well inside the chuck. If the bit/accessory is not inserted deeply enough, the grip of the
chuck over the shank of the bit/accessory is greatly reduced likely to increase the risk of
loss of control. After inserting the bit, pull on it, so as to ensure that it is properly locked.
•If the bit becomes bound or jammed in the workpiece, immediately stop the tool by
releasing the trigger switch, then reverse the rotation direction and slowly squeeze
on the trigger switch to release and remove the bit. Be ready for strong reaction
torque likely to cause a kickback.
•Never grasp the tool (the chuck or the bit/accessory) while in motion and never
place your hands too close to the spinning chuck or drill bit. Laceration hazard.
•Never change the rotation direction of the chuck while the tool is still running.
Ensure that the chuck has come to a complete stop before changing rotation direction.
•Avoid touching the drill bit just after use, as it may be hot. Similarly, when removing
the bit/accessory from the tool, wear protective gloves to grasp it. Accessories (bits)
may become hot after prolonged use. Avoid contact with skin. Burn hazard.
•Always wait until the chuck and accessory have come to a complete stop before
placing it down.
•Some materials may contain chemicals that can be toxic. Avoid inhalation of dust
and any contact with the skin.

PL
TIPS FOR DRILLING
•Prior to drilling, make sure that correct work mode has been set- adjusting ring is set to
the marking. In this setting the slip clutch is inactive and the torque is maximum.
•Always drill with right rotation direction set.
•The drill bit should be suitable for the material of the workpiece.
•When drilling into soft wood, it is recommended to set maximum speed.
•When drilling in hard wood, it is recommended to set minimum speed.
•Drilling in wood: When drilling in wood, the best results are obtained with wood drills
equipped with a guide screw. The guide screw makes drilling easier by pulling the drill
bit into the workpiece.
•Drilling in metal: To prevent the drill bit from slipping when starting a hole, make an
indentation with a center-punch and hammer at the point to be drilled. Place the point
of the drill bit in the indentation and start drilling.
•Use a cutting lubricant when drilling metals. The exceptions are iron and brass which
should be drilled dry.
CAUTION:
•Applying excessive pressure on the power tool does not speed up the drilling process.
Excessive pressure may damage the tip of the bit, reduce power tool eciency and
shorten its lifespan.
•There is a tremendous force exerted on the power tool when the drill bit begins to break
through the workpiece. Remember to hold the power tool firmly and exert care.
•If the power tool is operated continuously until the battery has discharged, allow the
power tool to rest for 15 minutes before proceeding with a fresh battery.
TIPS FOR DRIVING IN SCREWS
•Torque setting depends on the type of work being performed, type and hardness of the
material of the workpiece as well as the type and size of the screwdriver bit. The higher
number on the adjusting ring, the higher torque.
•When driving wood screw, pre-drill a pilot hole. It makes driving easier and prevents
splitting of the workpiece.
•Place the point of the driver bit in the screw head and apply pressure to the tool.
Start driving in screw at the lowest torque and speed setting and increase gradually if
required. Release the ON/OFF switch as soon as the clutch cuts in.
MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch o the power tool and remove the
battery.
