Nehmen Sie bitte folgende Informationen zur Kompatibilität von USB Type-C™
DockingStationen und Adaptern zur Kenntnis!
Anforderungen
Host Laptop mit freier USB Type-C™Schnittstelle. Um den vollen Funktionsumfang
zu gewährleisten, muss der verwendete USB Type-C™Anschluss USB Power
Delivery 2.0 und den DisplayPort™Alt Mode oder Thunderbolt™3 unterstützen
Hinweis:
Die Dockingstation kann auch an Host Laptops mit USB Type-C™Schnittstelle OHNE
Power Delivery Unterstützung genutzt werden (DisplayPort™Alt Mode wird weiterhin
benötigt). In diesem Falle kann das Laptop NICHT über die Type-C™Schnittstelle mit
Strom versorgt werden.

Nicht alle USB Type-C™Schnittstellen am Markt unterstützen den vollen Funkti-
onsumfang des USB Type-C™Standards. Einige Schnittstellen ermöglichen unter
Umständen lediglich Datenübertragung, aber eventuell keine Videoübertragung
oder Stromversorgung via USB.
Um das volle Potential der DockingStation ausschöpfen zu können, vergewissern Sie
sich, dass Ihre Host USB Type-C™Schnittstelle den DisplayPort™Alt Mode und USB
Power Delivery oder Thunderbolt3™unterstützt.

Please be informed about common issues regarding USB Type-C™docking stations
and adapters, including this device!
Requirements:
Host laptop with an available USB Type-C™port (to ensure full dock functionality,
the host USB Type-C™port must support USB Power Delivery 2.0 and DisplayPort™
Alt Mode or Thunderbolt™3
Note:
The docking station can still connect to a host laptop with a USB Type-C™port that
does not support Power Delivery (must still support DisplayPort™Alt Mode).
In this configuration, the docking station will not provide power to your host laptop.

• HDMI®enabled display with cable as needed
(for additional external display)
• A 4K-capable display is required to achieve 3840x2160@30 Hz resolution
• Any of the following operating systems: Windows®10, macOS®
USB Type-C™
Not all USB Type-C™ports support the full functionality of the USB Type-C™stan-
dard. Some ports might only provide data transfers, and might not support video or
power delivery over USB.
To use this dock to its full potential, ensure that the host USB Type-C™port from
your computer supports DisplayPort™Alt Mode, as well as USB Power Delivery or
Thunderbolt™3.

Both the DockingStation and your connected laptop should now be receiving

Note: In order to power and charge your connected laptop, its USB Type-C™port
must support USB Power Delivery 2.0 or Thunderbolt 3™. The delivered power
supply supports up to 85 W charging power (e.g. for MacBook Pro 15").

Type-C™DockingStation with Power Delivery
The Type-C™DockingStation is designed for extra connectivity demands.
With this DockingStation you can extend a USB Type-C™host interface and
DisplayPort™Alt Mode supported computer to one more display and USB Type-A
peripherals, Ethernet network, speaker and microphone through one USB Type-C™
cable. Adopting Power Delivery 2.0 charging technology, upstream charging
function through USB Type-C™interface, you can charge the connected laptop at
once.

Install and use the docking station
The dock will automatically install some of the required drivers once it is connected to
your laptop’s USB Type-C™port. If you receive a prompt to automatically install the
driver(s), follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Connect your devices to the appropriate ports on the dock. Connect your external
display(s) to the dock’s video port(s).
Note: Video output capabilities are dependent on the video card and hardware
specifications of your connected host laptop. Certain video cards have limited MST
support, while some monitors will also limit the available resolution.
Configure a display device
Please setup your display settings accordingly to your operating system and
requirements.
For detailed information, see the corresponding operation manual and description of
your operating system.

The DockingStation supports 4K HD resolution if the connected HDMI display
supports it.

Verwenden der Dockingstation
Schließen Sie Ihre Perepheriegeräte an die entsprechenden Schnittstellen an.
Verbinden Sie bei Bedarf einen zusätzlichen Monitor mit dem Videoanschluss der
DockinStation.
Hinweis: Die Videoausgabemöglichkeiten hängen von der verwendeten Grafikkarte
und weiteren Hardwarespezifikationen des angeschlossenen Host Computers ab.
Bestimmte Grafikkarten verfügen nur über eingeschränkte MST- oder Videounterstüt-
zung, während auch einige Monitore nur geringere Auflösungen unterstützen.
Monitoreinrichtung
Zur optimalen Einstellung Ihrer Anzeigeeinheiten gehen Sie bitte entsprechend Ihres
Betriebssystems und Ihrer Bedürfnisse vor. Genauere Informationen entnehmen Sie
bitte dem Handbuch und Beschreibungen ihres Betriebssystems.
Unterstützte Videoauflösungen
Die DockingStation unterstützt 4K HD Auflöungen, wenn der angeschlossene
HDMI®Monitor diese Auflöung ebenfalls unterstützt.
