Ozone Sanitizer and Deodorizer. The Purify O3 Elite utilizes ozone technology
to sanitize and eliminate odors quickly and eectively without water, soap or
added chemicals. With proper use, the Purify O3 Elite Sanitizer is proven to
eectively kill 99.99% of germs and bacteria.

PRIOR TO USE:
Prior to use, please ensure:
• Electrical devices are turned OFF
• All water is emptied from the CPAP/BiPAP humidication chamber
• Visible residue on masks, nasal pillows or accessories is wiped clean using a
cleansing wipe or damp cloth
• Accessories to be sanitized are disconnected/removed from the device
For optimal sanitation, place both the Purify O3 Elite and the accessories inside
the sanitizing/travel case and zip closed. A plastic storage tote (12 qts or less)
with tight tting lid may also be used in place of the zippered sanitizing case to
disinfect a CPAP/BiPAP humidication chamber and/or mask/tubing assembly.
Always use the Purify O3 Elite sanitizer in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing
in or ingesting ozone release. Allow Purify O3 Elite to sit for 90 minutes
following disinfection cycle to allow for residual ozone to dissipate.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
For health and safety reasons, do not use your equipment for at least 90
minutes after sanitizing to allow the residual ozone to dissipate back to
oxygen.
Ensure the Purify O3 Elite is operated in a well ventilated area. Do not
breathe or ingest the ozone release during/after operation.
Warranty is VOID if repairs/modications to the device are made by
unauthorized persons. To obtain service within the warranty period, please
contact the retailer where unit was purchased.
Purify O3 Elite is intended for use to sanitize and deoderize parts and
accessories. Please refer to your machine’s user manual for guidance on
cleaning and disinfection of PAP and nebulizer machines.
LIMITED WARRANTY:
The Purify O3 Elite Series sanitizer is covered by a limited warranty for a period
of two (2) years from date of purchase and covers defects in the product
resulting from faults in the material or workmanship. Damage due to improper
use, misuse or normal wear is not covered.

Warranty service and/or replacement is at the discretion of Responsive
Respiratory. For warranty requests, please contact your retailer or health care
dealer where Purify O3 Elite was purchased.

CHARGING THE BATTERY:
The Purify O3 Elite sanitizer contains a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. For
best performance and battery life, run the sanitizer 4-5 disinfection cycles or
until the battery is fully drained before recharging. Please ensure the sanitizer is
powered o while charging.
To charge the battery, connect the USB cable to the charging adapter. Plug
the USB cable into the charging port on the side of the sanitizer as shown in
Figure 1 below. Then plug the charging adapter into an electrical outlet. During
the charging process, the Battery Life Indicator will illuminate with a series of
blinking white indicator lights. When the Purify O3 Elite is fully charged, the
Battery Life Indicator lights will change to solid white.
Charging time averages 2-3 hours and may vary depending on the battery’s
remaining capacity. If the sanitizer stops working during use after a full charge,
the battery may have reached the end of its serviceable life.
LOW POWER WARNING:
When low battery levels are reached, the Purify O3 Elite will alert the user with
both visual and auditory alerts. The Battery Life Indicator lights will blink rapidly
and a long buzz will sound. If in use, the sanitizer will attempt to continue
sanitizing for the remainder of the available battery life. It is recommended to
charge the sanitizer as soon as possible after the low power warning.

SANITIZING & DEODERIZING MASKS, TUBING & PARTS:
1. Disconnect masks, tubing, Tees and accessories from machine.
2. Using a cleansing wipe or damp, clean cloth, lightly surface clean mask,
nasal pillow or other surfaces of visible residue.
3. Place Purify O3 Elite sanitizer and accessories to be sanitized/deodorized
inside the supplied sanitizing/travel case. (For best results, connect
CPAP tubing directly to the Purify O3 Elite as shown in Figure 2.) If the
accessories are too large for the sanitizing case, a medium-sized storage
container with tightly tting lid (12 qts or less) may be used, refer to
Figure 3 below.
NOTE: Purify O3 Elite is intended for use to sanitize and deodorize accessory
items only. Please refer to your user manual for guidance on cleaning
and disinfection of the PAP or nebulizer machine.
WARNING:
Operate only in a well ventilated area.

4. To activate the Purify O3 Elite, place and hold nger on the On/O
Touch Sensor for 2 seconds as shown in Figure 4. The Purify O3 Elite will
beep once and the Disinfection Progress Ring shown in Figure 5 will
illuminate to indicate the disinfection process has begun. The Battery
Life Indicator will also light to show the estimated battery life remaining.
NOTE: The On/O Touch Sensor is activated by covering the button - it will not
depress if pushed.
5. Zip case fully closed (or secure lid, if utilizing container). The sanitizing/
deodorizing cycle for Purify O3 Elite is approximately 35 minutes in
length. During the cycle, the Progress Indicator Ring will darken to
indicate when the cycle is one fourth, halfway, and three-fourths
complete as shown in Figure 6. At the conclusion of disinfection, the
sanitizer will beep once and power o.
The sanitizer and accessories must remain in the closed case/container
for an additional 90 minutes to allow the residual ozone to dissipate.
Before use, run your PAP or nebulizer machine for 20-60 seconds with
mask and tubing attached to ush fresh air through accessories.
Your masks, tubing, Tees and accessories may be sanitized daily, as
desired.

