OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before operating the appliance, please read these instructions thoroughly to avoid damage and hazardous
situations. Any use of this product other than that stipulated in this instruction manual may cause fire,
electric shock or injury, and voids all warranties.
Warranty does not apply to any defect, deterioration, loss, injury or damage caused by, or as a result of, the misuse
or abuse of this heater. The rights dictated by State law are not prejudiced. None of the terms of this warranty are to
be taken as excluding any conditions or warranties implied by State law, which cannot be excluded or modified.
Before any operation remove the packaging and check product integrity. In case of defects or damages do not try to
repair it yourself but contact your dealer.
Do not let children play with the packaging and protect the environment by disposing of the packaging in accordance
with the national regulations for waste processing.
1. For your safety
This appliance is intended for normal household use and not for
use in commercial/industrial environment, in vehicles or on board
ships or aircrafts.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only
switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or
installed in its intended normal operating position and they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug
in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user
maintenance.
Never immerse the product or parts thereof in water or other
liquids.
If the cable gets damaged, do not use the product any more.
Take it to an authorised service centre of expert repair shop to
have it replaced, thereby avoiding electric shock.
In general, all repair works to this product must be done by
authorised and/or expert personnel.

When the product is not in use, or when the air filter or water
tank need to be cleaned, the product must be switched off and
the electric plug disconnected.
The product must only be used with the mains voltage indicated:
220-240V 50Hz.
Do not put any object or cover on the product while it is working,
and always leave the air vents clear.
When you need to move the product, only move it using its
castors. Never lift it off the ground or tip it without having emptied
the tank completely.
While working, the product must be kept at least 50 cm from
walls or objects in the vicinity.

SWITCHING ON
Having plugged the plug into a socket, push the POWER button. You will hear a "bip", the display lights
up and the OPERATION LED switches on.
To switch off the product, simply push the POWER button again.
SETTING THE VENTILATION SPEED
Push the SPEED button to set the ventilation / dehumidifying speed at one of the two levels LOW or HI.
(High) The corresponding LED switches on.
SETTING THE DESIRED HUMIDITY
You can set the relative humidity of the air that you want in your room.
From a minimum of CO = continuous operation (which corresponds to 30%) up to a maximum of 90% with
steps of 10%. There is an AU position, for operating in AUTOMATIC mode (see following paragraph). To
adjust the humidity, press the HUMIDITY SETTING button a number of times. The display flashes and
after a few seconds shows the ambient air humidity. To view the humidity setting simply push the
HUMIDITY SETTING button once. Pushing it subsequently will vary the humidity setting.

