Requirements
• Host computer/smartphone with an available USB Type-C™ port (to ensure full
dock functionality, the host USB Type-C™ port must support USB Power Delivery
and DisplayPort™ Alt Mode.
Note: The docking station can still connect to a host smartphone with
a USB Type-C™ port that doesn’t support Power Delivery (must still
support DisplayPort™ Alt Mode). In this configuration, the docking
station will not provide 1.5 A power to your host smartphone.

• A 4K-capable HDMI® display is required to achieve 3840x2160@30 Hz resolution

Starting up / Inbetriebnahme
1. Connect USB Type-C™ cable / USB Type-C™ Kabel anschließen
Optional: Plug in power supply / Netzteil anschließen
Note: In order to power and charge your connected Windows 10 smartphone, its
USB Type-C™ port must support USB Power Delivery and the power supply need to be
connected. In order to transfer video signals from your connected Windows 10 smartpho-
ne or PC/laptop, its USB Type-C™ port must support DisplayPort™ Alt Mode.
Hinweis: Damit Ihr Windows 10 Smartphone mit Strom versorgt und auch geladen wird,
muss dessen USB Type-C™ Schnittstelle USB Power Delivery unterstützen und das Netzteil
muss angeschlossen werden. Damit Ihr Windows 10 Smartphone oder PC/Laptop
Videodaten übertragen kann muss dessen USB Type-C™ Schnittstelle den DisplayPort™

2. Connect your devices to the appropriate interfaces on the dock
Schließen Sie Ihre Perepheriegeräte an die entsprechenden Schnittstellen an.

USB Type-C™
Not all USB Type-C™ ports support the full functionality of the USB Type-C™ standard.
Some ports might only provide data transfers, and might not support video or Power
Delivery over USB.
To use this dock to its full potential, ensure that the host USB Type-C™ port from your com-
puter/smartphone supports DisplayPort™ Alt Mode, as well as USB Power Delivery.
Install and use the docking station
Once the IB-DK2101-C it is connected to your computer’s/smartphone’s USB Type-C™
port, the required drivers will automatically be installed. If you receive a prompt to auto-
matically install the driver(s), follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Connect your devices to the appropriate ports on the IB-DK2101-C. Connect your external
display to the dock’s video port.
Note: Video output capabilities are dependent on the video card and hardware specifica-
tions of your connected host computer/smartphone.
Configure a display device
Please setup your display settings accordingly to your operating system and requirements.
For detailed information, see the corresponding operation manual and description of your
operating system.

Nach dem Anschließen und Einschalten der IB-DK2101-C werden automatisch benötigte
Treiber installiert bzw. aktualisiert. Um die Installation abzuschließen, folgen Sie den An-
weisungen, falls während der automatischen Installation dazu aufgefordert werden sollten.
Schließen Sie Ihre Perepheriegeräte an die entsprechenden Schnittstellen an. Verbinden
Sie bei Bedarf einen zusätzlichen HDMI® Monitor mit dem Videoanschluss der IB-DK2101-C.
Hinweis: Die Videoausgabemöglichkeiten hängen von der verwendeten Grafikkarte und
weiteren Hardwarespezifikationen des angeschlossenen Host Computers/Smartphones ab.

Zur optimalen Einstellung Ihrer Anzeigeeinheiten gehen Sie bitte entsprechend Ihres
Betriebssystems und Ihrer Bedürfnisse vor. Genauere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte
