ANY AREA WITHIN A RACK TO EXPEL THE HOT AIR

CONNECTIONS
The CRC-PSU 2000mA supply is
also available which will power up
to 4 CoolRaC units
Using the CRC-LINK 2.1 to 2.1
mm DC link cables as shown below

It is advisable to fit the CoolRaC into a space
near the top of the racked system, as hot air
rises and this will make the most effective use
of this unit
They are not designed to be used upside down
but can be used vertically if required (i.e.:
fitted into our VDWR02 Drop –Down Wall Rack)
The blower manufacturers say this will shorten
the life of the fan motors and so cannot
guarantee the long term service-ability of the
components.

STANDARD POWER SUPPLY
OR REVERSE THE DC
POLARITY CONNECTION
For normal
operation connect
the 500mA PSU
provided into the
Input socket as
shown here
The CRC-TEMP
thermal sensor
accessory unit should
be plugged into this
socket
It is set to operate at
40º and will reset at
30º for information
