1.0 INTRODU TION
Th products d scrib d in this instruction manual ar manufactur d
by R lianc El ctric Industrial Company. Th Automax Proc ssor
modul plugs into th backplan of an AutoMax rack and x cut s
application programs which in turn control oth r AutoMax modul s in
th syst m. Th M/N 57C430A and 57C431 Proc ssor modul s ar
bas d on th Motorola 68010 16Ćbit microproc ssor. Th M/N
57C435 Proc ssor modul is bas d on th Motorola 68020 32Ćbit
microproc ssor. All thr Proc ssors ar programm d using thr
highĆl v l application languag s: BASIC, Control Block and Ladd r
Logic.

(M/N 57C413 or M/N 57C423) for bus arbitration and sharing of

128K byt s of m mory for common, i. ., syst mĆwid , variabl s.
An onĆboard lithium batt ry and a sup rĆcapacitor prot ct th
Proc ssor modul from pow r failur s. Should th syst m los
pow r, th onĆboard batt ry of th M/N 57C430A or 57C431
Proc ssor can maintain th cont nts of RAM for a minimum of 42
days. Th onboard batt ry of th M/N 57C435 Proc ssor can
maintain th cont nts of RAM for a minimum of 186 days.