NOTE: To stop the sanitation process mid-cycle, place nger on the On/O
Touch Sensor for 4 seconds. The sanitizer will signal the cancellation
with a long beep and power o. Reseal case/container and let sanitizer
and accessories sit in closed case/container for at least 90 minutes to
allow residual ozone to dissipate before use. Stopping a sanitizing cycle
before completion is not recommended.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use your mask, tubing or accessories for
at least 90 minutes after sanitation is complete to
allow remaining ozone to dissipate.

SANITIZING CPAP/BIPAP HUMIDIFICATION
CHAMBER & TUBING :
1. Ensure CPAP/BiPAP machine is turned o.
2. Empty water from humidication chamber.
3. Place humidication chamber and/or tubing inside the supplied
sanitizing/travel case. If the tubing and humidication chamber are too
large for the sanitizing case, a medium-sized storage container with
tightly tting lid (12 qts or less) may be used, refer to Figure 7 below.
NOTE: Purify O3 Elite is intended for use to sanitize CPAP/BiPAP accessories.
Please refer to your CPAP/BiPAP machine’s user manual for guidance on
cleaning and disinfection of the PAP machine.
4. To activate the Purify O3 Elite, place and hold nger on the On/O
Touch Sensor for 2 seconds as shown in Figure 8. The Purify O3 Elite will
beep once and the Disinfection Progress Ring shown in Figure 9 will

5. Zip case fully closed (or secure lid, if utilizing container). The sanitizing

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
The disinfection process leaves an odor:
- Before using, run your CPAP/BiPAP or nebulizer machine for 20-60 seconds to
allow any residual odor to ush from the device.
- Run the Purify O3 Elite disinfection cycle earlier in the day to allow time for
the residual odor to dissipate before use.
Charging indicator light does not turn on:
- Check the charging adapter and wire connection. Ensure battery has been
charged for at least one hour.
Purify O3 Elite does not turn on after charging:
- Ensure the On/O Touch Sensor is fully covered for 2 full seconds to power on.
- Connect the Purify O3 Elite to the charger and plug into an electrical outlet.
Cover the On/O Touch Sensor for 2 seconds to power on. Disconnect from
outlet and use as normal.
Battery is fully charged but Purify O3 Elite sanitizer is not working:
- Contact the retailer where sanitizer was purchased for warranty evaluation.
The Purify O3 Elite stops functioning:
- Battery may be depleted. Connect charger to sanitizer and plug into electrical
outlet to charge.
Purify O3 Elite stops during use after a full charge:
- Battery may have reached the end of its serviceable life. Charge sanitizer fully
and attempt to run a complete sanitizing cycle.
- If the problem persists and sanitizer is less than 2 years from date of purchase,
contact the retailer the sanitizer was purchased from for warranty evaluation.
If over 2 years from purchase, dispose of the product per electronic recycling
guidelines in your area.
Purify O3 Elite does not power o automatically after the sanitation cycle:
- Power the sanitizer o by covering the On/O Touch Sensor for 4 seconds.
- If the problem persists and sanitizer is less than 2 years from date of purchase,
contact the retailer the sanitizer was purchased from for warranty evaluation.
If over 2 years from purchase, dispose of the product per electronic recycling
guidelines in your area.
No ozone is generated:
- Verify the sanitizer has adequate battery life. Connect charger to sanitizer and
plug into electrical outlet. Power sanitizer on and conrm fan is working. If fan
is inoperable, contact the retailer where sanitizer was purchased for warranty
evaluation.
Sanitizing multiple accessories / components in one cycle:
- A medium-sized storage container with lid (12 qts or less) may be used to
sanitize masks, tubing and water humidication chamber in one cycle to
save time.
- Follow sanitizing directions as listed in instruction section of this booklet.
Sanitizing CPAP/BiPAP or nebulizer machines:
- Purify O3 Elite is intended for use to sanitize equipment and accessories only.
- Please refer to your CPAP/BiPAP or nebulizer machine’s user manual for
guidance on cleaning and disinfection of the PAP machine.

ANTES DE USAR:

CARGANDO LA BATERÍA:
La unidad desinfectadora Purify O3 Elite contiene una batería de ión-litio
recargable. Antes de recargar la batería, para un mejor rendimiento y vida útil
de la batería, use el desinfectante 4-5 ciclos de desinfección, o hasta que la
batería esté completamente descargada. Asegúrese de que el desinfectante
esté apagado mientras se carga.
Para cargar la batería, conecte el cable USB al adaptador de carga. Conecte
el cable a la entrada del USB a un lado de la unidad como muestra la Figura 1
debajo. Luego, conecte el adaptador de carga a una toma de corriente. Durante
el proceso de carga, el indicador de duración de la batería se iluminará con
una serie de luces indicadoras blancas parpadeantes. Cuando el Purify O3 Elite
está completamente cargado, las luces indicadoras de duración de la batería
cambiarán a blanco sólido.
El tiempo promedio de carga es de 2-3 horas y puede variar dependiendo en
la capacidad restante en la batería. Si la unidad deja de funcionar mientras
está en uso depués de haber cargado completamente la batería, puede haber
llegado al n de su vida útil.
ADVERTENCIA DE BAJA POTENCIA:
Cuando se alcanzan niveles bajos de batería, Purify O3 Elite alertará al usuario
con alertas visuales y auditivas. Las luces indicadoras de duración de la batería
parpadearán rápidamente y sonará un sonido prolongado. Si está en uso, el
desinfectante intentará continuar desinfectando por el resto de la vida útil de