When the product is in function the display shows the relative humidity of the air. When the relative
humidity of the air is lower or equal to the minimum possible setting, i.e. lower than 30%, the display
shows the message LO.
If the humidity in the air drops below the level set (with a tolerance of 3%), the dehumidification
compressor stops automatically, and it will start up again once the humidity exceeds the threshold set
(with a tolerance of 3%). When the compressor is running, the OPERATION LED is on, otherwise it
flashes.
When the product is switched on or when setting the desired humidity level the humidity sensor takes
some minutes to check the correct ambient humidity level. During this time the compressor doesn’t work
and the OPERATION led blinks.
AUTOMATIC DEHUMIDIFICATION [AU]
In this mode, the humidity is regulated automatically by the product, in relation to the ambient temperature.
If the temperature is below 5°C the compressor stops.
If the temperature is between 5°C and 20°C, the humidity level set will be 60%.
If the ambient temperature is between 20°C and 25°C, the humidity level set will be 55%.
If the ambient temperature exceeds 25°C, the humidity will be set at 50%.
TIMED USE
It is possible to make the product work for a time defined beforehand, after which the product will switch off
automatically. With the product switched on, press the TIMER button and set an operating time of 1 to 24
hours. The TIMER LED switches on.
Having set the operating time, the display shows the humidity setting again. The product will run for the
time set, and will switch off when this time expires.
When the TIMER button is pushed when the product is working in timed mode, the remaining operating
time is displayed, with an approximation of the time.
If the product is switched off, the timer is zeroed automatically.
The timer can also be set when the product is switched off. In this case, deferred operation is activated.
This means that the product will begin working after the number of hours you have set, to give you the
humidity set.
TANK FULL WARNING
When the water tank is full, the TANK FULL indicator switches on. The compressor stops and
dehumidifying is suspended. If this happens:
-Switch off the product.
-Disconnect the plug.
-Remove the tank, empty it, and put it back in position.
-Start the product again, setting the speed and humidity required again.
WARNING. Because the tank only has a 1,6 litre capacity, if the relative humidity is high, it will fill up in a
few hours. If this is the case, check the TANK FULL indicator often, or set up a system for draining the
water to outside.
DEFROSTING
The compressor has an automatic defrosting system, which switches on when the ambient temperature is
low. If this happens, the DEFROST LED switches on, the compressor stops, and only ventilation
continues working. Once the process has been completed, the compressor will start up again
automatically, and the LED will switch off.
! IMPORTANT WARNINGS
The dehumidifier is designed to lower the relative humidity level of the air. You must therefore see to
refrain from setting a humidity level higher than the ambient level.
When you switch off the product, leave it switched off for at least 3 minutes before switching it on again.
Frequent, quick switching on and off of the product, may damage the compressor.
The product is designed to work at temperatures of not lower than 5°C and not higher than 32°C. For other
temperatures do NOT use this product.
If the dehumidifier does not start or switches off unexpectedly, first check that the plug is inserted in the
socket correctly. If so, leave the product for 10 minutes and then start it again. If the product does not
switch on, contact our assistance service or your dealer.
When the compressor is running, it is normal for it to produce heat, causing the temperature near the
product to rise slightly.
In case an error message E1 or E2 appears on the display, we beg you to: stop function of the product,
leave it rest for at least 30 minutes. Put it in function again. If the message appears again, please contact
our assistance service or your dealer.

5. User maintenance
EMPTYING THE TANK
The process of dehumidifying the air produces water, which is collected in the tank. The water can be
allowed to drain directly to outside the product.
COLLECTING WATER IN THE TANK
If the tank gets full of water, the compressor will stop and the
TANK FULL LED will switch on. If this occurs:
-Switch the product off and disconnect the plug;
-Remove the water tank as shown in the picture;
-Empty the water;
-Put the tank back in position;
-Start the product again, setting the humidity required again.
DARINING THE WATER TO OUTSIDE
Before starting the product, remove the tank and connect a
PVC hose to the humidity drain hole. Put the tank back in
position.
PLEASE NOTE! The end of the drain hose must be lower than
the drainage hole.
REMOVING AND CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
We recommend doing this task at least once every 3 weeks.
Remove the water tank after switching off the product and
disconnecting the plug.
Extract the filter by pulling it downwards, after having gripped it
by the handle.
Wash the filter with luke warm water only, and dry it completely
with a cloth, then leave it in the air to eliminate any remaining
wetness.
Put the filter and the water tank back in position.
HOW TO MAKE THE BEST USE OF AND CARE FOR THE PRODUCT
This product must always work in a horizontal position, on a solid, flat surface.
Do not insert any object in the air intake or air outlet vents.
When you do not intend to use the product for a long period of time, disconnect the plug from the socket,
wind up the cable and put the product in a protected, dry place, at a temperature that is never too cold or
too hot.

Only use water to clean the filter. Never use alcohol, chemical detergents, or petrol.

