'Remote Codes' Menu
●CD1 – Original RED UM remote control
(Factor Default)
(1 Beep)
●AV1 – TouchScreen remote
(supplied with updated RED UM codes)
(2 Beeps)
●DVD – Unused (3 Beeps)
●CD2 – Unused (4 Beeps)
●AV2 – Level 2 Menu System
(To confirm current settings, press Bal button.)

'Volume Control Movement' Menu
●CD1 – Automatically tend to correct balance as
volume controls move. Hardly ever need to push
Bal button (Factor Default)
(1 Beep)
●AV1 – Attempt to maintain customer's intentionally set
balance differential by driving both controls in
proportion to starting position
(2 Beeps)
●DVD – Unused (3 Beeps)
●CD2 – Unused (4 Beeps)
●AV2 – Unused (5 Beeps)

'Sounds' Menu
●CD1 – “Power-Up” Sounds & Power-On Self-Test
(P-O S-T) (Factor Default)
(1 Beep)
●AV1 – “Power-Up” Sounds only; no P-O S-T.
●(2 Beeps)
●DVD – P-O S-T only; no “Power-Up” Sounds
(3 Beeps)
●CD2 – No “Power-Up” Sounds; no P-O S-T
(4 Beeps)
●AV2 – Unused (5 Beeps)

'Selector Switching' Menu
●CD1 – 'Memory Select' - Select immediately, then
change to last remembered volume level for
selected input (Factor Default)

●AV1 – 'Professional Fade' - Volume fades out, selector
changes to new input, volume rises up to last
remembered volume level for this input
(2 Beeps)
●DVD – 'Basic Select' - Select immediately – no volume
changes
(3 Beeps)
●CD2 – 'Silent Change' - Unselect input, change to next
remembered volume, select new input
(4 Beeps)
●AV2 – unused

'Mute' Menu
●CD1 – 'Normal Mute' - Mute/Unmute (No volume control
movements) (Factor Default)
(1 Beep)
●AV1 – 'Variable Mute' - Operate Mute, Adjust volume
control to last used Mute Volume on this input –
Unmute – restores volume then releases Mute
(2 Beeps)
●DVD – Unused (3 Beeps)
●CD2 – Unused (4 Beeps)
●AV2 – Unused (5 Beeps)
(To confirm current settings, press Bal button.)

'Level 2' Menu entry point
Press Magic button to reset all options to Factory Default
(musical tone - “Baa Baa Black Sheep” - confirms when reset)
and/or
(Up Volume button to Exit from of the menu system.)
Other Level 2 Menu options - currently all unused.
