CONSEILS ET SUGGESTIONS
INSTALLATION
•Lefabricantdéclinetouteresponsabilitéencasdedommagedûàune
installation non correcte ou non conforme aux règles de l’art.
•La distance minimale de sécuritéentre le plan de cuisson et la hotte
doit être de 650 mm au moins.
•Vérifier que la tension du secteur corresponde àla valeur qui figure
sur la plaquette apposée àl’intérieur de la hotte.
•Connecter la hotte àla sortie d’air aspiréàl’aide d’une tuyauterie
d’un diamètre égal ou supérieur à120 mm. Le parcours de la
tuyauterie doit être le plus court possible.
•Eviterdeconnecterlahotteàdes conduites d’évacuation des fumées
issues d’une combustion (Chaudière, cheminée, etc…).
•Si vous utilisez des appareils qui ne fonctionnent pas àl’électricité
dans la pièce ou est installée la hotte (par exemple : des appareils
fonctionnant au gaz), vous devez prévoir une aération suffisante du
milieu. Si la cuisine en est dépourvue, pratiquez une ouverture qui
communique avec l’extérieur pour garantir l’infiltration de l’air pur.
UTILISATION
•La hotte a étéconçue exclusivement pour l’usage domestique, dans
le but d’éliminer les odeurs de la cuisine.
•Ne jamais utiliser abusivement la hotte.
•Ne pas laisser les flammes libres àforte intensitéquand la hotte est
en service.
•Toujours régler les flammes de manière àéviter toute sortie latérale
de ces dernières par rapport au fond des marmites.
•Contrôler les friteuses lors de l’utilisation car l’huile surchauffée
pourrait s’enflammer.
•La hotte ne doit pas être utilisée par des enfants ou des personnes ne
pouvant pas assurer une utilisation correcte.
ENTRETIEN
•Avant de procéder àtoute opération d’entretien, débrancher la hotte
en retirant la fiche ou en actionnant l’interrupteur général.
•Effectuer un entretien scrupuleux et en temps dûdes Filtres, àla
cadence conseillée.
•Pour le nettoyage des surfaces de la hotte, il suffit d’utiliser un
chiffon humide et un détergent liquide neutre.

INSTALLATION
Perçage Paroi et Fixation Brides
Tracer sur la paroi :
•une ligne verticale allant jusqu’au plafond ou àla limite supérieure, au centre de la zone prévue pour
le montage de la hotte.
•une ligne horizontale à650 mm min. au-dessus du plan de cuisson pour installation sans embases :à
la cote H (H = hauteur de la partie en vue de l’embase), en cas d’installation avec embase.
•Poser comme indiquéune bride 7.2.1 sur la paroi à1-2 mm du plafond ou de la limite supérieure, en
alignant son centre (découpes) sur la ligne verticale de repère.
•Marquer les centres des trous de la bride.
•Poser comme indiquéla bride 7.2.1àX mm sous la première bride (X = hauteur cheminée supérieure
fournie), en alignant son centre (découpes) sur la ligne verticale de repère.
•Marquer les centres des trous de la bride.
•Poser comme indiqué, la bride 7.1 à110 mm de la ligne verticale de repère, et 180 mm au-dessus de
la ligne horizontale de repère.
•Marquer les centres des trous de la bride.
•Répéter cette opération sur le côtéopposé.
FIXATION EMBASE (SI FOURNIE)
L’Embase doit être montée avant d’installer le corps de la hotte et si l'on souhaite la fixer au mur par le
haut ou par le bas, il est nécessaire de la monter àla juste hauteur avant de monter les bases. Comme il
s’agit d’une opération complexe, elle doit être confiée àl’installateur de la cuisine ou àun personnel
compétent ayant pris connaissance de toutes les dimensions finales des meubles.
En se limitant àla fixation supérieure, procéder comme suit :
•Poser l’embase sur la base en insérant l’intercalaire inférieur entre le plan supérieur et la paroi, en le
centrant par rapport àla ligne verticale de repère.
•Marquer les centres des deux trous de l’intercalaire supérieur.

