Key Instructions
•Mount at 7.5 oot height (standard 40 pound lens) or optimum per ormance
between: Catch per ormance, Pet Immunity and False Alarm prevention.
•Sensitivity Jumper to Normal or less sensitivity; High or more sensitivity.
•LED Walk Test
Press Tamper or 3 minute walk test:
•LED lights when motion sensed, AND
•Wireless transmissions sent or each detection.
Normal Operation:
•PIR stops (locks out) transmitting wireless sensor
•alarms for 3 minutes after sending an alarm
transmission. This is to conserve battery li e.
•Enrolling:
Enter Wireless Enrollment Mode in DSC Panel.
Press tamper switch or enrollment in DSC panel.
Con irm ESN, Enter Zone # and Zone Type on DSC panel.
•Make sure bug / insulation foam is installed.
•Testing or enrollment in panel:
Put panel in desired test or operation mode.
Wait or 3 minutes or PIR’s 3 minute lockout to clear.
Walk in ront o PIR.
Operation
•PIR sensing element produces pulses.
•PIR sends wireless transmission a ter 2 or 3 (select via jumper) pulses.
•Tamper, when cover is opened.
•Supervisories, every hour.
