2Use the remote
1. Slide off battery
compartment cover. Insert
the supplied battery with
the positive polarity (+)
facing up, and then replace
the cover.
2. Point the remote at the
antenna’s infrared sensor
(to the left of the display).
nBattery Notes:
• Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn
or bury them.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.
Your remote uses the 3V CR2032 button-cell battery.
• If you do not plan to use the remote for a long time,
remove the battery. Batteries can leak chemicals that can
damage electronic parts.
• Keep button-cell batteries away from children. Swallowing
them can be fatal.
3Save channels
1. Press and hold the STORE button on the remote until
the word “DIRECTION” flashes on the display.
2. Press DIRECTION / to adjust the antenna direction
(12 directions are available).
3. Press GAIN to set the gain level: HIGH, MID, LOW.
4. Press STORE to confirm the direction setting and set the
channel.

1Connect your antenna
1. Place the antenna on or near your TV.
2. Using the supplied coax cable, connect the antenna’s TV
terminal to your TV’s or VCR’s input terminal.
3. (Optional) using a coax cable (not supplied), connect a
second RF source to the AUX terminal.
4. Connect the AC adapter to the DC 12V jack.
nNote:
• Do not place the antenna near metal objects such as
cabinets, bookshelves, refrigerators, doors, walls, or water
pipes inside a wall. This can greatly reduce the antenna’s
ability to receive signals.
• Do not place any object on or near the top of the antenna
cabinet. This can seriously affect the performance of the
antenna.

Setting the Clock
1. Press and hold CLOCK to enter the clock setting mode.
The hour digits flash.
2. Press DIRECTION / to set the hour. PM appears for
times after 12 noon.
3. Press CLOCK to confirm the hour. The minute digits flash.
4. Press DIRECTION / to set the minute.
5. Press CLOCK to confirm and exit.

All replaced parts and products, and products on which a refund is made, become the property
of RadioShack. New or reconditioned parts and products may be used in the performance of
warranty service. Repaired or replaced parts and products are warranted for the remainder of the
original warranty period. You will be charged for repair or replacement of the product made after

5. Using the number buttons, enter a channel number
(1-100).
6. Press STORE to save the current channel.
To recall a channel, use the number buttons to directly enter
the channel number.
Clock mode resumes if you press no button in 10 seconds.
4Use the antenna
1. Press AUX/ANT to switch between the antenna (ANT)
and the second RF source (AUX, if connected).
2. Extend and adjust the antenna rods for best reception.
When connected to a digital tuner, rotate the antenna
rods to where the signal strength display indicates the
best signal level. It may take several seconds for the
tuner to stabilize and produce the best pictures.
3. Press DIRECTION / to adjust the antenna direction.
4. Press GAIN to select a gain level: HIGH (for weak or
distant stations), MID (for most stations), LOW (for
strong or nearby stations).
5. Use the number buttons to enter a channel number.
nNote: Go to www.AntennaWeb.org to find the distance
and direction of TV station transmitters from your home.
