Assembly Instructions
Each ESHOPPER was fully assembled and checked before leaving
the factory. For transportation, we have removed the front wheel and
handlebar however you can re-install them very easily. A tool kit is
included with your bike.
Front wheel: Put the ends of the front wheel hub in the fork ends and
then tighten the wheel, make sure it's perfectly aligned and secure.
The quick release mechanism must be square and firmly tightened to
ensure safety.
Front Mudguard: The supports are attached to the sides. Tighten the nuts on
both sides and top of the front fork till they are secured. Please make sure
that all the screws and nuts are securely fastened.

Handlebar / Stem: The handlebar and stem comes pre-assembled and they are
loosened and turned down when packing.
You should turn the handle bar assembly until it is at right angles with the frame
and adjust the height. Then open the placket plastic piece, and align the
handlebars so they are perpendicular to the front wheel. Then tighten using
the 12mm spanner.
Pedals: The right-hand pedal (marked "R" on the
pedal shaft) must be fitted on the right-hand
crank and tightened firmly clockwise. The left
pedal (marked "L") should be fitted on the left-
hand crank and tightened firmly anticlockwise but
not excessively, as the crank threads are made of
aluminum alloy. Use the 15mm wrench. Please take
care as the threads on the axle will be stripped if
you mistake the left and right pedal.

Brakes: It's vital to ensure the brakes are correctly
adjusted. Check that the V-brake blocks on the front
brake are parallel to the rim, and that the distance
between them does not exceed 2mm, then tighten
the brake mounting bolts. Squeeze to test their
responsiveness.
The rear drum brake has been correctly adjusted at the
factory but please check it is operating correctly before
riding the bike.
Front basket: Fix the front basket to the bike with the
screws/nuts/washers supplied.

User Guide
Please read this instruction manual carefully before you ride the EShopper for the
first time. We do not recommend lending your bike to someone who does not know how to
operate it.
PRE-RIDE CHECKS
Before riding your bike we recommend checking your brakes, tyre pressure lights and
battery. Ideally the battery should be fully charged before each journey. You should have a
knowledge of the Highway Code before riding on the road and we advise you wear bright
clothing so that you are easily spotted by other road users.
CHARGING
You can charge the bike with the battery in place or you can remove the battery
from the bicycle and then charge it. Before you do this, you will have to unlock the
battery with the ignition key. When you finish charging, replace the battery, drop
the battery down along the slide bracket and then lock the battery with the ignition
key.
You should always use the charger supplied with the bike (never use a charger from
a different model). Before charging, you must turn the power switch to "OFF"
position and pull out the key. Keep the charger in a dry and ventilated area when

it's working and the charger is designed for indoor use only. Do not remove the plug
by pulling the cable, always grip the charging port by its body.
Firstly connect the output plug of the
charger into the socket of the battery case
and then insert the input plug into the AC
110-240 V electrical outlet. The charger
indicator will light shine Red, which means
the battery is charging.
When the light turns from Red to Green, it means the battery has been fully charged.
It can take up to 6 hours to fully recharge the battery.
After the light turns Green, the charger is in a state of trickle charge and can be left
connected however if you are away for an extended time it is better to disconnect it,
especially in warm weather. If the bike is not used for an extensive period, the
battery should still be charged monthly.
The charger will become warm during charging so keep it away from any heat
source. The electronics inside contain high voltage, so please don't try to
disassemble the charger by yourself.
After charging, please pull the input plug out of the electrical outlet first, and then
pull out the output connecting plug from the battery case.
While charging, please keep the charger out of the reach of children. Do not put
anything on top of the charger when use, and prevent any liquid, metal or metal
fillings getting into the charger.

OPERATION
Turn the ignition key to the ON position and the display will light up. The throttle is
operated by turning the right handle on the handlebars anticlockwise. Please apply the
power gradually and do not try to get maximum speed immediately. It is recommended
that when taking off you help the motor by pedalling and also assist it on steep hills.
Applying either of the brakes automatically cuts the power to the motor. The EShopper
also has a Pedal Assist System so if you start the bike by pedalling, the motor will kick
in to help you.
The indicator switch, lights and horn are on the left handle of the
bike.
When you stop, shut the power "OFF" and pull out the key
while parking. Also, the power switch should be turned
"OFF" when pushing the bike so that you don't start up the motor by
accident. Never allow the rear wheel to become fully submerged in water as
this will result in a short circuit of the motor.
Use a chain lock to secure your EShopper when necessary.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Your EShopper needs very little routine maintenance- just occasional
lubrication of the chain and axles.
Cleaning should by means of a damp sponge followed by drying with a cloth.
Please do not use a water spray or power washer.