Si prega di leggere attentamente queste istruzioni, prima di utilizzare il prodotto, in modo da evitare
danneggiamenti o comunque il verificarsi di situazioni di pericolo. Qualsiasi utilizzo del prodotto diverso da
quanto indicato nel presente manuale può causare incendi, pericoli elettrici o ferite e rende nulla qualsiasi
garanzia.
La garanzia non si applica ad alcun difetto, deterioramento, perdita, ferimento o danneggiamento riconducibili ad un
uso non corretto del prodotto. Rimangono garantiti tutti i diritti di legge in materia. Nessuna condizione di garanzia

Prima di ogni operazione, rimuovere con cura l’imballo e controllare la perfetta integrità del prodotto. Nel caso si
evidenziassero dei difetti o danni, non installare né cercare di riparare l’apparecchiatura, ma rivolgersi al rivenditore.
Non lasciare l’imballo alla portata dei bambini e smaltirne le parti in conformità con le disposizioni vigenti.
1. Per la Vostra sicurezza
Questo prodotto è per uso domestico e non è adatto per l'utilizzo
in ambienti commerciali/industriali o su veicoli, imbarcazioni o
aeromobili.
L’apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini di età non
inferiore a 8 anni e da persone con ridotte capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali, o prive di esperienza o della necessaria
conoscenza, purché sotto sorveglianza oppure dopo che le
stesse abbiano ricevuto istruzioni relative all’uso sicuro
dell’apparecchio e alla comprensione dei pericoli ad esso
inerenti. I bambini non devono giocare con l’apparecchio. La
pulizia e la manutenzione destinata ad essere effettuata
dall’utilizzatore non deve essere effettuata da bambini senza
sorveglianza.
I bambini di età inferiore a 3 anni non devono avvicinarsi al
prodotto se non costantemente supervisionati.
I bambini di età compresa fra 3 e 8 anni possono solamente
accendere e spegnere l’apparecchio purché esso sia stato
installato e posizionato secondo le normali condizioni d’uso e loro
siano supervisionati o adeguatamente istruiti riguardo al corretto
e sicuro utilizzo del prodotto e ne abbiano compresa la
pericolosità. I bambini di età compresa fra 3 e 8 anni non
possono collegare il prodotto, regolarlo, pulirlo o effettuare
manutenzione.
Non immergere mai il prodotto o parti di esso in acqua o altri
liquidi.
Qualora il cavo fosse danneggiato non utilizzate più il prodotto ,
portandolo ad un centro assistenza autorizzato o ad un

riparatore esperto per farlo sostituire, evitando così rischi di
scosse elettriche.
In generale, ogni intervento di riparazione sul prodotto deve
essere eseguito da personale autorizzato e/o esparto.
Quando il prodotto non é in uso o quando dovete eseguire la
pulizia del filtro dell’aria o del serbatoio dell’acqua, il prodotto
deve essere spento e la spina staccato.
Il prodotto deve essere utilizzato solo al voltaggio di rete
indicato: 220-240V 50 Hz.
Non mettere nessun oggetto o copertura sul prodotto durante il
suo funzionamento lasciando sempre libere la griglia di
aspirazione e di espulsione dell’aria.
Quando dovete spostare il prodotto , muovetelo solo utilizzando
le sue rotelle e non sollevatelo mai da terra o inclinatelo se non
dopo avere completamente svuotato il serbatoio.
Il prodotto durante il suo funzionamento deve essere tenuto ad
almeno 50 cm. dai muri o da oggetti che vi si trovano nelle
vicinanze.

ACCENSIONE
Dopo avere inserito la spina in una presa premete il bottone POWER . Sentirete un bip , il display si
illumina ed il led OPERATION si accende .
Per spegnere il prodotto basta premere di nuovo il tasto POWER.
REGOLAZIONE DELLA VELOCITA’ DI VENTILAZIONE
Premendo il tasto SPEED potete regolare la velocità di ventilazione / deumidificazione a due livelli LOW (
bassa) HI ( alta). Il corrispondente led si illumina.
REGOLAZIONE DELL’UMIDITA’ DESIDERATA
Potete regolare l’umidità relativa dell’aria che desiderate nel Vostro ambiente tra un minimo indicato come
CO = uso continuo (corrispondente a 30%) ed un massimo di 90% a passi del 10%. Esiste poi una
posizione AU che significa funzionamento AUTOMATICO (par. 7).
Per regolare l’umidità premete più volte il tasto HUMIDITY SETTING. Il display lampeggia e dopo qualche
secondo mostra l’umidità dell’aria dell’ambiente. Per visualizzare l’umidità impostata basta premere una
volta sul tasto HUMIDITY SETTING una volta. Successive pressioni faranno variare il livello di umidità che
avete impostato.

