Warnings
Always use factory ttings added by the manufacturer whenever possible.
When using the vehicle manufacturer’s threaded oor ttings, it is important that all
full threads be engaged to obtain maximum strength of the anchor point.
Seatbelts should NEVER be attached to the seat unless the vehicle manufacturer
specically designed the seats and seat mounting systems to withstand seatbelt
assembly loads.
When drilling, make sure you don’t drill through the fuel lines, exhaust system, gas
tank, brake lines, or electrical wiring.
Be certain that the area you plan to install your anchor mount to is strong enough
before installing your anchor point.
Always reinforce the anchor points to ensure the safety of the driver and passengers.
Some installations may require modication to the chassis, frame, or interior to
allow for safe installation of an anchor point. This should only be attempted by a
professional installer.
If you are reusing existing anchor points, make sure you inspect them for cracks, rust,
or other weaknesses. Do not reuse them if they are damaged in any way.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
Standard Installation Overview
This type of installation is for replacing an existing seatbelt kit. If your
vehicle is not equipped with a lap and shoulder system but already
has a lap-belt system, you can use the existing lap-belt anchor
points, but you will have to add the third anchor point. See the
retrot installation guidelines on page 7 for information on how to
create the shoulder anchor point.
Standard Installation Guidelines
1. To get started, remove the existing seatbelts and all hardware.
2. Mount the retractor and end of the seatbelt to
the existing anchor point on the outer side of the
vehicle near the oor using a 7/16” hex bolt (must
be SAE Grade 5 or better) from your kit.
3. Install the shoulder anchor point into the existing anchor
mount using the bolt included, and tighten down.
4. Mount the female push-button receiver to the existing
anchor points on the inner side of the vehicle near the oor.
5. Once the installation is complete, make sure the
webbing and webbing guide from the retractor unit
is unobstructed and free of tangles or kinks. Double-
check all of the mounting points, and apply rust
protection or undercoating to the mounting point bolts
and metal hardware to ensure continued safety.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
Retrot Installation Overview
If your vehicle originally was not equipped with seatbelts or only
came with lap belts, you will need to create anchor points. This
information is only to be used as a guide, and retrotting should only
be performed by qualied professionals to ensure a safe installation.
First you’ll need to determine if your installation is a complete retrot
(no original seatbelts installed) or if you will be replacing existing lap
belts and reusing some of the existing anchor points. Always use
existing anchor points wherever you can. If you need to create new
anchor points, make sure you check behind the area you will be
drilling for clearance for the bolt and anchor mount.
NOTE: When drilling, be careful not to accidentally drill into the fuel
lines, exhaust system, gas tank, brake lines, etc.
Retrot Installation Guidelines
1. Place the belts into position without installing any hardware to
check for placement. See Figure 2 for recommended angles
and placement.
2. Once you have chosen your anchor-point locations, double-
check that they are solid and that you have access behind
them. Then, line up the retractor and shoulder guides to
the desired position for placement. Make sure that nothing
interferes with the seatbelt webbing. The retractor must have
unobstructed operation to ensure safety and proper function.
3. Make templates out of cardboard to help you line up the
location for the retractor and shoulder guide anchor points.
Weld the shoulder anchor mount in place directly to the frame
or B pillar for proper tment. Then drill your mounting hole. Use a
center punch to start the hole, then progress to a small drill bit to
begin drilling the hole. Then, use a larger bit to make a hold for
the hex bolt to t through. For the oor mounts, always use place
the anchor mount beneath the oorpan.

4. Mount the retractor and end of the seatbelt to the existing
anchor point on the outer side of the vehicle near the oor using
a 7/16” hex bolt (must be SAE Grade 5 or better) from your kit.
5. Install the shoulder anchor point to the existing anchor mount
(or by installing a new anchor point using the same method
as before), using the bolt included and tighten down.
6. Once the retractor and shoulder guides are in place, mount the
female push-button receiver to the existing anchor points on the
inner side of the vehicle near the oor.
7. Once the installation is complete, make sure the webbing and
webbing guide from the retractor unit is unobstructed and free
of tangles or kinks. Double-check all of the mounting points,
and apply rust protection or undercoating to the mounting
point bolts and metal hardware to ensure continued safety.

USE AND MAINTENANCE
Always wear your seatbelt. If you need information on how to use your seatbelt
safely, visit www.nhtsa.gov.
Adjust and wear the lap belt portion low and tight across your hips.
Each seatbelt is intended to restrain only one person at a time.
Never attempt to restrain a child in your lap by using the lap and shoulder retractable
seatbelt around both you and the child. The child could be severely injured or killed
in the event of an accident. Check with your state for local laws regarding the use of
seatbelts and small children.
Do not us this seatbelt or parts of this seatbelt kit with other types of seatbelts. Doing
so may result in serious injury or death in the event of an accident.
WARNING: FAILURE TO PROPERLY INSTALL, USE, PERIODICALLY
INSPECT AND MAINTAIN THIS SEATBELT COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH.
Maintenance
Inspect the seatbelt and retractor assembly regularly. If the assembly does not work
properly or if the seatbelt has cuts, frayed or worn webbing, it must be replaced.
More frequent inspections may be necessary if the seatbelt is subjected to harsh
treatment or extreme conditions.
Whenever a vehicle is involved in a collision you must replace every part of the
seatbelt kit including the mounting hardware.
Clean seatbelts with mild soap and water. NEVER bleach or re-dye the seatbelts.
Doing so will severely weaken the webbing.
Exposure to the elements will weaken the webbing on your seatbelts, reducing the
effective safety feature by more than 50%. Inspect your seatbelts regularly.
Caution
Death or serious injury could result from not properly threading the webbing through
the adjustable ends. Maintain a minimum of one inch of webbing beyond the anchor.
If the xed end of a seatbelt is too long to allow a snug t on a small occupant, do not
use the belt. Children weighing less than 80 lbs should only be secured in an approved
child safety or booster seat according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
