Before attempting to use your antenna, please remove all parts from
the box and read the installation and use instructions carefully.

Water and Moisture
Do not use this antenna near water. Keep away from a bathtub,
sink, wet basement or swimming pool and other wet places.
Power Source
The wall adapter for this antenna should be operated only from a
standard 120 V, 60 Hz wall outlet. If you are not sure of the type of
power supply to your home, contact your local power company.
Ventilation
Slots and openings in the cabinets are provided for ventilation and to
ensure reliable operation and prevent overheating. Do not use on a
bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface.
Servicing
Do not attempt to service this antenna yourself as opening or removing
covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards and
voids your warranty. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
Cleaning
Unplug the antenna from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a lint
free cloth for cleaning the outside of the unit only. Do not use aerosol
cleaners.
Important Information
Your antenna’s AC adapter operates on 120 volts AC, 60 Hz.
CAUTION:
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover or back of
the AC adapter or antenna. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
• If you spill liquid on the AC adapter or antenna, disconnect the AC
adapter’s power cord from the AC outlet to prevent possible fire or shock
hazard and consult authorized service personnel.
•
To prevent damage to internal parts, do not expose the antenna to moisture.
•Maintain electrical safety. Powerline-operated equipment or acces-
sories connected to this unit should bear the UL listing mark or
CSA certification mark on the accessories themselves and should
not have been modified so as to defeat the safety features. This
will help avoid any potential hazard from electrical shock or fire.
If in doubt, contact qualified service personnel.

Important Safety Instructions For
Antenna
Before using the AC adapter or antenna, read all instructions and
cautionary markings on the AC adapter and antenna.
Do not expose the AC adapter and antenna to moisture of any kind.
Use of any AC adapter not included with the antenna or recommended
or sold by the antenna manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric
shock, or injury and will void your warranty.
To reduce risk of damage to the AC adapter, do not pull on the cord to
disconnect from the wall outlet. Instead, disconnect the unit from the
outlet by pulling on the plug rather than the cord.
Make sure the cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped
over, or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
Do not operate AC adapter or antenna with a damaged cord or plug.
Replace it immediately.
Do not operate the AC adapter or antenna if it has received a sharp
blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way.
Do not disassemble the AC adapter or antenna. Incorrect reassembly
may result in a risk of electric shock. Disassembly of product by
unauthorized personnel will result in voiding your product warranty.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug AC adapter from outlet
before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
Do not install the antenna near heat sources such as radiators or air
ducts, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical
vibration, or shock.
Do not use alcohol, benzine, or thinner to clean antenna’s surfaces.
Be sure to save instructions for future reference.

Installation
Hooking Up To The Antenna Input On Your TV Or VCR
Coaxial Cable Hook-up
1. Locate the “Antenna In” connector on the back of your TV or VCR.
2. Screw the end of the antenna cable to the “Antenna In” connector on the
back of your TV or VCR.

1. Locate the “Antenna In” connector on the back of your TV.
2. Screw the Antenna cable into the 75/300 ohm transformer. Connect the VHF
and UHF antenna leads to the corresponding VHF and UHF screws on the TV.

Turning Power On
The Antenna operates on DC power via a 120 VAC wall adapter.
Don't plug the wall adapter into any other power source.
To power your antenna:
1. Connect the power supply to your antenna by plugging the cord
into the jack marked 12VDC, 200mA on the back of the antenna.
2. Plug the wall adapter into a 120 VAC, 60Hz wall outlet.
3. Turn the antenna on by switching the 3 position switch to the AMP
position (located on the back of the antenna).

Your cable, satellite, or DBS Satellite System can be directly connected to
the Antenna allowing access to off-air local programming. By a simple
flick of a switch on the back of the antenna, you can switch from your
local off-air programming to cable, satellite or DBS Satellite System
programming.
1. Connect the power supply to your antenna by plugging the cord
into the jack marked 12VDC, 200mA on the back of the antenna.
2. When the switch is in the CABLE IN position, the signal from your
cable, satellite, or DBS Satellite System will pass through the antenna
to your TV or VCR without interference.
3. To hook-up your cable, satellite, or DBS Satellite System to the antenna,
connect the “OUT TO TV” cable from the antenna to the TV or VCR
connector marked “IN FROM CABLE”.
4. When the switch is in the AMP position, you will receive local
programming from amplified off-air signals via the antenna.
5. When the switch is in the BY PASS OFF-AIR SIGNAL position, the
off-air signal will travel to the TV without amplification. Use this
position when the antenna is used near transmitters and
amplification is not necessary.

Tuning and Adjustments
Take the following steps to tune and adjust your antenna.
1. Select the channel you want to watch.
2. Turn the antenna power on by switching the 3 position switch to
the appropriate position.
3. Move the extended dipoles (channels 2-13) or the loop
(channels 14 and higher) until you get the best picture possible.
4. Increase the antenna power by turning the UHF or VHF Power
Control Dial clockwise until you get the best picture possible.
5. This process may need to be repeated each time channels
are changed.