•Percer de ø8 mm tous les points marqués.
•Insérer les chevilles 11 dans les trous.
•Fixer les brides en utilisant les vis 12a fournies.
•Si présente, fixer l’embase, en utilisant les vis 12a fournies.
Montage du Corps de la Hotte
Branchements
SORTIE AIR VERSION ASPIRANTE
En cas d’installation en version aspirante, brancher la hotteàla tuyauterie de sortie via un tube rigide ou
flexible de ø150 ou 120 mm, au choix de l’installateur.
SORTIE AIR VERSION FILTRANTE
•Visser sur les brides 7.1 les 2 vis 12d (M4 x 25)
fournies.
•Accrocher le corps hotte aux brides 7.1, en le
centrant sur la ligne verticale.
•Agir sur les vis 12d, par le dessous de la hotte
pour en niveler le corps.
•En cas de branchement avec un tube de ø120 mm,
insérer le flasque de réduction 9sur la sortie du
corps de la hotte.
•Fixer le tube par des colliers appropriés. Le
matériau nécessaire n’est pas fourni.
•Retirer les éventuels filtres anti-odeur au charbon
actif.
•Appliquerpar pressionle raccord sortieair15sur
la sortie du corps de la hotte.
•Les grilles de direction sortie air doivent être
montées après l’installation de la cheminée
inférieure.
•S’assurer de la présence des filtres anti-odeur au
charbon actif.

BRANCHEMENT ELECTRIQUE
•Brancher la hotte sur le secteur en interposant un interrupteur bipolaire avec ouverture des contacts
d’au moins 3 mm.
Montage Cheminée
Cheminée supérieure
•Elargir légèrement les deux bords latéraux, et les
accrocher derrière les brides 7.2.1 ; refermer
jusqu’à la butée.
•Fixer latéralement aux brides, àl’aide des 4 vis
12e (2,9 x 9,5) fournies.
Cheminée inférieure
•Elargir légèrement les deux bords latéraux de la
Cheminée et les accrocher entre la Cheminée
supérieure et la paroi; refermer jusqu’à la butée.
•Fixer latéralement la partie inférieure au corps
hotte, àl'aide des deux 2 vis 12e (2,9 x 9,5)
fournies.
•Pour la version filtrante, appliquer les grilles de
direction 8a –8b dans les logements prévus àcet
effet, pour que les symboles de direction soient
orientés vers le haut et le face avant de la hotte.
S’assurer qu’elles soient bien insérées dans le
Raccord 15.

UTILISATION

Filtres anti-graisse
NETTOYAGE FILTRES ANTI-GRAISSE METALLIQUES AUTOPORTEURS
Filtres anti-odeur (Version filtrante)
REMPLACEMENT FILTRES AU CHARBON ACTIF
Lavables au lave-vaisselle, ils doivent être lavés
tous les 2 mois d’utilisation ou plus fréquemment
pour une utilisation très intense.
•Retirer les filtres un par un en agissant sur les
crochets prévus àcet effet.
•Laverlesfiltresenévitantdelesplieretleslaisser
sécher avant de les remonter.
•Les remonter en veillant àtenir la poignée vers la
partie visible externe.
Ils ne sont pas lavables ni régénérables; les
remplacer tous les 4 mois d’utilisation ou plus
fréquemment pour une utilisation très intense.
•Retirer les filtres anti-grasse.
•Retirer les filtres anti-odeur au charbon actif
saturés, comme indiqué(A).
•Monter les nouveaux filtres (B).
•Remonter les filtres anti-graisse. A

Eclairage
REMPLACEMENT LAMPES
Lampes à incandescence de 40 W
•Retirer les filtres anti-graisse métalliques.
•Dévisser les lampes et les remplacer par de
nouvelles avec les mêmes caractéristiques.
•Remonter les filtres anti-graisse métalliques.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
INSTALLATION
•The manufacturer will not be held liable for any damages resulting
from incorrect or improper installation.
•The minimum safety distance between the cooker top and the
extractor hood is 650 mm.
•Check that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the
rating plate fixed to the inside of the hood.
•Connect the hood to the exhaust flue through a pipe of minimum
diameter 120 mm. The route taken by the pipe must be as short as
possible.
•Do not connect the extractor hood to exhaust ducts carrying
combustion fumes (boilers, fireplaces, etc.).
•If the extractor is used in conjunction with non-electrical appliances
(e.g. gas burning appliances), a sufficient degree of aeration must be
guaranteed in the room in order to prevent the backflow of exhaust
gas.Thekitchenmusthave an opening communicating directly with
the open air in order to guarantee the entry of clean air.
USE
•The extractor hood has been designed exclusively for domestic use
to eliminate kitchen smells.
•Never use the hood for purposes other than for which it has been
designed.
•Never leave high naked flames under the hood when it is in
operation.
•Adjustthe flameintensity to directit ontothe bottom ofthe panonly,
making sure that it does not engulf the sides.
•Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during use:
overheated oil can burst into flames.
•The hood should not be used by children or persons not instructed in
its correct use.
MAINTENANCE
•Switch off or unplug the appliance from the mains supply before
carrying out any maintenance work.
•Clean and/or replace the Filters after the specified time period.
•Clean the hood using a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent.

