Safety Notes
Read all the following Safety Notes before working with this product. These
notes include important information about the installation, usage, and
maintenance of this product. This product contains no user-serviceable
parts. Any reference to servicing in this User Manual will only apply to
properly trained Rasha certied technicians. Do not open the housing or
attempt any repairs. All applicable local codes and regulations apply to
proper installation of this product.
Personal
Safety
Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while the product is on. Always
disconnect this product from its power source before servicing. Always
connect this product to a grounded circuit to avoid the risk of electrocution.
Do not touch this product’s housing during operation because it may be
very hot.
Rigging
This product is for indoor use only! To prevent risk of re or shock, do
not expose this product to rain or moisture. (IP20) CAUTION: When
transferring product from extreme temperature environments, (e.g. cold
truck to warm humid ballroom) condensation may form on the internal
electronics of the product. To avoid causing a failure, allow product
to fully acclimate to the surrounding environment before connecting it
to power. Mount this product in a location with adequate ventilation,
at least 20 in (50 cm) from adjacent surfaces. Make sure there are
n o  a m m a b l e m a t e r i a l s c l o s e t o t h i s p r o d u c t w h i l e i t i s o p e r a t i n g .
Always carry this product by the handles. Do not carry from the head.
When hanging this product, always secure to a fastening device using a
safety cable.
Power And
Wiring
Always make sure you are connecting this product to the proper voltage
in accordance with the specications in this manual or on the product’s
specication label. Never connect this product to a dimmer pack or
rheostat. Never disconnect this product by pulling or tugging on the power
cable.
Operation
Do not operate this product if you see damage to the housing, lenses,
or cables. Have the damaged parts replaced by an authorized technician
at once. To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during
periods of non-use completely disconnect the product from power via
breaker or by unplugging it. Do not cover the ventilation slots when
operating to avoid internal overheating. Do not aim this product toward
the Sun. The lenses could concentrate the solar energy and cause internal
overheating. The maximum ambient temperature is 113 °F (45 °C). Do
not operate this product at a higher temperature. In case of a serious
operating problem, stop using this product immediately!

Description
RODIE HEX (RGBAWUV+ Wireless) up light is designed for the
mobile entertainer, reducing the hassle unnessisary cables. RODIE HEX
(RGBAWUV+ Wireless)it has built in 2.4 GHz wireless DMX receiver,
static RED, GREEN, BLUE, AMBER and WHITE color, with the ablity
to custom mix color. RODIE HEX (RGBAWUV+ Wireless) delivers
stunning RGBAW colors and nearly eliminate multicolored shadows. User
can set xtures at any events, theater, bar, or any entertainment industry
wiht the ablitly to control up to 20 Fixtures* by DMX wirelessly.

SETUP
Power Supply
Each Rodie Hex(RGBAWUV+ Wireless) has an auto-ranging power
supply that works with an input voltage range of 100 to 240 VAC,
50/60 Hz. To determine the power requirements for each Rodie
hex(RGBAWUV+Wireless) refer to the label afxed to the product. You
can also refer to the Technical Specications chart in this manual. The
listed current rating indicates the maximum current draw during normal
operation. For more information, you may download Sizing Circuit
Breakers from the Rasha website: www.rashaprofessional.com

