Safety Precautions
WARNING :
Use carefully. May cause serious burns. Do not use over sensitive skin
areas or in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of the
BIO-BELT by children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous. The
BIO-BELT is a medical device and should only be used by a competent
adult. Elderly people and people with mobility issues need to be super-
vised.
- Do not alter, change or disassemble the product. Doing so may cause the product to
malfunction and electric shock and re may occur.
- Make sure to use the proper voltage for your country. Improper voltage may cause electric
shock, re or damage to the product.
- If there is a power outage, turn off the power and disconnect the plug.
- If the BIO-BELT catches re or begins to smoke, turn off and unplug the device. Report the problem
to our Customer Service Center.
- Do not allow children near the BIO-BELT unsupervised. Loss of life or injury may occur if a child
wraps the power cord around their neck or trips and falls over the power cord.
Read and follow all instructions in this manual. Proper use of the BIO-BELT will prevent harm to the user
and damage to private property.
CAUTION :
Property damage, device malfunction, or injury may occur if the following
instructions are not followed properly. If you do not feel well when using
the BIO-BELT, discontinue use and consult with a physician. Only use the
BIO-BELT for heat therapy. If it is not functioning properly, discontinue
use and contact Customer Service.
- Do not modify or tamper with the BIO-BELT.
- Do not jump, stand, or place heavy objects on the BIO-BELT.
- Do not place the controller on the BIO-BELT when in use. Keep the controller away from
the BIO-BELT.
- Do not place the BIO-BELT on surfaces that are sensitive to temperature (i.e. leather).
- Do not cover the controller. Doing so may cause overheating of the controller.
- Do not secure the BIO-BELT with any metal products such as pins.
- Do not drop, throw or mishandle the BIO-BELT controller.
- Do not use the BIO-BELT with any ointments, or creams that generate heat. Doing so may
cause burns or injury to your skin.
- Do not use the BIO-BELT with any oils without the waterproof cover. Doing so may cause
damage to the BIO-BELT.
- Do not operate the BIO-BELT near objects that generate heat (i.e. ventilation from heaters,
stoves) or magnetic elds (i.e.TV, magnetic objects).

- Do not use if the power cord is damaged.
- Low temperature burns can occur if using the BIO-BELT for a prolonged period of time. Use
with caution when the controller is set to 104° ~ 158°F (40° ~ 70°C). Stop using the BIO-BELT
if burns or blisters occur.
- Do not place the BIO-BELT directly on your skin. Place a towel in between the BIO-BELT and
your skin when operating to prevent burns.
- Do not connect the BIO-BELT to any other electronic device. This may cause injury, electric
shock or re.
- Do not use on sensitive skin or on areas where circulation is poor.
- Keep the BIO-BELT away from sharp objects. Do not allow anything to puncture the folds of
the BIO-BELT.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Do not use the BIO-BELT on infants and young children.
The BIO-BELT is not indicated for the elderly and should consult with a
physician prior to use.
Do not use the BIO-BELT if you have any of the following conditions:
▪Person with organ transplant
▪Person with high fever
▪Person with cognitive disability
▪Person with skin problems i.e. insensitivity to temperature change
▪Person with acute disease, acute tumor, external pacemaker, the visually impaired,
and any heart problems
If you have any of the following conditions, only use the BIO-BELT
if directed by a physician.
▪Person with immobility
▪ Person with internal pacemaker/debrillator
▪ Person with Adrenal Suppression Disorders, Addison’s Disease, Adrenal Insufciency,
Systematic Lupus Erythematosus, and Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
▪Person with bypass surgery
▪Person with diabetes
▪Person with high blood pressure (hypertension)
▪Person who is pregnant
▪Person who is sick
▪Person who recently received radiation/chemotherapy
▪Person with surgical or silicone implants

INDICATIONS FOR USE :
For use in adults over 18 years of age. The BIO-BELT is indicated for the
temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain and stiffness; the tem-
porary relief of joint pain associated with arthritis; the temporary relief
of muscle spasms, minor sprains and strains, and minor muscular back
pain; the relaxation of muscles; and the temporary increase of local circu-
lation where applied.