INSTALLATION
Wall drilling and bracket fixing
Wall marking:
•Draw a vertical line on the supporting wall up to the ceiling, or as high as practical, at the centre of
the area in which the hood will be installed.
•Draw a horizontal line at 650 mm above the hob for installation without the back panel, or at height
H (height of the visible part of the panel) for installation with the back panel.
•Place bracket 7.2.1 on the wall as shown about 1-2 mm from the ceiling or upper limit, aligning the
centre (notch) with the vertical reference line.
•Mark the wall at the centres of the holes in the bracket.
•Place bracket 7.2.1 on the wall as shown at X mm below the first bracket (X = height of the upper
chimney section supplied), aligning the centre (notch) with the vertical line.
•Mark the wall at the centres of the holes in the bracket.
•Place bracket 7.1as shown 110 mm from the vertical reference line and 180 mm above the horizontal
reference line.
•Mark the centres of the holes in the bracket.
•Repeat this operation on the other side.
REAR PANEL (OPTIONAL)
The Rear Panel must be fitted before fixing the hood body and, if it is to be fixed at both top and bottom,
must be fitted at the correct height prior to installing the bases. As this operation is rather complex, it
shouldbecarried outeither bythe kitcheninstaller ora qualifiedperson whoknows thefinal dimensions
of the units.
For fixing at the top only, proceed as follows:
•Rest the back panel on the base, inserting the lower plate between the upper surface and the wall,
centring it on the vertical reference line.
•Mark the centres of the two holes in the upper plate.

•Drill ø8 mm holes at all the centre points marked.
•Insert the wall plugs 11 in the holes.
•Fix the brackets using the 12a screws supplied.
•Fix the back panel (where present) using the 12a screws supplied.
Mounting the hood body
Connections
DUCTED VERSION AIR EXHAUST SYSTEM
When installing the ducted version, connect the hood to the chimney using either a flexible or rigid
pipe ø150 or 120 mm, the choice of which is left to the installer.
RECIRCULATION VERSION AIR OUTLET
•Screw the two screws 12d (M4 x 25) supplied
onto the brackets 7.1.
•Hook the hood body onto bracket 7.1, centring it
around the vertical line.
•Use the adjusting screws 12d underneath the
hood to level the hood body.
•To install a ø120 mm air exhaust connection,
insert the reducer flange 9on the hood body
outlet.
•Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe
clamps (not supplied).
•Remove any activated charcoal filters.
•Push fit the air outlet fitting 15 onto the air outlet
of the hood body.
•Theairoutletdirectionalgrillsmustbefittedafter
the lower outlet duct 2.2 has been installed
•Ensure that the activated charcoal filters have
been inserted.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
•Connect the hood to the mains through a two-pole switch having a contact gap of at least 3 mm.
Chimney assembly
Upper chimney section
•Slightly widen the two sides of the upper
chimney and hook them behind the brackets
7.2.1, making sure that they are properly housed.
•Secure the sides to the brackets using the 4
screws 12e (2,9 x 9,5) supplied.
Lower chimney section
•Slightly widen the two sides of the section and
hook them between the upper section and the
wall, making sure that they are properly housed.
•Fix the sides of the bottom section to the hood
body using the 2 screws 12e (2,9 x 9,5) supplied.
•When installing the recirculation version, fit the
directional grills 8a –8b in their housings so that
thedirectional symbolsare atthe topand towards
thefrontofthehood.Ensurethattheyareinserted
correctly in the outlet connection piece 15

USE
Control panel
LLight Switches the lighting system on

MAINTENANCE
Grease filters
CLEANING METAL SELF-SUPPORTING GREASE FILTERS
Odour filters (Recirculation version)
REPLACING THE ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS
The filters must be cleaned every 2 months of oper-
ation, or more frequently with heavy usage, and can
be washed in a dishwasher..
•Remove the filters by releasing the fixing hooks.
•Wash the filters, taking care not to bend them.
Allow them to dry before refitting.
•When refitting the filters, make sure that the
handle is visible on the outside.
These filters are not washable and cannot be
regenerated, and must be replaced every 4 months
of operation, or more frequently with heavy usage.
•Remove the grease filters.
•Removethesaturatedactivatedcharcoalfiltersas
shown (A).
•Fit new filters (B).
•Replace the grease filters. A
