FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. For what types of taps is it suitable ?
Our filter can be connected to taps with an external thread
of 22 mm. There is also an adapter for connection to the taps
with an internal thread of 24 mm, it is included to your filter
purchase. Taps with 22 and 24 mm threads are two of the most
common types of taps in Europe.
If your tap has a different thread size and the filter does
not fit to your tap - let us know first, as we have adapters
for the other sizes of taps and we will tell you how you
can get them!!!

remove the aerator from
the tap, and follow the

ARAGON
UNIQUE
MICROGLOBULAR
MATERIAL
The lter cartridge, made
of Aragon material, is slightly
wet inside the lter. This is made
specially, because Aragon material
does not tolerate drying out;
if it dries, it can crack. You should
not be afraid that it is slightly wet
as it is the technical requirement
for the preservation of the cartridge.
After you connect the lter, you
need to turn the water on and wash
the lter for 3-5 minutes. After that,
the lter is ready to use.

5. How to change the cartridge?
There is a plastic key supplied with the filter. You need to do
everything as shown on the pictures below...
4. When to change the cartridge?
The service life of the Aragon cartridge depends on the
quality of the source water. The maximum life of the cartridge
is 3000 l., but if the water is very hard and heavily contaminated,
this resource will be much less. However, Aragon is a smart
material – it has a SELF-INDICATION function – you do not need
to count the liters of treated water- it will show you when you
need to replace it. There are two signs, when it is time to change
the cartridge:
1. The water pressure from the filter drops noticeably: this
means that the cartridge is dirty and it has to be replaced.
2. The organoleptic parameters of water like taste, color,
smell have changed noticeably or any visible impurities have
appeared in the water: this is the second sign that the cartridge
should be changed.
Usually, based on our experience, for a family of 4 people there
are the following term standarts of cartridge replacement:
– With soft water (up to 14° Clark), the cartridge is changed
approximately every 3 months.
– At average water hardness (from 14 to 22 °Clark), the cartridge
is changed approximately every 1.5-2 months.
– With hard and super-hard water (from 22 °Clark and above),
the cartridge is changed approximately every month.

7. “I have measured the water with a TDS meter and do not
see any difference before and after the measurement!”
Some of our customers try to check water hardness before
and after installing our filter, using a TDS meter or an EC meter,
but this is completely wrong! Measuring water hardness after
the installment of flow filters and ion exchange materials with
a TDS meter or an EC meter is incorrect, because a TDS meter
measures the electrical conductivity of water, but not its hardness!
The electrical conductivity of water depends on all impurities
6. Do not turn the alter on maximum!
After connecting the filter, you will notice that if you turn
it on maximum, the water will rush out of it under high pressure.
Let us explain why this happens: Geyser EURO is a flow-
through type of a filter: the quality of water purification depends
on the flow rate – the slower the water passes through it, the
better it filters water!
Therefore, the filter is designed specially in such a way that
the person should use the filter with less pressure as possible:
then the water will pass through the Aragon material slower,
increasing the contact time with filter material. Accordingly,
cleaning from impurities will be much better and you will get truly
purified water, enriched with useful Aragonite!

dissolved in water, and even on its temperature. At the same time
the hardness of water mostly depends on the amount of calcium
ions contained in the water.
Aragon is an ion-exchange material. It is its one
of the basic properties through which we get the softening
of water. The gist of ion-exchange method in Aragon is that
it takes one calcium cation and gives two sodium ions, i.E.
The type of ions has changed, and their quantity in water has
been increased 2 times! On one side, electrical conductivity
of water must be increased, but we should not forget about
the fact that Aragon has removed the other impurities
on which the conductivity depends, such as chlorine, iron,
insoluble particles, sand, rust, heavy metals. Ions increased
2 times more, but all the other impurities were deleted –
so the TDS meter shows almost the same result as it was before
filtration. That is why measuring the hardness of water with
the TDS meter after ion-exchange materials does not make any
sense, as it does not show the real picture. But you might
say, «and what about water softening, if the number
of salt ions remained the same?!». We will explain: calcium
is replaced by sodium, and sodium no longer leaves scale
on the electric heating devices, as it happens with calcium:
this is the softening of water – that is what we needed! This
is the principle of ion-exchange water softening. What is very
important that sodium is an indispensable element for the life
of the human body.
Moreover, Aragon
has unique property
of quasi softening of water
– it means that the same
salts of calcium, pass-
ing through tiniest pores
of the material, change
its crystalline struc-
ture and transforms
from calcite into arag-
onite (hence, Аragon is
the name of material).
Aragonite is a very rare
typeof calcium, in the nat-

