VI. Troubleshooting:
No water dispensing
or poor flow rate
No or slow sparkling
water only
If the SPARKLING WATER button is flashing
and will not dispense water, a reset is required.
Place a cup larger than 33oz under the spout.
Then press and hold the SPARKLING WATER
dispense button until a beep is heard (5 seconds).
Release the button. The dispenser will dispense
water for 10-15 seconds until the reset is

complete.
CO2 pressure is used to force sparkling water out
of the spigot. If the CO2 cylinder is empty,
water will not flow properly. If the “Replace
CO2” light is flashing, replace the CO2 cylinder
with a new one.
No water from any
button
Ensure there is water in the 5-gallon bottle. If
the bottle is empty, replace the bottle with a new
one.
The dispenser requires power to dispense water.
Ensure the dispenser is plugged into a functional
wall outlet or power supply. LED lights will
illuminate if there is power.
Water is Leaking

be an issue with the dispenser. Contact your
ReadyRefresh Service Center
From elsewhere
Ensure the no-spill cover on top of the dispenser
is pushed fully down and sitting flat.
Remove the 5-gallon bottle and inspect it for
holes or damage. Place a new bottle onto the
dispenser and monitor for leaks
If leaks continue, contact your ReadyRefresh
Service Center
Water is Not
Hot/Cold/Sparkling
No Sparkling
If the CO2 cylinder is empty, water will not be
sparkling. If the “Replace CO2” light is
flashing, replace the CO2 cylinder with a new
one. If the cylinder is not empty, the cylinder
may have loosened from the cooler, causing the
gas flow to stop. Remove the cylinder and
reinstall until it is fully tight.
Water needs to be cold to properly absorb the
CO2 and provide the sparkling sensation. If the
icon is flashing, allow the dispenser to finish
chilling the water. After the icon remains
steady, the water should be fully saturated with
CO2.
Not Cold
The dispenser has two cold reservoirs to chill:
still & sparkling. Because of the large capacity,
it can take up to 2 hours to fully chill the water
after initial setup
After dispensing more than 1 liter of still or
sparkling water, the dispenser may take up to 1
hour to fully chill the water.
The dispenser needs at least 4-6” of clearance on

Rev. A - 060220
each side to allow proper cooling of the
condenser coils. Ensure adequate spacing.
Dirty or dusty condenser coils may impact
performance. Inspect the condenser coils on the
back of the dispenser, and ensure they are clean.
Wipe them with a clean, dry cloth if necessary.
Not Hot
The dispenser has a red HOT SWITCH on the
back of the dispenser to manually turn the heater
on and off. Ensure the switch is illuminated and
in the ON position
The dispenser may take up to 20-30 minutes to
fully heat the water after initial setup, or after
dispensing more than 1 liter of hot water.
Dispenser is Noisy
Loud humming
The dispenser has a compressor that chills the
water when the temperature rises, and a booster
pump that allows sparkling water to overcome
the high pressure of CO2 gas when dispensing.
The “humming” heard during either of these
actions is normal.
Hissing is heard
If hissing is heard, CO2 gas may be leaking.
Ensure the CO2 cylinder is fully tightened into
the dispenser funnel until a hard stop is felt.
The CO2 cylinder valve may be damaged.
Install a new cylinder and monitor for additional
hissing.
If hissing is still heard, contact your
ReadyRefresh Service Center.

VIII. Carbonator Tank Water Level Inspection and Control:
The sparkling water level is measured by a float switch.
1. When the float switch is disengaged for more than one second, the sparkling water level is
low and the booster pump will engage to refill chamber;
2. When the float switch is engaged for more than one second, it means the sparkling water
level is acceptable and the booster pump disengages.

Rev. A - 060220
IX. Airlock Release Program:
1. If the booster pump is running for more than two minutes, but the float switch does not
become engaged, the sparkling water reservoir will become airlocked with CO2. This is
caused by continuously pressing the dispense button with no water available, or if the
dispenser is improperly setup. The dispenser will recognize this and activate the Airlock
Release Program.
2. When activated, the green dispense button will continuously flash, indicating that the
dispense function is disabled. Pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds will start the
correction sequence.
3. The high pressure gas solenoid will close, preventing CO2 from entering the reservoir.
The dispense solenoid will then open, releasing the high pressure airlock. The booster
pump will engage and water will continue to flow until the reservoir is completely filled
with water.
4. When the float switch is engaged, the program will terminate and the dispenser will return
to normal operating conditions.
