GETTING STARTED
Be patient when first using your body trimmer. As with any new product, it may take a little
while to familiarise yourself with the product. Take the time to acquaint yourself with your
new trimmer, as we are confident you will receive years of enjoyable use and complete
satisfaction.
CHARGING YOUR BODY TRIMMER
Before using your body trimmer for the first time, charge for 14-16 hours.
Ensure the product is switched off.
Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains.
The charging indicator will light up.
Use product until the battery is low.
Your trimmer cannot be overcharged. However, if the product is not going to be used for an
extended period time (2-3 months), unplug it from the mains and store. Fully recharge your
body trimmer when you would like to use it again.
To preserve the life of your batteries, let them run out every six months then recharge for
14-16 hours.
HOW TO USE
ADJUSTING THE TRIM LENGTH (Diagram A)
The trimmer comb can be adjusted to give you 5 different trim lengths simply by turning the
Zoom wheel to the desired setting. Turn the Zoom wheel clockwise for shorter length, anti-
clockwise for longer length. The wheel will click into place as it reaches each setting, and the
setting number will appear on the length position indicator.

NOTE: Trimmer comb must be attached to the product in order to use the hair length
selector.
TRIMMING (Diagram B)
Use the zoom wheel to set the trimmer comb to the desired length setting. The
setting will appear on the length position indicator. If you are trimming for the first time
start with the maximum trimming length setting (5).
Turn the unit on.
Place the flat top of the trimmer comb against the skin.
Slowly slide the trimmer through the hair, in the direction of hair growth.
If hair builds up in the trimmer comb during the trimming process, switch the unit
off, pull off the adjustable trimmer comb. Brush trimmer/rinse comb.
For a closer and precise shaping, remove the adjustable trimmer comb and trim the
hairs along the outer edge.
When you finish, turn the product off, clean, and return it to its storage pouch.
EDGING AND SHAPING (Diagram C)
Remove the Trimmer Comb Attachment.
Hold the Trimmer at a right angle to your skin and press down gently.
Edge and shape the area as desired.
USING THE SHAVER ATTACHMENT (Diagram D)
Hold the shaving head to your skin.
Stretch your skin with your free hand so hairs stand upright.
Only apply light pressure on the shaving head while shaving.
Shave against hair growth.
The Microscreen shaving technology with circular foil holes is developed to give a
controlled close cut.
EXCHANGING THE ATTACHMENTS
Always ensure the trimmer is switched off before changing the trimmer and shaver
attachments.
REMOVING THE TRIMMER COMB AND CUTTING ASSEMBLY
Hold the Trimmer in one hand with your thumb firmly on the Zoom wheel to keep
it from turning.
With your other hand, gently pull the trimmer comb attachment off the Trimmer.
Remove the cutting assembly by firmly pushing up on the blade with your thumb
(Diagram E & F).
REMOVING THE SHAVER ATTACHMENT
Hold the Trimmer in one hand with your thumb firmly on the Zoom wheel to keep
it from turning.
With your other hand, gently pull the Shaver Attachment off the Trimmer.

REMOVING THE SHAVER COVER (Diagram G)
Gently push the buttons either side of the shaving foil. With the other hand lift the
shaver cover. Clean then replace.
REPLACING THE CUTTER ASSEMBLY
Hold the Trimmer in one hand. With your other hand, insert the lower part of the
cutter assembly into the Trimmer, push down the cutter until firmly attached.
REPLACING THE TRIMMER COMB AND SHAVER ATTACHMENT
(Diagram H)
Hold the Trimmer in one hand with your thumb firmly on the Zoom wheel to keep
it from turning. Ensure that the Length Position Indicator is at 1.
Slide the comb/shaver down the grooves until it clicks into place.
NOTE: The trimmer comb and shaver attachment can only be attached in one way.
If it does not go on correctly, turn it around and try again.
REPLACING THE FOILS & CUTTERS
To ensure the continued highest quality performance from your shaver, we recommend that
the foil and cutter are replaced regularly.
Signs that your foils and cutters need replacing:
1. Irritation: As foils get worn, you may experience skin irritation.
2. Pulling: As the cutters wear, your shave may not feel as close and you may feel your
cutter pulling your hair.
3. Wear through: You may notice that the cutters have worn through the foils.

