It’s time to hit the lake and
reel ‘em in!
Remember, if you’re going Bass
Fishin’, you don’t have to be REALLY
BIG to catch a REALLY BIG fish!
Choose your favorite ure, cast your
ine, and wait for those whoppers to
take the bait! If you watch out for the
occasiona o d boot or spare tire, you’
be ree ing in a forty-pounder in no time!
Button Functions
NEW GAME - Press and ho d this
button to start a new game.
ON•CAST•ENTER – Press this button
to turn on the game, cast, or enter a
se ection.
LURE – Press this button to choose
from five different fishing ures.
BEST CATCH – Press this button to
show your biggest catch ever.
NOTE: If you have pressed the RESET
button during your game, your "best
catch" record wi be any fish caught
since resetting the game. You wi have
no record of fish caught prior to
pressing RESET.
SOUND – Press this button turns the
sound “on” or “off”.
SK LL – Press this button to set the
game at eve 1 or 2.
HANDLE – Turn the hand e to ree in
your fish.
RESET – Using a pointed object, press
this button to reset the game. Just
remember, this wi start a new game
and de ete a previous y caught fish
and your “best catch”.
Now let’s go fishin’!
CHOOSE A LEVEL!
Press the NEW GAME button to start a
new game. Next press the SKILL
button to choose between ski eve s 1
and 2. NOTE: If you do not choose a
eve , you wi automatica y p ay on
eve 1. Once you’ve chosen your eve ,
press the ON•CAST•ENTER button
again.
Special Hint: Your Junior Bass
Fishin’ game wi “go to s eep” when
there is no activity for about one (1)
minute. If you have not finished your
game before “s eep mode”, you wi
automatica y start a new game when
you “wake it up”.
CHOOSE YO R L RE!
There are five specia ures to choose
from. Each one acts different y in the
water and gives you a great chance to
catch a fish. But be carefu , each ure
wi tend to “snag” on different objects
f oating in the ake.
Choose your ure by pressing the LURE
button. Press the button again to see
a of the ures avai ab e. The Lures
are:
Once you’ve decided on a ure, press
the ON•CAST•ENTER button to tie it to
your ine. NOTE: If you do not choose
a ure, you wi automatica y be given a
Worm. But don’t worry, as you know, a
fish ove worms!
Now that you’ve chosen your ure, it’s
time to cast it into the water!
CAST YO R LINE!
Whi e ho ding the ON•CAST•ENTER
button, make a quick, forward casting
motion. You wi hear your ine go out
and sp ash into the water.
Now, depending on the
ure you’ve chosen, your
hook wi begin to sink.
You can turn the HANDLE
to ree it back toward the
boat or et it sink to go
after the fish near the
bottom of the ake. NOTE: If you
choose TOP WATER or CRANKBAIT
ures, they wi not sink. You can turn
the HANDLE to ree it back toward the

CATCH A FISH!
As you watch the fish swim by, try to
ree in your ure so it moves right in
front of the fish.

But Watch Out!
These waters are fu of o d boots, tin
cans, and spare tires. Try to ree in
your ure so it doesn’t snag on them.
But most important y, be on the ookout
for the notorious POLE-EATING BAD
FISH! This nasty guy wou d ike
nothing better than to eat your fishing
po e for breakfast—hook, ine and
sinker! (Leve Two on y) So try to keep
your ure away from his big mouth or
e se he wi stea your who e fishing
po e!
REEL THEM IN!
When a fish bites your ure, the game
wi shake. To make sure you got ‘em,
jerk the game backwards to “set the
hook.” Once the hook is set, turn the
HANDLE to ree in your fish! The game
wi te you how much your fish weights,
and then it’s time to cast your ine and
go after another one!
NOTE: If there is no activity for about
one minute, Junior Bass Fishin’ wi
automatica y turn itse f off to save
power. Press the ON•CAST•ENTER
button to turn it back on again and start
a new game.
BATTERY NSTALLAT ON
This game is powered by two (2) AA
batteries.
•Using a screwdriver, oosen the screw
unti the battery compartment door in
the hand e can be removed.
•Insert two (2) AA(LR6) batteries (we
recommend a ka ine) as indicated
inside the battery compartment.
•Rep ace the battery compartment door
and tighten the screw with a
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