Always connect this product to a protected circuit with an appropriate
electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or re. To eliminate
unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-
use completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or by
unplugging it.
Never connect this product to a rheostat (variable resistor) or dimmer
circuit, even if the rheostat or dimmer channel serves only as a 0 to 100%
switch.
AC Plug
The Rodie Hex(RGBAWUV+ Wireless)comes with a power input cord
terminated with an Edison Connector (U.S. market). If the power input
cord that came with your product has no plug, or if you need to change the
Edison plug, use the table below to wire the new plug.
Fuse
Replacement
1. Disconnect this product from the power outlet.
2. Using a at-head screwdriver, lift the fuse holder cap from the housing.
3. Remove the blown fuse and replace with a another fuse of the same
type and rating (T 5 A).
4. press the fuse holder cap back in place and reconnect power.
Make sure to disconnect the product’s power cord before replacing a
blown fuse. Always replace the blown fuse with another of the same type
and rating
Power Linking
You can link 22 Fixtures @ 110V and 33 xtures @ 220V.
DMX
Personalities
• The
RODIE HEX (RGBAWUV+ Wireless)
uses a 3- or 5-pin DMX
data connection for the 6 or 11 channel DMX personalities.
• Refer to the Introduction chapter for a brief description of each DMX
personality.
• Refer to the Operation chapter to learn how to congure the Rodie Hex
(RGBAWUV+ Wireless)to work in these personalities.
• The DMX Values section provides you with detailed information regarding
the DMX personalities

Orientation Always mount this product in a safe position and make sure there is
adequate room for ventilation, conguration, and maintenance
Rigging
Rasha recommends using the following general guidelines when mounting
this product.
• When selecting an installation location, consider easy access to
this product for operation, programming adjustments, and routine
maintenance.
• Make sure to mount this product away from any ammable material as
indicated in the Safety Notes.
• Never mount in places where rain, high humidity, extreme temperature
changes, or restricted ventilation may affect the product.
• If hanging this product, make sure that the mounting location can
support the product’s weight. See the Technical Specications for the
weight-bearing requirements of this product.
• When hanging this product, always secure to a fastening device using
a safety cable.
Procedures
The RODIE HEX (RGBAWUV+ Wireless) comes with a preinstalled
mounting surface to which you will be able to attach most of our clamps
found at www.rashaprofessional.com/en/accesories. Make sure the
clamps are capable of supporting the weight of this product. Use at least
1 mounting point per product. In addition, use a safety cable to link the
product to the structure.

like any analong menu in todays market, Touching the approprate buttons will set or
modify setting.

Press MENU to navagate menu
• press <UP> or <DOWN> to scroll to correct setting. Touch <Enter> to enter sub
menu.
• Set and save value. Touch <ENTER> submenu.
3. Sub-Menu
• Select desired sub menu from main menu to enter corresponding sub menu shown
below. There is a of total 14 menu programs, includes class of parameter and

DMX ADDRESSING
To set the xture’s DMX address:
1. Select Addr and press the ENTER button.
2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select a DMX address.
3. Once the address has been selected, press the ENTER
button to set it display appears Addr (or, to return to a higher
level of the menu structure without any change press the
MENU or up button).
DMX CHANNEL MODES
1. 1. Select CHND and press the ENTER button.
2. Use the DOWN and UP buttons to select the 7CH or 12CH
DMX channel mode.
3. Once the desired mode is diplayed, press the ENTER button
to set it
FIXTURE MODE
1. Select SLND and press the ENTER button.
2. Use the DOWN and UP buttons to select the SLAU or NAST
mode and Press Enter.
3. Once set SLND, display will show STBY after some seconds, if
choose NAST mode display will show chosed static option.
SHOW MODE
1. SH O=Random scenes and effects (requires sound activation
to be enabled).
2. COLO - Shows one of 38 preset colors with no scene
changes. Colors are with full range dimming.
(sound activation has no effect)
3. FADE - Color changes - fast (SP1) to slow (SP3).
(sound activation)
4. FLSH - Strobe speed- slow(1) to fast(255) -
(Colo mode activation and choose color to be enabled)