DESINFECCIÓN MÁSCARA/TUBERÍA CPAP/BiPAP:
1. Desconecte la máscara y la tuberia del máquina CPAP/BiPAP.
2. Usando una toallita de limpieza o un paño húmedo, limpie ligeramente
la máscara/ almohadilla nasal de cualquier residuo.
3. Coloque la máscara, el tubo y el desinfectante Purify O3 Elite dentro
del estuche de desinfección / viaje suministrado. (Para obtener los
mejores resultados, conecte el tubo directamente al Purify O3 Elite
como se muestra en la Figura 2.) Si el conjunto del tubo y la máscara
es demasiado grande para la caja de desinfección, un contenedor de
almacenamiento tamaño mediano con tapa sólida (12 cuartos o menos)
puede usarse, consulte la Figura 3 a continuación. Para el saneamiento
solo con máscara, coloque la máscara y Purify O3 Elite dentro de la caja

4. Para activar el Purify O3 Elite, coloque y mantenga el dedo en el sensor
táctil de encendido/apagado durante 2 segundos como se muestra en la
Figura 4. El Purify O3 Elite emitirá un pitido una vez y el anillo de progreso
de desinfección que se muestra en la Figura 5 se iluminará para indicar
el proceso de desinfección ha comenzado. El indicador de duración de la
batería también se iluminará para mostrar la duración restante estimada
de la batería.
NOTA: El sensor táctil de encendido / apagado se activa al cubrir el botón; no se
presionará si se presiona.
5. Cierre la estuche completamente cerrada (o asegure la tapa, si
utiliza contenedor). El ciclo de desinfección para Purify O3 Elite es de
aproximadamente 35 minutos de duración. Durante el ciclo, el Anillo
indicador de progreso se oscurecerá para indicar cuándo el ciclo está
completo en un cuarto, a la mitad y en tres cuartos, como se muestra en
la Figura 6. Al nalizar la desinfección, el desinfectante emitirá un sonido
y se apagará.
El desinfectante y los accesorios deben permanecer en la caja/recipiente
cerrado durante 90 minutos adicionales para permitir que el ozono
residual se disipe. Antes de usar, ejecute su máquina PAP durante 20-60

IMPORTANTE:
No use la máquina CPAP/BiPAP
hasta por lo menos 90 minutos después de que
el proceso de desinfección haya terminado para
permitir que el residuo de ozono se disipe.
NOTA: Para detener el proceso de saneamiento a mitad del ciclo, coloque el
dedo en el sensor táctil de encendido/apagado durante 4 segundos.
El desinfectante indicará la cancelación con un pitido largo y apagado.
Vuelva a sellar la caja/recipiente y deje que el desinfectante y los
accesorios se asienten en la caja/recipiente cerrado durante al menos 90
minutos para permitir que el ozono residual se disipe antes de usar. No
se recomienda detener un ciclo de desinfección antes de completarlo.

DESINFECCIÓN DE CÁMARA DE
HUMIDIFICACIÓN Y TUBERÍA CPAP/BIPAP:
1. Asegúrese que la máquina CPAP/BiPAP esté apagada y desconectada.
2. Vacíe el agua de la cámara de humidicación.
3. Coloque la cámara y/o tubo de humidicación dentro del estuche de
desinfección/viaje suministrado. Si el tubo y la cámara de humidicación
son demasiado grandes para la caja de desinfección, se puede usar un
recipiente de almacenamiento de tamaño mediano con tapa sólida (12
cuartos o menos), consulte la Figura 7 a continuación.
NOTA: Purify O3 Elite está diseñado para desinfectar los accesorios CPAP/BiPAP.
Consulte el manual de usuario de su máquina CPAP/BiPAP para obtener
orientación sobre la limpieza y desinfección de la máquina PAP.
4. Para activar el Purify O3 Elite, coloque y mantenga el dedo en el sensor
táctil de encendido/apagado durante 2 segundos como se muestra
en la Figura 8. El Purify O3 Elite emitirá un pitido una vez y el anillo de
progreso de desinfección que se muestra en la Figura 9 se iluminará
para indicar que El proceso de desinfección ha comenzado. El indicador
de duración de la batería también se iluminará para mostrar la duración
restante estimada de la batería.
NOTA: El sensor táctil de encendido/apagado se activa al cubrir el botón; no se
presionará si se presiona.
