Safety Precautions
WARNING :
Use carefully. May cause serious burns. Do not use over sensitive skin areas
or in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of the Biomat by
children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
The Biomat is a medical device and should only be used by a competent
adult. Elderly people and people with mobility issues need to be supervised.
- Do not alter, change or disassemble the product. Doing so may cause the product to
malfunction and electric shock and re may occur.
- Make sure to use the proper voltage for your country. Improper voltage may cause electric shock,
re or damage to the product.
- Make sure the plug is rmly connected to the outlet before operating.
- If there is a power outage, turn off the power and disconnect the plug.
- If the Biomat
catches re or begins to smoke, turn off and unplug the device. Report the
problem to our Customer Service Center.
- Do not allow children near the Biomat
unsupervised. Loss of life or injury may occur if a
child wraps the power cord around their neck or trips and falls over the power cord.
Read and follow all instructions in this manual. Proper use of the Biomat
will prevent harm to the user and
damage to private property.
CAUTION :
Property damage, device malfunction, or injury may occur if the following
instructions are not followed properly. If you do not feel well when using the
Biomat, discontinue use and consult with a physician. Only use the Biomat
for heat therapy. If it is not functioning properly, discontinue use and contact
Customer Service.
- Do not modify or tamper with the Biomat.
- Do not jump, stand, or place heavy objects on the Biomat.
- Do not place the controller on the Biomat
when in use. Keep the controller away from the Biomat.
- Do not place the Biomat
on surfaces that are sensitive to temperature (i.e. leather).
- Do not cover the controller. Doing so may cause overheating of the controller.
- Do not secure the Biomat
with any metal products such as pins.
- Do not drop, throw or mishandle the Biomat
controller.
- Do not use the Biomat
with any ointments, or creams that generate heat. Doing so may cause burns
or injury to your skin.
- Do not use the Biomat
with any oils without the waterproof cover. Doing so may cause damage
to the Biomat.
- Do not operate the Biomat
near objects that generate heat (i.e. ventilation from heaters, stoves)
or magnetic elds (i.e.TV, magnetic objects).
- Do not step on or put heavy / sharp objects on the power cord, as the cord may be damaged.
Do not use if the power cord is damaged. Doing so increases the risk of electric shock or re.
- Low temperature burns can occur if using the Biomat for a prolonged period of time. Use with cau-
tion when the controller is set to 104° ~ 158°F (40° ~ 70°C). Check skin frequently. Stop using the
Biomat if burns or blisters occur.
- Do not lay directly on the Biomat. Always cover the Biomat
with the cotton pad provided with
the product to prevent burns.
- Do not connect the Biomat
to any other electronic device. This may cause injury, electric
shock or re.
- Do not use on sensitive skin or on areas where circulation is poor.
- Keep the Biomat
away from sharp objects. Do not allow anything to puncture the folds of
the Biomat.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Do not use the Biomat on infants and young children.
The Biomat is not indicated for the elderly and should consult with a physi-
cian prior to use.
Do not use the Biomat if you have any of the following conditions:
- Person with organ transplant
- Person with high fever
- Person with cognitive disability
- Person with skin problems i.e. insensitivity to temperature change
- Person with acute disease, acute tumor, external pacemaker, the visually impaired, and any heart
problems
If you have any of the following conditions, only use the Biomat
if directed
by a physician.
- Person with immobility
- Person with internal pacemaker/debrillator
- Person with Adrenal Suppression Disorders, Addison’s Disease, Adrenal Insufciency, Systematic
Lupus Erythematosus, and Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Person with bypass surgery
- Person with diabetes
- Person with high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Person who is pregnant
- Person who is sick
- Person who recently received radiation/chemotherapy
- Person with surgical or silicone implants
INDICATIONS FOR USE :
For use in adults over 18 years of age. The Biomat is indicated for the tempo-
rary relief of minor muscle and joint pain and stiffness; the temporary relief
of joint pain associated with arthritis; the temporary relief of muscle spasms,
minor sprains and strains, and minor muscular back pain; the relaxation of
muscles; and the temporary increase of local circulation where applied.
FDA has not evaluated the Biomat for use while sleeping.

Product installation
Checklist before product installation
• Do not use the product in areas with high humidity or signicant dust.
• Handle the Biomat
with care. Any physical impact such as dropping the Biomat
can damage internal
components.
• Check the voltage before turning on the Biomat.
▪ Voltage for the product: 120V
▪ Electric shock or damage to the Biomat
can result from improper voltage.
▪ The Biomat
and the controller must be the same voltage.
(i.e. 120V Biomat
+ 120V Controller / 220V Biomat
+ 220V Controller)
• Do not use the Biomat
if the plug, power cable, or power outlet has any damage. Always check for
cuts and scrapes to the power cable.
• Do not pull on the power cord or controller when unplugging the Biomat.
• Use a dedicated outlet when operating the Biomat. Problems may occur when sharing a power strip
with other devices.
Product installation
To operate the Biomat follow the steps below.
2. Connect the controller / power cable to the connection port of the Biomat. To ensure a secure
connection, there should be no space between the connector and the outlet on the mat.
The connection may be tight at rst.
NOTE: Use care when handling the controller / power cable to prevent accidental breakage. Do
not drop, stand on or place heavy objects on the controller / power cable. Never pull the
power cable to remove the plug from the receptacle, be sure to hold the plug.

