INTERCHANGEABLE STRAPS - A ‘HOW TO’GUIDE
MASTER OF MATERIALS

STEP 1 REMOVING A STRAP OR BRACELET

1. Place the watch face down on a protected surface.

2. Carefully insert the spring-bar tool into the space between the case and strap/bracelet.

3. Push in the spring bar and lift it up and out of position.

4. Carefully release the spring bar and lift the first side away from the case.

5. Remove the other end of the spring bar away from the case and repeat on the other half of
the strap.

STEP 2 ADDING THE LEATHER STRAP OR MILANESE BRACELET

1. Place the watch face down on a protected surface and position the strap/bracelet so the
buckle end is at 12 o’clock.

2. Insert the spring bars into both ends of the new strap.

3. Carefully insert one side of the spring bar into the hole.

4. Carefully position the strap/bracelet and spring bar over the second hole and lower it in
gently using the tool.
Be careful: If the spring bar slides out of position it could scratch the outer surface of the case.

5. Check the strap/bracelet is firmly attached.

STEP 3 ADDING THE NATO STRAP

1. Place the watch face down on a protected surface and place the spring bars into the holes
using the tool.
Be careful: The spring bars can easily jump out when they’re pressed in.

2. With the spring bars in place, thread the NATO strap behind the watch head and back up
and through, making sure the buckle end is at 12 o’clock.
3. Put the end of the strap through the loop and pull into place. Adjust the strap to ensure the
watch head is in the middle.

4. Check the NATO strap is firmly attached.
