instructions carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging before use.
F IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1 This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach
of children under 8 years.
2 Always ensure the voltage to be used corresponds to the voltage stated on
the unit before plugging the appliance into the mains socket.
3 Warning: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other
vessels containing water.
4 When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use
since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the
appliance is switched o.
5 Do not wrap the cord around the unit. Check the cord regularly
for any sign damage.
6 If the supply cord of this unit becomes damaged, discontinue use
immediately and return the appliance to your nearest authorised Remington®
service dealer for repair or replacement in order to avoid a hazard.
7 Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions.
8 Do not allow any part of the appliance touch the face, neck or scalp.
9 Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
10 Only set the appliance down on a heat-proof surface.
11 Do not place the appliance on any soft furnishings.
12 Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
13 This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use.
14 Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing away.

F INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free.
2 For extra protection use a heat protection spray.
,Hairsprays contain ammable material – do not use while using this
product.
3 Select your attachment before you turn on the appliance.
,To Secure Attachments to the Handle
4 Ensure the locking ring is in the unlocked position, ready to insert the
attachment.
5 Locate the pins on the attachment holes on the handle (g. 1).

6 Firmly push together.
7 Turn the locking ring anti-clockwise to secure the handle and the
attachment together (g. 2).
8 Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers rst.
9 Plug the product into the mains power supply. Slide the temperature
control switch to the right once to position ‘I’ to turn on.
10 Start styling on lower temperatures rst. Select the appropriate
temperature for your hair type using the controls on the top of the styler.
11 To increase the temperature slide the temperature control switch to
position ‘II’ for medium heat and position ‘III’ for high heat.

reached.
,Cute Curls with the Conical Wand Attachment
12 Use the conical wand attachment to create cute curls.

13 Use the heat resistant glove to avoid any accidental burns.
14 Hold the handle and wrap a section of hair around the heated barrel.
15 Wait about 10 seconds for curl to form.
16 Unwind the hair and release the curl.
17 Allow the hair to cool before styling.
18 Repeat this around the head to create as many curls as desired.
,Volume and Shape with the Hot Brush Attachment
19 Use the 38mm hot brush attachment to add volume and to create
polished ends, ick outs or loose curls.
,Loose Curls
20 Take a section of hair and place the ends around the brush.
21 Rotate the styler allowing the hair to wrap around the barrel of the brush
and styling as you go.
22 Hold the styler in the hair for about 10-20 seconds then unwind the hair by
rotating the styler in the opposite direction.
,Polished Ends and Flick Outs
23 Take a section of hair and wrap the end around the barrel of the brush,
either wrapping under for polished ends or outwards for ick outs, shaping
the hair around the barrel.
,Root Volume
24 Section your top layer of hair and lift it up.
25 Hold the hot brush underneath the top section at the roots and bend the
hair around it.
,Beautiful Bouncy Curls with the 19mm Tong Attachment
26 Use the 19mm tong attachment for bouncy curls.
27 Place a section of hair under the tong clip (smaller sections create tighter
curls - larger sections create large curls or waves).
28 Turn the styler to roll the hair around the barrel.
29 Wait about 10 seconds for curl to form.
30 Unwind the tong and release the curl.
31 Repeat this around the head to create as many curls as desired.
32 Allow the hair to cool before styling.
33 Let the attachments cool before removing.
,To Remove Attachments
34 To remove the attachment, turn the locking ring clockwise to the
unlocked position and pull the attachment away from the handle.

35 After use, turn the appliance o by sliding the temperature control switch
to far left and ‘0’ position and unplug.
36 Let the appliance cool before cleaning and storing away.
C CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•Unplug the appliance and allow to cool.
•Wipe all the surfaces with a damp cloth.
•Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
