagebeforeuseofthisproductisauthorized.Makecertainthattheoperator
thoroughly understands the inherent dangers associated with the use and misuse of these ramps.
• Anylackofadherencetotheabovestatedwarningscanresultinvoidanceofwarranty,vehiculardamage,orseriouspersonalinjury!
• Therampsshallbemaintainedinaccordancewiththesewarnings.Itisrecommendedthattheserampsbeinspectedbeforeandaftereach
use for damage.

The Portable Pit Stop comes in two different models; the Racer model, and the Standard model.
TheRacermodelcontainsa2.5”cutoutforusingastandard15x15x2.5”scalein.Italsofeatures
a spacer for filling the gap created when a scale is not in use. The Standard model does not have
these features. This guide is applicable
to both models; if you have the Standard
model, skip the steps regarding the scale
cutouts and spacers.

The Portable Pit Stop ramp system is a lightweight, convenient way to get your vehicle up in the air.
It can be used on most surfaces, including sand, dirt, asphalt, concrete etc.

Preparation and Assembly
First,examineallthepartsthatcameshippedwiththePPS.Refertothebelowdiagram
to make sure you have all the pieces.

Take a few minutes to clear your workspace of small debris or particles,
such as pebbles or stones. If you are on a hard surface such as asphalt
or cement, these can act like small ball bearings and ARE NOT an opti-
mal surface for the PPS to be assembled on, plus they aren’t comfortable
to work on. Dirt, sand, or grass is acceptable; just make sure it is level.
MakesureyouhaveadequateroomforassemblingthePPS.You
willneedatleast19’ofspacetodriveonandbackoffthePPSwhen
it is fully assembled. If you plan on driving up the PPS and driving down
theoppositeside,youwilltomakesureyouhaveadequatespaceforboth
the vehicle and the PPS.
Measurethedistancebetweenthefrontandreartires(wheelbase),andthedistancebetween
theleftandrighttires(width)ofyourvehicle.
Now assemble the opposite side of the PPS. Use your vehicles width measurement to place the
PPS symmetrically.

Place#2sothatyourfronttirewillbecentered.Ifyour
vehiclehasawheelbaselengthlongerthan90”,youwill
noticeagapwillbecreated.Fillthisgapinwiththe#7
and#8spacers,likeshown.Useasmanyspacersas
requiredforyourwheelbaselength;it’soktohaveupto
0.5”ofspacebetweeneachspacer.
Now your PPS is fully assembled. Make sure that your car will not
scrapeasitgoesupthe#1Rampsection.Ifyourvehiclewon’t
cleartheangle,weofferanoptionalextension.Pleasecontactus
ifyouneedthisextension.
AspotterisHIGHLYRECOMMENDEDfordrivingupthePPS
safely. Drive up the PPS at a slow, consistent speed.
DO NOT accelerate or brake violently.
Note:ThewheelstopwillNOTstopthecarifyouaregoingfast!
Driveslowly!
USEINCLUDEDWHEELCHOCKS(#10)toproperlysecurevehicle.Onceyourvehicleis
on the PPS, apply your emergency brake and leave the car in gear. Now you can remove all
thepiecesexceptfor#2and#9,likeshown.Remember,the#1Rampscanbeusedinter-
changeably with the front and back of the PPS.
