Key Instructions
• he same unit works for GE Simon X & GE Simon X i.
• RE926S mounts inside the GE Simon X panel and communicates with the
GE Simon X and GE Simon X i via the Expansion Connector.
• Contains RF Module label – must be affixed to exterior of panel enclosure.
Operation
Event Reporting:
Events are reported to both the CMS monitoring receiver and the
SiteControl interactive server. All events use Contact ID reporting codes.
he following events are reported by default:
Alarms
Alarm cancels
Openings
Closings
System Low Battery
System Low Battery Restoral
AC Power Fail
AC Power Restoral
Interactive Control:
he system may be controlled remotely through the SiteControl interactive
platform.
Z-Wave
Z-Wave devices can be controlled via the Interactive function.
Siren (RE116-C)
Can be used with a Simon X
Future: Simon XTi
Revert to Factory Default Button
Press and hold for 5 seconds: Resets the board and keeps all settings
Press and hold for 10 seconds: Reverts board back to the factory default settings

Programming:
1) Refer to server setup instructions and set up the account on the Site Control
Dealer Portal.
2) Disarm the system.
3) Power down the GE Simon X system.
4) Plug RE926S into the back of the GE Simon X control panel. (Picture below)
board communicates via the Expansion Connector.
5) Apply power to the GE Simon X system.
6) WiFi Protected Setup Connection to Router:
a) Connection to Primary router:

Press & release Communicator's WPS button: WiFi LED flashes slowly
◦
Press & release Primary Router's WPS button.
◦
WiFi LED is steady when fully connected to Primary Router.
b) Connection to Backup router:
◦
Press & hold Communicator's WPS button: WiFi LED flashes rapidly
◦
Press & release Primary Router's WPS button.
◦
WiFi LED is steady when fully connected to Backup Router
7) he keypad should display “Resolution WiFi Module”.
8) Installation is complete.

• Verify you have a router that is compatible with the communication board
• Is the router you are using a modem/router combo?
- Get a known compatible WiFi router
- Consult the I administrator, home owner, or your routers
manual for configuring the router for this application