CARE FOR YOUR TRIMMER
Care for your product to ensure a long lasting performance. We recommend you clean your
shaver after each use. The easiest and the most hygienic way to clean the shaver is by rinsing
the product head after use with warm water. Always keep the trimmer in the “off” position
when not in use.
AFTER EACH USE
Turn Trimmer off.
Remove the adjustable trimmer comb and cutter assembly or shaver attachment.
Gentle tap on a flat surface to remove hair particles, and brush the remaining hairs
away/rinse under warm water (Diagram I).
CLEANING CAUTIONS
Only the adjustable trimmer comb and cutter assembly may be removed from the
Trimmer for cleaning.

Cleaning should only be done with a soft brush, such as the brush supplied with the
product.
Only use the light-grade oil supplied or sewing machine oil on the blades.
Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the units or their cutters.
Do not apply pressure or hard objects to cutters.
Do not disassemble cutter assembly.
Do not submerge in water as damage will occur.
STORAGE
Always store this appliance and cord in a moisture-free area. Do not store it in
temperatures exceeding 140°F (60°C).
Do not wrap the cord of the charging adaptor around the appliance.

An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in to a power outlet.
Keep the power plug and cord away from heated surfaces.
Make sure the power plug and cord do not get wet.
Do not unplug the product with wet hands.
Do not use the product with a damaged cord. A replacement can be obtained via
our International Service Centres listed at the back of this booklet.
Use and store the product at a temperature between 15°C and 35°C.
Always unplug from the mains when cleaning or when being used under running
water.
Only use the parts supplied with the appliance.
This product is for cordless use only. Do not use your Trimmer while it is plugged
into the mains.
Keep this product out of reach of children. The use of this appliance by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge can
give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety should give explicit instructions
or supervise the use of the appliance.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
The product contains a Nickel Metal Hydride cell unit. Do not dispose the trimmer in
household waste at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take place at our service centres
or appropriate collection sites.
CAUTION: Do not put in fire or mutilate your battery packs as they may burst or release
toxic materials.

SERVICE & WARRANTY
This product has been checked and is free of defects. We warrant this product against any
defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a year period from the original
date of consumer purchase. If the product should become defective within the warranty
period, we will repair any such defect or elect to replace the product or any part of it
without
charge provided there is proof of purchase. This does not mean an extension of the warranty
period.
In the case of a warranty simply call the Remington®Service Centre in your region.
This warranty is offered over and above your normal statutory rights.
The warranty shall apply in all countries in which our product was sold via an authorised
dealer.
This warranty does not include shaving heads/foils and cutters which are consumable parts.
Also not covered is damage to the product by accident or misuse, abuse, alteration to the
product or use inconsistent with the technical and/or safety instructions required. This
warranty shall not apply if the product has been dismantled or repaired by a person not
authorised by us.

ERSTE SCHRITTE
Überstürzen Sie nichts, wenn Sie Ihren Body Hair Trimmer zum ersten Mal benutzen. Wie
bei jedem neuen Gerät kann es etwas dauern, bis Sie damit vertraut sind. Nehmen Sie sich
die Zeit, um sich mit Ihrem neuen Body Hair Trimmer vertraut zu machen. Wir wünschen
Ihnen mit Ihrem REMINGTON Body Hair Trimmer viel Freude.
LADEN IHRES BODY-TRIMMERS
Laden Sie den Body Hair Trimmer bei erstmaliger Verwendung für 14-16 Stunden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Body-Trimmer ausgeschaltet ist.
Verbinden Sie den Ladeadapter mit dem Body Hair Trimmer und schließen Sie ihn dann an
das Stromnetz an. Die Ladekontrollanzeige leuchtet auf.
Es besteht bei Ihrem Body Hair Trimmer keine Gefahr, dass Sie das Gerät überladen. Wenn
Sie den Body Hair Trimmer über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzen (2-3 Monate),
trennen Sie ihn vom Stromnetz und verstauen Sie das Gerät. Laden Sie Ihren Body-Trimmer
vollständig auf, wenn Sie ihn wieder benutzen möchten.
Um die Laufzeit Ihrer Akkus zu erhalten, verwenden Sie den Body-Trimmer alle 6 Monate
solange, bis die Akkus vollständig entladen sind. Laden Sie den Body-Trimmer dann für 14-16
Stunden.
BENUTZUNG
EINSTELLEN DER SCHNITTLÄNGE (Abbildung A)
Der Trimmerkamm bietet Einstellungen für 5 verschiedene Schnittlängen. Drehen Sie einfach
das Einstellrad auf die gewünschte Länge. Um eine kürzere Länge einzustellen, drehen Sie das
Einstellrad im Uhrzeigersinn. Für eine größere Länge drehen Sie es gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.
Das Rad rastet bei jeder Einstellung ein und die eingestellte Länge (Zahl) erscheint auf der
Längenanzeige.
