Dear customer,
You have recently become the owner of a quality patio cover from RENSON®Sunprotection-Screens.
We congratulate you on your wise choice.
All the materials we use are top quality and suitable for their purpose. As a manufacturer of sunprotection
screens, we guarantee our products for two years against any defects occurring during normal use and
maintenance.
Because RENSON®Sunprotection-Screens places great importance on the quality of its products and on
providing maximum satisfaction for our customers and end-users, we have drawn up special operating and
maintenance instructions.
1 • Function
Azore is a Terrace covering with a horizontal sunprotection roof system, with rotating aluminium blades
which permits the regulation of both sunprotection and ventilation. The possible construction situations and
construction types of the Algarve are stand-alone, fitted to an outside wall or as a coupled construction.

Sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie haben soeben einen Qualitätssonnenschutz von RENSON®Sunprotection-Screens erworben,
und wir gratulieren Ihnen zu Ihrer Wahl.
Alle von uns eingesetzten Materialien sind von hoher Qualität und auf den Verwendungszweck
abgestimmt. Als Hersteller von Sonnenschutz gewähren wir eine Garantie von zwei Jahren auf alle Mängel,
die bei normaler Verwendung und normaler Wartung bzw. Pflege auftreten können.
Da RENSON®Sunprotection-Screens der Qualität ihres Sonnenschutzes große Bedeutung beimisst, und um
eine möglichst große Zufriedenheit unserer Kunden und Endverbraucher zu erreichen, haben wir spezifi-
sche Bedienungs- und Wartungsvorschriften ausgearbeitet.
1 • Funktion
Azore ist eine Terrassenüberdachung mit horizontalem Sonnenschutz. Sonnenschutz und Lüftung lassen
sich mithilfe drehbarer Aluminiumlamellen steuern. Verfügbar Freistehend, als Fassadenmontage oder als
gekoppelte Konstruktion.

2 • Garantie
Alle von RENSON®Sunprotection-Screens eingesetzten Materialien sind von hoher Qualität und auf den
Verwendungszweck abgestimmt.
Als Hersteller gewährt RENSON®Sunprotection-Screens eine Garantie von zwei Jahren auf alle Mängel,
die bei normaler Verwendung in Privathaushalten sowie bei regelmäßiger Wartung und Pflege auftreten
können.
Die Garantie umfasst die Lieferung von Ersatzteilen, die vor Ort durch den Installateur of eindklant zu
montieren sind.
Die Montagekosten (Fahrtkosten und Stundenlohn) fallen nicht unter diese Garantie.
Die Garantiezeit beginnt mit dem Rechnungsdatum und bezieht sich ausschließlich auf das eigentliche
Produkt, nicht auf seine Montage. Die Originalrechnung gilt als Garantieschein.
Die Garantie gilt nur, wenn das Produkt vom Käufer „als gutem Hausvater“ und gemäß den Vorschriften in
dieser Anleitung verwendet sowie gewartet und gepflegt wird. Bei verkehrter oder abnormer Verwendung
erlischt die Garantie.
Die Garantie gilt nicht für Lackierungen, Verfärbungen, Verformung von Teilen, wenn diese die normale
Funktion von Azore nicht beeinträchtigen.
Die Garantie bietet kein Recht auf eine Schadensersatz oder Ersatz von Folgeschäden und deckt keine
eventuelle Körperverletzung.
2 • Guarantee
All materials used by RENSON®Sunprotection-Screens are top quality and suitable for their purpose. As a
manufacturer, RENSON®Sunprotection-Screens guarantees its products for two years against any defects
occurring during normal domestic use and regular maintenance.
The guarantee includes the supply of replacement parts, fitting on site by the installer of eindklant.
Fitting costs (travel + hourly rate) are not covered by this guarantee.
The guarantee period starts from the date of invoice and covers only the actual product, not its installation.
The original invoice is regarded as the proof of guarantee.
The guarantee remains valid only if the product is used and maintained by the purchaser “as a good
keeper” and in accordance with the instructions in this manual. Incorrect or abnormal use will void the
guarantee.
The warranty does not apply to powdercoating, discolouration or deformation of components, insofar as
these do not impede the normal functioning of Azore.
The warranty provides no right to any compensation or reimbursement for consequential damages and does
not cover any incidental physical injuries.