Product installation
Checklist before product installation
▪ Do not use the product in areas with high humidity or signicant dust.
▪ Handle the BIO-BELT with care. Any physical impact such as dropping the BIO-BELT can damage inter-
nal components.
▪ Check the voltage before turning on the BIO-BELT.
- Voltage for the product: 120V
- Electric shock or damage to the BIO-BELT can result from improper voltage.
- The BIO-BELT and the controller must be the same voltage.
(i.e. 120V BIO-BELT + 120V Controller / 220V BIO-BELT + 220V Controller)
▪Do not use the BIO-BELT if the plug, power cable, or power outlet has any damage. Always check for cuts
and scrapes to the power cable.
▪Do not pull on the power cord or controller when unplugging the BIO-BELT.
▪Use a dedicated outlet when operating the BIO-BELT. Problems may occur when sharing a power strip
with other devices.
Product installation
1. Connect the controller / power cable to the connection port of the BIO-BELT. To ensure a secure
connection, there should be no space between the connector and the outlet on the mat.
The connection may be tight at rst.
2. Plug the controller / power cable into an outlet. Make sure the controller is rated for the same volt-
age as the outlet.
NOTE: Use care when handling the controller / power cable to prevent accidental breakage. Do not
drop, stand on or place heavy objects on the controller / power cable. Never pull the power
cable to remove the plug from the receptacle, be sure to hold the plug.

How to use the product
Turning ON and OFF
Check the following to make sure the BIO-BELT is operating properly.
The BIO-BELT can be used on the legs, arms, shoulders, and waist. Its small size makes it easy to trans-
port.
▪Please contact our Customer Service Center if the power indication light does not turn on
when the power is connected.
Caution
1. Turn the BIO-BELT on by pressing the Power button. The indicator light will turn on. Press the but-
ton again to turn off the BIO-BELT.
2. If the light does not turn on, check for any plug/power system problems.
3. Press the temperature adjustment button to see if it is working property. Contact our Customer
Service Center if the controller is not working properly.
4. The BIO-BELT will automatically turn off after 2 hours of continuous use. To continue using the belt,
turn it on again and set the temperature.

Adjusting the product’s temperature
1. When the power is turned on, press the [Temperature Up / Down] button to set the desired
temperature.
▪ Range of temperature: 95 ~ 149°F / 35 ~ 65°C
▪ Each time the temperature button is pressed, the temperature setting changes in increments of
9°F / 5°C.
2. When adjusting the temperature, the indicator light will change color depending on the temperature
selected. Once selected, the BIO-BELT will heat up to the proper temperature. If the button of the
controller is not working properly, please contact our Customer Service Center.
▪ Green: 95° ~ 104°F (35° ~ 40°C)
▪ Yellow: 113° ~ 131°F (45° ~ 55°C)
▪ Red: 140° ~ 149°F (60° ~ 65°C)
▪Do not place the BIO-BELT directly on your skin. Doing so may cause burns or injury to
your skin. Place a towel between the BIO-BELT and your skin during use.

3. Place the BIO-BELT around your legs, arms, shoulders, or waist with the gemstones faced
inward (gemstones are visible through the clear window). Adjust the strap to secure the BIO-
BELT. We recommend placing a towel between the BIO-BELT and your skin to prevent low
temperature burns.
4. Do not place the controller on the BIO-BELT when in use. Keep the controller away from the
BIO-BELT.
After using the product
- After using the BIO-BELT, turn it off by pressing the Power button.
- When the power is turned off, unplug the BIO-BELT from the outlet.

▪When not in use, turn off the power and unplug the BIO-BELT.
▪Before storing the BIO-BELT, be sure to turn it off and wait until it has cooled down.
▪Store the BIO-BELT lying flat (not folded) and in a well-ventilated area.
▪Unplug the controller from the BIO-BELT and place it in a bag.
▪Do not expose the device to water, rain or extreme humidity. It may cause electric shock or fire.

▪When cleaning the BIO-BELT, do not wash with water, submerge in water, or dry clean.
- Doing so may cause electric shock or a short circuit.
▪When cleaning the BIO-BELT, make sure to turn off the power and unplug it.

1. Unplug the BIO-BELT before cleaning it. Use a moist towel to remove any dust on the surface and
a soft dry fabric to clean the controller.
2. We recommend wiping the clear strip on the BIO-BELT once a month with a moist towel to maintain
good condition.
- Do not leave any moisture on the BIO-BELT after cleaning the product.
- If the BIO-BELT has any moisture or perspiration on it, use a dry towel to wipe it off.
3. Do not use detergents, solvents, or ammable chemicals when cleaning the BIO-BELT and controller.

Trouble shooting guide
If the alarm light on the controller ashes while using the BIO-BELT, stop using it immediately. Use the
trouble shooting guide to eliminate the problem. If recommended steps did not eliminate the problem and
the alarm light is still ashing, stop using the BIO-BELT and contact Customer Service.