3. Plug the controller / power cable into an outlet. Make sure the controller is rated for the same
voltage as the outlet.
1. Lay the Biomat on a at surface with the ridges facing up. Any uneven surface can damage the
Biomat. The Biomat can bend 90° to 138°.

How to use the product
Turning ON and OFF
The Mini Biomat
is designed for the purpose of covering the abdomen. It can also be utilized on areas
where muscle pain is experienced such as the shoulder or leg.
Mini
The Professional / Single Biomat
is designed for one-person use. The Queen / King Biomat
is designed for
two-person use. The left and right sides of the Queen / King Biomat
can be adjusted independently. The
temperature and usage time can be set independently to save energy.
Professional / Single / Queen / King
Recommended usage:
Use for 40-60 minutes per day at 149°F~158°F/ 65°C~70°C.
We recommend first time users to start at a low temperature and work your way up.
Always drink water before and after intensive hyperthermia treatment.
Check the following to make sure the Biomat
is operating properly.
2. If the light does not turn on, check for any plug/power system problems.
3. Press the temperature adjustment button to see if it is working properly. Contact our Customer
Service Center if the controller is not working properly.

E.M.F. Light
Please contact our Customer Service Center if the E.M.F. light does not turn on
when the power is connected.

Flashing
If the 158°F / 70°C LED light is ashing after turning on, check if the controller and
mat are properly connected. To ensure a secure connection, make sure there is no
space between the connecting points.
• The connection may be tight at rst.
• If the power does not turn on, unplug and re-connect the power plug again.
• If the power does not turn on, make sure the controller and outlet voltage are
the same.
If the power still does not turn on after using the methods stated above, please
contact our Customer Service Center.

Adjusting the product’s temperature
1. When the power is turned on, press the [Temperature Up / Down] button to set the desired temperature.
• Range of temperature:
Mini: 104° ~ 158°F / 40° ~ 70°C
Professional / Single / Queen / King: 95° ~ 158°F / 35° ~ 70°C
• Each time the temperature button is pressed, the temperature setting changes in increments
of 9°F / 5°C.
2. When adjusting the temperature, the indicator light will change color depending on the temperature
selected. Once selected, the Biomat will heat up to the proper temperature. If the button of the controller
is not working properly, please contact our Customer Service Center.
• Blue: 95° ~ 104°F (35° ~ 40°C)
• Green: 113° ~ 122°F (45° ~ 50°C)
• Yellow: 131° ~ 140°F (55° ~ 60°C)
• Orange: 149° ~ 158°F (65° ~ 70°C)
3. Once selected, the Biomat will heat to the proper temperature, and the EDNI light will begin to ash
(Professional / Single / Queen / King sizes only).
Always cover the Biomat with the cotton pad to prevent burns or injury to your skin.
To prolong the life of the Biomat, use the waterproof cover. Place the waterproof cover
over the cotton pad.
Caution
Adjusting the product’s operation time
If the timer is set for 8 or 12 hours at 131°F (55°C) or higher, the Biomat will automatically
decrease the temperature to 113°F (45°C) or below after 4 hours of use. When the set
time is reached, the power will turn off.
Safety
1. After setting the temperature, press the [Timer] button to set the desired operation time.
• Range of operation time: 2 / 4 / 8 / 12 hours
• Factory default setting: 8 hours
• The timer indication light will decrease according to the time lapsed.
2. Selected time will be indicated by a light next to it.
3. When the set time has lapsed, the Biomat will stop and the power is automatically turned off.
After using the product
- After using the Biomat, turn it off by pressing the Power button.
- When the power is turned off, unplug the Biomat
from the outlet.

How to clean and store the product
How to clean the product
When cleaning the Biomat, do not wash with water, submerge in water, or dry clean.
Doing so may cause electric shock or a short circuit.
When cleaning the Biomat, make sure to turn off the power and unplug it.
Caution
To separate the controller from the stand,
pull apart according to the instructions
shown in this picture.

How to store the product
When not in use, turn off the power and unplug the Biomat.
Before storing the Biomat, be sure to turn it off and wait until it has cooled down.
Store the Biomat lying at (not folded) and in a well-ventilated area.
If you must fold the Biomat, do so the same way as you received it. Folding it in the opposite direction
may cause the internal circuitry to break.
Unplug the controller from the Biomat and place it in a bag.
Do not expose the device to water, rain or extreme humidity. It may cause electric shock or re.

1. Unplug the Biomat before cleaning it. Use a vacuum to remove any dust on the surface and a soft
dry fabric to clean the controller.
2. We recommend wiping the clear window on the Biomatonce a month with a moist towel to
maintain good condition.
• Do not leave any moisture on the Biomat after cleaning the product.
• If the Biomat has any moisture or perspiration on it, use a dry towel to wipe it off.
3. Do not use any detergents, solvents, or ammable chemicals when cleaning the Biomatand
controller.
4. We recommend washing the cotton pad once a week. The cotton pad can be machine washed.

Trouble shooting guide
If the alarm light on the controller ashes while using the Biomat, stop using it immediately. Use the trouble
shooting guide to eliminate the problem. If recommended steps did not eliminate the problem and the
alarm light is still ashing, stop using the Biomat and contact Customer Service.