Durante il funzionamento il display mostra sempre l’umidità relativa dell’aria. Se però l’umidità dell’aria è
uguale o inferiore al livello minimo impostabile, e cioè inferiore al 30%, apparirà sul display la scritta LO.
Se l’umidità relativa dell’aria scende al di sotto di quella che avete impostato (con una tolleranza del 3%) il
compressore di deumidificazione si fermerà automaticamente e si rimetterà in funzione quando l’umidità
sarà superiore alla soglia impostata (con una tolleranza del 3%). Quando il compressore è in funzione il
led OPERATION è acceso, diversamente lampeggia.
All’accensione o quando si imposta un nuovo livello di umidità ci vogliono alcuni minuti prima che il
sensore di rilevi il corretto livello di umidità dell’aria . Durante questo tempo il compressore non funziona
ed il led OPERATION lampeggia.
DEUMIDIFICAZIONE AUTOMATICA [AU]
In questa modalità la regolazione dell’umidità viene gestita automaticamente dal prodotto in funzione
della temperatura dell’ambiente.
Se la temperatura é al di sotto dei 5°C il compressore smette di funzionare.
Se la temperatura é compresa tra I 5°C e I 20°C il livello di umidità impostato sarà del 60%.
Se la temperatura ambiente é tra I 20 ed I 25°C il livello di umidità impostato sarà del 55%.
Se la temperatura ambiente sarà superiore ai 25°C l’umidità verrà impostata a 50%.
USO TEMPORIZZATO
E’ possibile fare funzionare il prodotto per un tempo pre-definito, dopo di che il prodotto si spegnerà
automaticamente. Con il prodotto acceso , premendo il tasto TIMER è possibile definire un tempo di
funzionamento da 1 a 24 ore. Il led TIMER si accende.
Dopo avere impostato il tempo di funzionamento il display torna a mostrare l’umidità che avete impostato.
Il prodotto funzionerà per il tempo che avete impostato e alla fine si spegnerà
Premendo sul tasto TIMER quando il prodotto è in funzionamento temporizzato viene mostrato il tempo di
funzionamento residuo con approssimazione all’ora.
Se si spegne il prodotto il funzionamento del timer viene automaticamente azzerato.
Il timer può anche impostato quando il prodotto è spento. In questo caso si attiva un funzionamento
differito. Il prodotto cioè si metterà in funzione dopo il numero di ore che avete impostato per darvi
l’umidità che avete impostato.
AVVISO SERBATOIO PIENO
Quando il serbatoio dell’acqua é pieno l’indicatore TANK FULL si accende. Il compressore si ferma e la
deumidificazione viene sospesa. Se questo accade
-spegnete il prodotto;
-staccate la spina;
-asportate il serbatoio, svuotatelo e rimettetelo al suo posto;
-ri avviate il prodotto impostando di nuovo velocità ed umidità desiderate.
ATTENZIONE. Poiché la capacità del serbatoio è di 1,6 litri, nei casi in cui l’umidità relativa sarà alta il
serbatoio si riempirà in poche ore. In questo caso dovete controllare spesso l’indicatore TANK FULL
oppure adottare un sistema di scolo dell’acqua verso l’esterno.
SCONGELAMENTO
Il compressore é dotato di un sistema scongelamento automatico che si attiva in condizioni di temperature
ambiente basse. In questo caso il led DEFROST si accende , il compressore si ferma e rimane attiva la
sola ventilazione. Al termine del processo il compressore si rimetterà automaticamente in funzione e il led
si spegnerà
! AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI
Il deumidificatore è progettato per abbassare il livello di umidità relativa dell’aria. Dovete dunque avere
l’accortezza di non impostare un livello di umidità più alto di quello dell’ambiente
Quando spegnete il prodotto lasciate poi che rimanga spento per almeno 3 minuti prima di riaccenderlo.
Frequenti e veloci spegnimenti ed accensioni possono danneggiare il compressore.
Il prodotto é progettato per lavorare a temperature che non siano più basse di 5°C e non più alte di 32°C.
A temperature diverse il prodotto NON deve essere usato
Nel caso il deumidificatore non parta o si spenga in modo imprevisto, verificate innanzitutto che la spina
sia correttamente inserita nella presa. Se così lasciate riposare il prodotto per 10 minuti e rimettetelo in
funzione. Qualora il prodotto non si accenda contattate l’assistenza o il vostro distributore
Quando il compressore é in funzione é normale che produca calore e che la temperature in prossimità del
prodotto salga leggermente.
Nel caso appaiano sul display i codici di errore E1 o E2 vi preghiamo di: arrestare il funzionamento del
prodotto, attendere 30 minuti e poi accenderlo nuovamente. Se il messaggio di errore compare ancora vi
preghiamo di contattare il nostro servizio di assistenza o il vostro rivenditore.