3 • Wind class
In accordance with the quality of the product, Azore with closed blades can withstand wind speeds of 120
km/h (>11 BFT).
Note: wind categories are indicated here in accordance with the standard DIN 13561:2014.

To maintain a stable construction, the blades of Azore should be closed at wind speeds higher than 50km/h.
Azore is to be installed only at ground level.
3 • Windklasse
Entsprechend der Qualität des Produkts kann Azore mit Lamellen in geschlossenem Zustand Windgeschwin-
digkeiten von 120 km/h (>11 Bft) widerstehen.
Zur Information hier die Windklassen laut Norm DIN 13561:2014.

Für eine stabilere Konstruktion müssen Sie die Lamellen von Azore bei Windgeschwindigkeiten über
50km/h schließen.
Azore wird nur im Erdgeschoss montiert.

4 • Usage conditions
Temperature
• Withstands normal ambient temperatures (up to -30°C).
• Do NOT operate sunprotection screen in frosty conditions.
Humidity
• Resistant to 100% moisture.
• Do not hose at high pressure.
Water
• The blade roof of Azore is water-resistant, not completely waterproof.
• Condensation can form on the bottom side of the blades.
• In heavy rain, water can seep in around the blades, frame and columns.
• An Azore is an open “outdoor” terrace covering and should not be confused with a (thermally) closed,
water- and windproof veranda.
Therefore, furniture, flooring, etc. must be suitable for outdoor use.
• The set-up, location, finishing, implementation, installation, etc. as well as extreme and exceptional
weather can have an (unforeseen) effect on the water resistance.
Snow
• The blades can withstand a snow load of 55 kg/m2.
• In case of heavy snowfall, the roof needs to be opened.
Wind
• With closed blades, the Azore can withstand wind speeds of 120 km/h.
• The blades should be closed at wind speeds > 50 km/h.
• Always remove the hand crank to avoid it causing injury to people, buildings or objects when windy.
Obstacles
• There should be no obstacles during the rotation of the blades, of e.g. branches, cables, etc.
• Never let your children play near moving blades.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE APPENDED INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR SAFETY. KEEP
THEM IN A SAFE PLACE.
4 • Benutzungsbedingungen
Temperatur
• Verträgt die normalen Umgebungstemperaturen (Bis-30°)
• Den Sonnenschutz NICHT bei Frost betätigen
Feuchtigkeit
• Beständig gegen 100 % Feuchtigkeit.
• NICHT mit hohem Druck abspritzen
Wasserdichtigkeit
• Die Überdachung und die Lamellen von Azore sind wasserabweisend, nicht vollständig wasserdicht.
• An der Unterseite der Lamellen kann sich Kondenswasser bilden.
• Bei starkem Regen kann Wasser entlang den Lamellen, dem Rahmen und den Pfosten eindringen.
• Eine Azore ist eine offene ‚Outdoor’-Terrassenüberdachung. Sie ist nicht zu verwechseln mit einem (ther-
misch) geschlossenen, wasser- und winddichten Wintergarten. Mobiliar, Boden usw. müssen daher für
die Verwendung im Außenbereich geeignet sein.
• Die Installation, Anordnung, Verarbeitung, Ausführung und Montage können ebenso wie extreme und
außergewöhnliche Witterungsbedingungen (einen nicht vorhersehbaren) Einfluss auf die Wasserdichtheit
haben.
Schnee
• Die Lamellen können eine Schneelast von 55 kg/m2standhalten.
• Bei starken Schneefall muß das Dach geöffnet sein.
Wind
• Mit geschlossenen Lamellen hält Azore Windgeschwindigkeiten bis zu 120 km/h aus.
• Die Lamellen müssen bei Windgeschwindigkeiten > 50 km/h geschlossen sein.
• Entfernen Sie immer die Drehstange, um zu vermeiden, dass sie aufgrund des Windes Personen verletzt
oder Gebäude bzw. Gegenstände beschädigt.
Hindernisse
• Wenn die Drehung des Lamellen durch keinerlei Hindernisse behindert werden, z.g. Zweige, Kabel, usw.
• Lassen Sie Ihre Kinder ni in der Nähe von bewegenden Lamellen spielen.