Richway & Fuji Bio warrants the covered product to be free from defects and malfunctions
at the time sold. “Defects” as used in this warranty, is dened as imperfections, which im-
pair or impede the function and use of the product.
How Long the Warranty Lasts
This limited warranty lasts 3 years from the date of delivery. This warranty extends to the original purchaser
only. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer ownership.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers any defects or malfunctions in the electronic components, heating element, and top cover
replacement. If Richway & Fuji Bio determines that such goods are defective, within the period of this warranty,
Richway & Fuji Bio will repair or replace the parts free of charge for the rst year. Repair or replacement for the
second and third year requires a fee, which can be found on our website. Repair or replacement is the sole and
exclusive remedy available to the buyer, and shall constitute the fulllment of all Richway & Fuji Bio obligations
in respect to the goods furnished under this agreement.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufcient or excessive electrical supply, ordi-
nary wear, fading, failure to follow instructions and improper maintenance. Richway & Fuji Bio shall not be liable
for any incidental or consequential damages as a direct result of negligence or misuse. This warranty does
not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged, and/or resealed products, including but not
limited to sale of such products on internet sites and/or sales of such products on internet auction sites and/
or sales of such products by surplus or bulk resalers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately
cease and terminate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modied,
without the prior express and written consent of Richway & Fuji Bio.
How to Get Service
To obtain service under this warranty, contact your local Customer Service Center and provide the purchaser’s
name, RI (Richway Invoice) number, and a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing. They will
provide you with a return merchandise authorization number (RMA). This number is required and must be placed
in a visible area on the front of the package. Ship your product postage paid, include a copy of the original sales
slip, credit card receipt or other proof of the date of the original retail purchase. If servicing within the rst two (2)
months, we will send you a prepaid shipping label to cover your shipping costs. If servicing from the third month
and on, the customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the product for repair or replacement. We will
cover the shipping costs to return the product back to the customer.
How Do State Laws Apply
This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Any implied warranties last the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts and some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

Précautions en matière de sécurité
AVERTISSEMENT :
Utilisez avec soin. Peut entraîner de graves brûlures. Ne pas utiliser sur
des zones de peau extrêmement sensibles ou lorsqu’il y a une mauvaise
circulation. L’utilisation sans surveillance du BIO-BELT par les enfants ou
les personnes souffrant d’une incapacité peut s’avérer dangereuse. Le
BIO-BELT est un appareil médical qui devrait uniquement être utilisé par
un adulte compétent. Les personnes âges et les personnes qui souffrent
de problèmes de mobilité doivent être supervisées.
- Ne pas modier, changer ou démonter le produit. Ceci pourrait entraîner un mauvais fonction-
nement du produit et produire un choc électrique et un feu.
- Assurez-vous d’utiliser le bon voltage pour votre pays. Le mauvais voltage peut engendrer un
choc électrique, un feu ou des dommages au produit.
- Veillez à ce que le connecteur soit bien branché à la prise de courant avant de faire fonction-
ner l’appareil.
- Si une panne de courant survient, éteignez l’alimentation et débranchez la prise.
- Si le BIO-BELT prend feu ou commence à fumer, éteignez et débranchez l’appareil. Signalez
le problème à notre Centre de service à la clientèle.
- Ne laissez pas les enfants sans surveillance à proximité du BIO-BELT. La perte de vie ou des
blessures graves peuvent survenir si un enfant entoure le cordon d’alimentation autour de son
cou ou bien trébuche par dessus le cordon d’alimentation.
Veuillez lire et suivre les instructions qui se trouvent dans ce manuel. L’utilisation appropriée du BIO-
BELT empêchera les blessures à l’utilisateur et les dommages à la propriété privée.
AVERTISSEMENT :
Des dommages matériels, un mauvais fonctionnement de l’appareil ou
des blessures peuvent survenir si les instructions suivantes ne sont pas
suivies à la lettre. Si vous ne vous sentez pas bien suivant l’utilisation du
BIO-BELT, arrêtez l’utilisation et consultez un médecin. Utilisez unique-
ment le BIO-BELT pour une thermothérapie. Si l’appareil ne fonctionne
pas correctement, veuillez arrêter l’utilisation et communiquer avec le
Service à la clientèle.
- Ne pas modier ou altérer le BIO-BELT.
- Ne pas sauter, vous tenir debout ou placer des objets lourds sur le BIO-BELT.
- Ne pas placer la manette sur le BIO-BELT lorsque vous utilisez celui-ci. Gardez la manette
loin du BIO-BELT.
- Ne placez pas le BIO-BELT sur les surfaces sensibles aux températures (p.ex: le cuir).
