It is advisable to fit the CoolRaC into a space
near the top of the racked system, as hot air
rises and this will make the most effective use
of this unit
They are not designed to be used upside down
but can be used vertically if required (i.e.:
fitted into our VDWR02 Drop –Down Wall Rack)
The blower manufacturers say this will shorten
the life of the fan motors and so cannot
guarantee the long term service-ability of the
components.
