P-FBC120-EU / 120-UK Li-Po Charger Manual
This LiPo-charger is for use with Futaba radios , when fitted with the supplied Li-Po batteries only
- it is not to be used for any other transmitter or Li-Po battery, as these may lack the internal
balancing circuitry required for safe charging.
Please note that this charger is different from the type described in the radio manual. Please
charge the transmitter using the instructions in this manual, not those in the radio manual
Please read this manual carefully before using the charger and follow the instructions.
Technical Parameters:
Input: AC 110-240V 50/60Hz
Rated output voltage/current: 8.4V/1.0A (4.2VA. max)
Practical battery specification: 2S Li-Po (2800/3400mAh)
Battery Charging Times:
The charge time from flat for the 2800mAh battery is around 3 hours, whilst the charge time for
the 3400mAh battery is around 3,5 hours.
Unplug the AC power and charge connector when the charge light turns green.
Instructions:
Push the charger output plug carefully into the transmitter charging socket, then insert the AC
mains plug of the charger into the AC power socket. Switch the AC power on, and the charge light
on the charger will illuminate red, confirming that the battery is being charged.
When the battery is fully charged the charge light on the charger will change to green, this
confirms that the charge cycle has completed.
When charging is completed, pull out the mains input plug first and then the output jack plug.
Charge Indicator Light Colours:
Red: Normal charging is taking place.
Green: Charging completed (or not connected to a battery).
Off: No AC input power.
Safety Precautions:
• Please check the charger’s AC input voltage range matches your local mains AC
voltage before use.
• This charger is only suitable for indoor use.
• This charger must not be covered when in use, and should be positioned
well away from any heat source such as a radiator, heater etc to avoiding
overheating and the risk of a fire.
• This charger should not be used by children unless supervised by an adult.

• This charger must not be moved or children allowed to touch it whilst charging is
taking place.
• This charger must only be operated in a dry place and no liquids must be
allowed to come into contact with it.
• This charger is not a toy. Never insert any metal items (such as pin) into the
charger’s vents, as this may result in personal injury and/or a fire.
• If the charger does not operate correctly, it must be returned to the supplier for
repair/replacement. If the charger is opened and/or repaired by non-authorised
personnel, this may result in personal injury or damage to the charger.
• If the output lead becomes damaged, the charger should be returned for repair,
the use of other output leads is prohibited.
• Carefully note the battery polarity and follow the manufacturer‘s instructions and
avoid short-circuiting.
• Disconnect the battery immediately if it overheats.
• Do not leave batteries and chargers near to any inflammable materials and
never leave them unsupervised during charging.
• In case of mains failure, or if charger becomes unplugged, remove the battery
from the charger as reverse discharging may be possible.
• Only suitable for charging rechargeable 7.4V LiPo-batteries with internal balance
circuit board.
• Do not use with dry batteries or Nicad/ NiMH – There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not attempt to repair a defective charger yourself.

• Stecken Sie das Ladekabel des Ladegerätes in die Ladebuchse des Senders, bevor Sie mit dem
Ladevorgang beginnen. Danach stecken Sie das Ladegerät in die Steckdose. Die LED sollte
jetzt rot leuchten als Zeichen für den Ladevorgang.
• Wenn der LiPo-Akku voll geladen ist, wechselt die LED von rot auf grün als Zeichen, dass der
Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist. Nach dem Laden ziehen Sie zuerst das Ladegerät und danach
das Ladekabel ab.
Ladeanzeige Display:
Rot: Normaler Ladevorgang
Grün: Ladevorgang abgeschlossen (oder nicht verbunden mit dem Senderakku).
Aus: Keine Eingangsspannung.
Sicherheitshinweise:
• Bitte überprüfen Sie, bevor Sie das Ladegerät verwenden, ob die
Eingangsspannung (230V) des Laders, mit der lokalen Netzspannung
übereinstimmt.
• Das Ladegerät ist nur für den Innenbereich geeignet.
• Das Ladegerät darf beim Einsatz nicht abgedeckt werden, und sollte nicht in der
Nähe einer Wärmequelle (z.B. Heizung etc.) stehen. Ansonsten könnte dadurch
ein Brand verursacht werden.

Bedienungsanleitung
LiPo-Ladegerät nur für die Verwendung mit Futaba Fernsteuerungen, mit entsprechend
ausgelieferten LiPo-Akkus. Nicht für andere Sender oder LiPo-Akkus verwenden, welche
eventuell keine integrierte Balancer-Automatik besitzen.
Hinweis: Das Ladegerät weicht von dem in der Bedienungsanleitung der Fernsteuerung
beschriebenen ab. Laden Sie daher gemäß dieser Anleitung.
Lesen Sie bitte diese Anleitung sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das Ladegerät einsetzen.

Die erwartete Ladezeit eines leeren 2800mAh Akku ca. 3 Stunden, die erwartete Ladezeit für
einen leeren 3400mAh Akku ca. 3,5 Stunden.
Ziehen Sie das Ladegerät aus der Steckdose und danach den Ladestecker, wenn das Licht grün
aufleuchtet.
Anleitung:

• Das Gerät darf nicht ohne Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen von Kindern verwendet
werden.
• Das Ladegerät darf nicht bewegt werden, wenn Sie es benutzen. Insbesondere
ist es Minderjährigen untersagt, das Gerät zu berühren, da es ansonsten zu
Verletzungen kommen kann.
• Das Ladegerät darf beim Laden, und bei der Lagerung keiner Feuchtigkeit
ausgesetzt werden.
• Das Ladegerät ist kein Spielzeug. Es ist verboten Metall (z.B. Pins) in die
Öffnung des Ladegerätes zu stecken. Andernfalls kann dies Feuer, oder Unfälle
mit Personenschaden verursachen.
• Bitte schicken Sie Ihr defektes Ladegerät an eine autorisierte Servicestelle. Das
defekte Ladegerät nicht selbst, oder von einem Laien reparieren lassen. Dies
kann zu weiteren Schäden am Gerät führen, und gleichzeitig das Unfall- und
Verletzungsrisiko drastisch erhöhen.
• Ist das Kabel vom Eingang/Ausgang und/oder das Netzkabel beschädigt,
wenden Sie sich bitte für Ersatz an Ihren Fachhändler, bei dem Sie dieses Gerät
gekauft haben. Es ist nicht zulässig ein anderes Netzkabel zu verwenden.
• Akkupolung und Herstellerangaben beachten, Kurzschlüsse vermeiden.
• Bei starkem Erwärmen der Akkus diese abziehen.
• Akkus und Ladegerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren Unterlagen oder Gasen
verwenden und nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen.
• Bei Netzausfall oder gezogenem Netzstecker Akku vom Ladegerät abtrennen,
da eine gegenseitige Entladung möglich ist.
• Nur zum Laden von wiederaufladbaren 7,4V LiPo-Akkus mit internen Balancern
geeignet.
• Keine Trockenbatterien oder NC/ NiMH Akkus laden- Explosionsgefahr!
• Defektes Gerät nicht selbst reparieren.
