Installation Guide
Insllion
1. Selec n insllion poin for your Triple Acion Filrion Sysem. This mus be fer boh
your rinwer nk pump nd ny mins/rinwer diversion devices. Ensure h he locion
you choose will llow enough room below your ilrion sysem uni o enble he uni o be
dismnled nd he iler crridge o be replced. We recommend inslling he housing
vericlly nd brcke horizonlly.
2. If inslling ouside, we recommend lso inslling  suible sunligh proecive cover o
prolong he life of he ilrion housing. Alernively, you could insll your Triple Acion
Filrion Sysem in  shelered posiion.
3. Using  screw driver nd supplied screws, i he mouning brcke o he op of he iler
housing. Ensure you oriene he brcke nd inle/oule of housing o correspond wih he
direcion of low in your insll locion.
4. Using PTFE pe (Telon hred pe), insll he pproprie hreded dpors ino ech end
(inle & oule) of your iler housing. Tke cre o no “cross hred” he hreded iler housing.
Threded dpors my vry depending on he ype nd size of supply piping you hve
hough we recommend using  “brrel” ype union for esy insllion.
5. Mrk he secion of piping you need o remove by mesuring he gp beween he unions
where he pipes would be fully insered.
TRIPLE ACTION FILTRATION SYSTEM
MAINTENANCE
The life of your iler crridge will be deermined by hree fcors: wer pressure, wer quliy
nd usge. Residul sedimens nd oher mer will evenully build up in your iler crridge,
cusing wer pressure drops. As such, crridge life my vry beween six nd welve monhs,
subjec o hese condiions.
Crridge replcemen is  firly srighforwrd minennce sk.
Before replcing he crridge in your Triple Acion Filrion Sysem, ensure h he wer
supply, power o he pump nd ny diversion swiches re urned o.
Relese ny pressure build up wihin he housing by using  screwdriver o cive he pressure
relief vlve on op of he iler housing. Using he housing ring spnner h cme wih your iler,
plce he long housing bse hrough he opening nd rise he spnner unil he ring is secure
round he long housing bse.
Unscrew he long housing bse wih he wrench in  clockwise direcion, hen remove he used
iler crridge nd clen he inside of boh upper nd lower housings. Be creful no o dmge
he blck O-ring.
Unwrp he new crridge nd inser i ino he long housing bse. Ensure h he O-ring sis
clenly on he O-ring se. Ach his o he housing op by urning ni-clockwise.
Tighen fully wih he supplied housing ring spnner. Slowly open he wer supply isolion
vlve nd bleed ny rpped ir from he housing hrough he pressure relief vlve (buon or
screw on op of he uni), unil only wer is relesed. This my need o be performed  few imes
o llow ll ir o escpe.
Open ll downsrem ps or vlves (one   ime) o purge ny remining ir from your sysem.
Check for ny leks in he sysem. Sel or oherwise recify hese leks if required.
6. Cu nd deburr boh upsrem nd downsrem ends of he piping.
7. Fi he iler housing in plce beween he open pipes nd secure mouning brcke in
plce wih pproprie nchors. You my ind i esier o remove he long housing bse
nd crridge while performing his sep.
8. Inser he crridge (mke sure you remove plsic wrp from crridge) ino he cenre of
he long housing bse ensuring h he O-ring sis clenly on he O-ring se nd ch
his o he housing op by urning ni-clockwise. Tighen fully wih he supplied housing
ring spnner.
9. Slowly open he wer supply isolion vlve nd bleed ny rpped ir from he housing
hrough he pressure relief vlve (buon or screw on op of he uni), unil only wer is
relesed. This my need o be performed  few imes o llow ll ir o escpe.
10. Open ll down srem ps or vlves (one   ime) o purge ny remining ir from
your sysem.

I is recommended o es your supply working pressure prior o insllion nd insll n
pproprie pressure limiing device if your supply pressure could exceed he bove limi.