5. Manutenzione
SVUOTAMENTO DEL SERBATOIO
Il processo di deumidificazione dell’aria produce acqua che si raccoglie nel serbatoio. L’acqua può anche
essere anche fatta scolare direttamente all’esterno del prodotto.
RACCOLTA DELL’ACQUA NEL SERBATOIO
Nel caso in cui il serbatoio sia pieno d’acqua il compressore si
fermerà ed il led TANK FULL si illumina. Se ciò accade
-Spegnete il prodotto e scollegate la spina;
-Rimuovete il serbatoio dell’acqua come mostrato nella
figura a lato;
-Svuotate l’acqua;
-Rimettete il serbatoio in posizione;
-Ri accendete il prodotto impostando di nuovo l’umidità
desiderata.
SCOLO DELL’ACQUA ALL’ESTERNO
Prima di mettere in funzione il prodotto asportate il serbatoio e
collegate un tubicino flessibile in PVC al foro di drenaggio
dell’umidità. Rimettete il serbatoio in posizione
IMPORTANTE ! La fine del tubo di drenaggio si deve trovare
più in basso del foro di drenaggio
ASPORTAZIONE E PULIZIA DEL FILTRO DELL’ARIA
Consigliamo di eseguire questa operazione almeno una volta
ogni 3 settimane;
Rimuovete il serbatoio dell’acqua dopo avere spento il prodotto
e scollegato la spina;
Estraete il filtro, tirandolo verso il basso dopo averlo afferrato
per la maniglia;
Lavate il filtro solo con acqua tiepida ed asciugatelo
perfettamente con un panno , lasciandolo poi all’aria per
eliminare l’umidità residua;
Rimettete in posizione il filtro ed il serbatoio dell’acqua.
COME UTILIZZARE E PRENDERSI CURA AL MEGLIO IL PRODOTTO
Il prodotto deve funzionare sempre in posizione orizzontale e su una superficie solida e piatta.
Non inserite alcun oggetto all’interno della griglia di aspirazione e di evacuazione dell’aria
Quando non intendete utilizzare il prodotto per un tempo prolungato scollegate la presa , avvolgete il cavo
e riponete il prodotto in un luogo protetto ed asciutto ad una temperatura mai troppo fredda e mai troppo
calda

Per la pulizia del filtro utilizzate solo acqua. Non usate mai alcool , detergenti chimici o benzina

urbani, ma vanno raccolti e smaltiti separatamente. Lo smaltimento degli apparecchi usati va eseguito a regola