DIMMER MODES
For DMX control, there are four possible settings for controlling
the rate of dimming.
DI 1 - LINEAR - The increase in light intensity appears to be
linear as DMX value is increased
DI 2 - SQUARE LAW - light intensity control is ner at low levels
and coarser at high levels.
DI 4 - INVERSE SQUARE LAW - light intensity control is coarser
at low levels and ner at high levels.
DI 4 - S-CURVE - light intensity control is ner at low levels and
high levels and coarser at medium levels.
To set the xture’s dimmer curve:
1. Select DINN and press the ENTER button to conrm. The present mode will blink on
the display.
2. Use the DOWN and UP buttons to select: DI I or DI 2 or DI 3 or DI 4
3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it.
SOUND ACTIVATION
The xture has a built-in microphone that can be used to
synchronize its behavior to the beat of music. When the xture
is not connected to a DMX controller, and is running in Show
Mode, it can be set to trigger scene changesm (effects and color
changes) in synch with music.To turn on/off sound activation mode:
1. Select Soun and press the ENTER button.
2. Use the DOWN and UP buttons to select any type of sound effect(Sd1-Sd5) .
3. Once the mode has been selected, press the ENTER button to set it

CUSTOMIZED COLOR
To set your personlized custom color and save on light
1. Select CuSt and press the ENTER button.
2. Use the DOWN and UP buttons to change the Custom color
CC1-CC5 then Press Enter.
3. After pressed Enter on CC1- CC5, put the color brightness 0-255, then Press UO/
Down Button to jump or add other effect then press Enter, User can save 5 customized
color and effect on xture. to open customized color open CC1- CC5.
BLACKOUT
You can blackout the xture using the control menu:
1. Select BLND and press the ENTER button.
2. Use the DOWN and UP buttons to select YES or NO. Press
the ENTER button to set.
LED DISPLAY ON/OFF
To set the LED display to be on all the time, or to automatically
switch off after 10 seconds when not in use:
1. Select Led menu and press the ENTER button.
2.Use the DOWN and UP buttons to select the ON (LED on) or
OFF (LED off when not in use). Press the ENTER button to set.
LED DISPLAY INVERSION
To invert the LED display:
1. Select DISP menu and press the ENTER button.
2. Use the DOWN and UP buttons to select the (normal display
orientation) or (invert display). Press the ENTER button to set
AUTO TEST
To perform a complete test of all of the xture functions
1. Select Test and press the ENTER button. The xture will run a
self-test routine.

FIXTURE TIME
To display the xture’s operating hours counter:
1. Select Fhr5 and press the ENTER button. The display will
show thenumber of hours the unit has been run.
FIRMWARE VERSION
To display the xture’s installed rmware version number
1. Select Ver and press the ENTER button. The display will
show
the version of software installed on the xture.
RESET
Reset the light as factory setting
1. Select rest and press the ENTER button. Display will show
STBY, all custom seting will back as defult setting.

1. Intro
Operating through an DMX controller gives the user the freedom to create their own
programs tailored to their own individual needs. Follow the directions below to set your
DMX Mode and address.
1. Before connecting to DMX controller, your xture has different DMX channel modes;
please select your desired DMX Channel mode by pressing the MENU button button,
then using the “Up” or “Down” buttons to scroll to CHND. Press ENTER to access
seconday menu. Select the desired channel and press ENTER to set the mode before
you address the xture.
2. After you have selected your mode, set the wireless DMX wireless reciever. The built-
in reciever must be addressed to the same frequency as your transmitter. Press the
ID code Selector Button (2) until the Wireless Signal LED color (3) matches both the
transmitter and your xture.
Note: If the transmission is successful the light and dmx controller (wireless transmitter)
the Green Led bulb in rear side of the light it will start to blip(means the successful in
transmission).
3. Set xture at Master mode: In order to set xture master mode, press menu button
choose SLND” Press Enter choose NAST press Enter(if you want to set xture as Master
xture or stand alone mode)
4. Set xture at Slave mode, In order to set xture at Slave mide, press Menu button
choose “SLND” Press “Enter” choose “SLAU” press “ENTER”(In order to set xture at
slave mode or run as per comman of dmx or master xture)
WIRELESS DMX
If working in 11 Channel mode make sure that the DMX faders 7 (dimmer)
and 8 (Strobe) are at full 255 and 1-6 are your colors.
If working in 6 Channel mode make sure that the DMX fader 6 is at full 255
and 1-5 are your colors.
