of HDTV. The RCA Scenium Digital High-Definition Monitor can display 1080i (interlaced)
television signals (864,000 pixels) when you combine this television with an RCA HD/Digital
Receiver. In addition, with its six sets of audio and video inputs the RCA Scenium High-
Definition TruFlat™Monitor has much more to offer outside the world of HDTV. It’s the
perfect display for analog, digital and HDTV broadcasts, digital satellite receiver, video games,

TruFlat™Technology
New technology allows our TruFlat tubes
to be flat not only on the outside, but
the inside as well. This allows near perfect
alignment between the tension mask
and the glass panel. This technological
feat allows an increase in the number of
mask apertures and reduces the dot pitch.
The TruFlat tube is designed to provide a
distortion-free viewing experience ideal for
HDTV, digital broadcast and emerging
multimedia applications.
Progressive Scan Up Conversion
The new RCA Scenium™HDTV|monitor series
employs motion adaptive up conversion
using spatial and temporal filtering to
de-interlace NTSC video. This process
digitally combines two fields of data into
one high-resolution image frame. This
process also supports Adaptive Film Mode
for optimum output using video converted
from film.
Anamorphic Mode
The new RCA Scenium™HDTV|monitor
series decodes an Anamorphically encoded
digital signal (DVD for example) allowing
for the maximum horizontal lines of
resolution to be displayed.
New SYNCROSCAN™HD
Component Inputs
Automatically adjusts scan rate of component
video inputs (YPrPb). Allows for connection of
regular or progressive-scan DVD players or
component-output HDTV set-top boxes.
3-Line Digital Comb Filter
Separates black-and-white detail from
color information to virtually eliminate edge
crawls and rainbow effects while extending
picture resolution.
Video Noise Reduction
Video noise filter greatly reduces noisy
picture interference by automatically
