Indications for Use:
Provides stability and support for the knee.
Instructions for Use:
Please read all of the instructions before use. Use as directed by your clinician.
Always follow your facility protocol for skin care.
STEP 1: Loosen the straps from the buckles and place the knee brace so that the
hinge aligns with the center of the knee (Fig A).
STEP 2: Beginning at the top buckle, loosely thread each strap through the front
D-ring, keeping the hinge aligned with the knee (Fig B).
STEP 3: Continue working down the knee brace, loosely threading all four of the
straps (Fig C).
STEP 4: With the knee bent, tighten each strap so that the brace is snug and does
not slide or shift (Fig D).

Cleaning Instructions:
ONLY hand wash the brace. Hand wash the liner and straps with mild detergent
and let air dry.

Recommended Wear Time:
Apply the brace initiallyfor 30 minutes. Remove and checkskin for redness
or breakdown. If skin integrityis compromised, discontinue use andcontact
your health professional. Otherwise, gradually increase wearing times to the
duration recommended by yourclinicianto no more than6hours at a time.
Restorative Medical’s weartimes are suggested andshouldbe discussed with
your health professional.
Cautions:
HINGE ADJUSTMENT
If your doctor or medical professional recommends limiting the range of
motion of your knee, this hinge can be adjusted to accommodate any
restrictions.
1) Open the cover to the hinge.
2) Adjust the pins to the desired degree of flexion or extension.
3) Close the cover to the hinge.
