SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read the full manual’s safety instructions
to ensure the safe operation of Airrex heaters.
Follow the instructions to avoid the risk of injury or death and protect the heater and other property from damage.
The safety instructions include two dierent concepts (signal words): “warning” and “caution”.

Keep these instructions near the device and available to all users.
If a power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
immediately by a repair shop authorised by the
manufacturer or importer or other service shop
authorised to carry out electrical repairs.
If the plug is dirty, clean it thoroughly before you
plug it in a socket. Dirty plugs can cause a short
circuit, leading to smoke and/or a fire.
Unplug the heater before cleaning and mainte-
nance, and allow ample time for it to cool down.
Disregarding these instructions may result in
burns or electric shock.
Always seat the plug firmly to avoid electric
shocks.
If the heater is not used for a long time, unplug it.
During thunderstorms, turn o power from the
heater and unplug it.
The heater must be kept indoors in a dry place.
Never keep the heater in a hot or especially
humid place. Corrosion due to humidity may lead
to malfunctions.
If the heater is not used for a long time, pour in
diesel additive to avoid blockages in the fuel
system.
This device may only be plugged into an
earthed socket.
This heater may not be used in living spaces.
Never use an extension cord to extend the power
cord or a socket. A poor connection may cause a
short circuit, electric shock or fire.
Keep water away from the heater and only handle
the power cord with dry hands. Water can cause a
short circuit and a fire or death. This device may not
be used in bathrooms or similar spaces.
Never use or keep containers of flammable fluids,
including aerosols, near the heater due to the risk of
ignition and/or explosion.
The heater must not be stopped by cutting
o the power or unplugging the cord. Cutting
o the power during heating may result in a
malfunction or electric shock. Always use the
device’s power button or the ON/OFF button on the
remote.
Keep flammable materials such as curtains, rugs,
paper, and clothes away from the heater as they are
a fire hazard.
Never place clothes, plastic bags or other items on
the heater. This is a fire hazard.
Place the heater on a level solid surface. Tilting or
tipping the device may result in a malfunction or fire.
This heater uses oxygen – it may not be used in a
poorly ventilated room.
It’s the responsibility of the user to comply with the
local regulatIons.