The GEYSER EURO filter is designed for the purification
of cold tap water. The filter is installed permanently at the tap.
Switching between filter operating modes is performed by turning
the diverter.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Water treatment system
The GEYSER EURO filter is made of Aragon material (patent
No. 2203721) – a unique filtering polymer that combines three
filtration methods: mechanical, sorption and ion exchange. This
is a comprehensive water purification from all harmful impurities
with a single cartridge, which also allows you to get several times
increased water filtration rate compared to traditional filtering
materials. The complex labyrinth structure of the Aragon material
irreversibly traps dirt, rust and other suspended particles> 0.5 μm.
Active silver, integrated into the cartridge in indelible form, blocks
the growth of bacteria.
ural environment it is found only in the healing waters
of the famous resorts Karlovy Vary in the Czech Repablic!
Aragonite is a very digestible type of calcium. The human body
absorbs it quickly and completely.
However, quasi-softening will not be reflected in the data
of the TDS meter either, because the form of salts has been
changed again, but not their quantity.
The conductivity of water can be measured by the tds meter
only after reverse osmosis filters because these filters remove
almost 100% ions of all salts from the water, the water becomes
close to distilled, only H2O molecules remain there (so its electrical
conductivity becomes near 0) and the TDS meter detects this zero
conductivity!
However, the problem is that such water is like dead water:
it has no calcium, no magnesium, no sodium; it has nothing. Such
water gives nothing to the human body.
According to the recommendations of WHO (World Health Or-
ganization) high quality drinking water should contain the optimal
combination of mineral salts; only in this case it will be useful!

Filter usage
After having sustained interruptions in filter working, a filter
should be washed with water passing through it for a few minutes.
It should be done before a filter is filled with clean water.
While operating filter becomes blocked up. It leads to water
flow reducing and informs about filter working efficiency. Loss
of flow intensity depends on the quality and quantity of water
supplied. When the rate of filtration reduces it means that filtering
element needs cleaning or replacing.
ATTENTION! When replacing, only GEYSER cartridges
must be used!
Getting started. After a filter set-up:
• To remove an air lock, turn a housing hole up in clockwise
order; then turn a diverter handle across a housing (water supply
to a filter) and open cold water tap carefully; water begins to fill
a housing;
• When water stream flows without air bubbles, a tap should
be turned off and a housing should be turned in lockwise order
with its hole down;
• If there are leaks in conjunctions, screw them; Water should
be drained during 5 min. in order to wash a new filtration element;
• To reach the best degree of purification, a mixing faucet
should be adjusted to have water consumption of max. 0,5 L/min;
• A filter is ready to work.
Filter set-up
THERE ARE THE FOLLOWING ALTERNATIVES TO A FILTER
SET-UP ON A FAUCET SPOUT (A TAP IS OFF).
• If a spout has outer thread M22x1, a divider is screwed
off from a spout and a diverter is screwed on a spout. The connec-
tion is rmed by an available elastic gasket.
• If a spout has internal thread M24x1, a divider is screwed
off from a spout, an adapter coupling (packed) is screwed
on a spout and a diverter is screwed on a threaded part of a muff
(M22x1).

13
Filter element cleaning ( regeneration)
• Providing a mixing faucet closed, a handle should
be turned off and a FE (filtering element Aragon) should be taken
out following the warnings. FE cleaning has two stages:
Mechanical cleaning:
• FE should be cleaned with a soft brush (e.g. tooth brush)
under hot water spray. If its thin surface layer is removed,
the purification efficiency will become better.
Recovery of ion-exchange properties:
• It is necessary to make 3%-solution of citric acid (0.5 tea
spoon for 100 ml of water) and dip FE in it. This solution should
cover FE entirely. Leave FE in the solution for a night (about 10
hours), then discharge the solution and dip FE in baking soda
solution (0.5 tea spoon for a glass with water) for 30 minutes.
• Afterwards, set a FE into a housing and wash with stream
water for 3-5 minutes. A filter is ready to work.
Precautionary measures
• A filter must be guarded against drops and shocks
• A filtering element overdrying is not allowed. It must
be always wet.
• Be careful during filtering element extraction in order not
to damage it.
Warranty liability
A guarantee service life is 2 years starting from the day
of trading organization sale. If there is no a date of sale
and a trading organization stamp, the warranty starts from
a production date.
The warranty does not include filtering element, its capacity
is indicated.
Warranty liability becomes void in the following cases:
• A filter and spare parts have mechanic damages;
• Connection and use of a filter were without regard
to the requirements of this manual;
• A filter was used for purposes other than water treatment
(e.g. aggressive liquids purification).

verbrauchten Liter Wasser also nicht zählen. Es zeigt Ihnen, wann
Sie den Filter ersetzen müssen. Es gibt zwei Signale, dass
es Zeit ist, die Patrone zu wechseln:
