TODAS LAS REGLAMENTACIONES LOCALES, INCLUIDAS LAS QUE HAGAN REFERENCIA A
NORMAS NACIONALES O EUROPEAS HAN DE CUMPLIRSE CUANDO SE INSTALA EL
APARATO.
1.1.Hogar monobloque. Hogar fabricado en acero, equipado con parrilla brasas,
cubeta recogecenizas, placas deflectoras, collarín de conexión de humos desmontable, con
cámara envolvente convectora exterior y salidas de aire en la parte superior.
1.2. Desplazamiento del aparato. Para mayor facilidad y seguridad a la hora de desplazarlo al
lugar de su instalación o para su transporte en grúa, se han incorporado dos anillas en la parte
superior (C1), además, el distribuidor Rocal, tiene un kit de ruedas para poder mover y desplazar
el aparato (C2).
1.3. Desmontaje del hogar. Para facilitar su transporte hasta el interior del domicilio, si es
necesario, puede desmontarse el aparato en dos partes: kit puerta guillotina y cámara
combustión. Para ello primero debe quitar los laterales y a continuación los registros primario y
secundario (C3-C4-C5-C6).
Después saque el protector que encontrará justo al abrir la puerta, para ello primero quite los
tornillos que están en la parte interna (C7), saque el protector y a continuación quite los tornillos
que encontrará debajo (C8) y los dos que hay a ambos laterales del módulo (C9). Una vez
quitados todos los tornillos, las dos partes quedaran libres y podremos separarlas.
ATENCIÓN:
Al volver a unir las dos partes debe dejar la junta inferior
PERFECTAMENTE COLOCADA.
1.4. Desbloqueo y comprobación de la puerta. Quite las chapas que fijan el bloqueo de la
puerta (C10). Una vez desbloqueada, compruebe que el mecanismo de apertura sistema de
guillotina funciona correctamente. En ocasiones y debido al transporte, colocación, nivelación
incorrecta, incluso dilataciones que se producen con el uso, el sistema de contrapeso de la puerta
puede quedar descompensado. Para volver a equilibrarlo, abra la puerta en sistema basculante,
en el marco del módulo, justo en medio, por la parte interior, encontrará dos tornillos, aflójelos y
añada o quite peso para equilibrar la puerta según convenga.
Una vez equilibrada la puerta vuelva a cerrarla y compruebe que funciona correctamente.
ATENCIÓN:
Es muy importante que ANTES DE PROCEDER AL REVESTIMIENTO
DEL MÓDULO, COMPRUEBE LA NIVELACIÓN Y CONTRAPESO DE LA PUERTA,
asegúrese que funciona correctamente.
1.5. Suelo. El aparato debe instalarse en suelos que tengan una correcta capacidad portante. Si
la resistencia no es adecuada, deberá realizarse una placa de reparto para una equitativa
distribución del peso del aparato.
1.6. Pie graduable (C11-C12). El pie es graduable en altura y extensible, además nos permite
nivelar el aparato a través de las 4 pletinas de los pies.
1.7. Salida de humos (C13). Es obligatorio un conector de humos desde el cuello de salida del
aparato hasta la chimenea de salida de humos.
El buen estado e idoneidad de esta salida deberá estar certificada por un profesional.
También se puede prolongar este conector de humos hasta el exterior respetando en todos los
casos el diámetro de salida del aparato. Debe realizarse según la Norma al respecto. Este
conducto no debe ser compartido con otros aparatos (Véase tabla de Características técnicas).
1.8. Aislamiento.

1.8.1. Aislamiento del aparato. Es aconsejable revestir el aparato con placas aislantes (clase
A 1, EN13501-1) en sus laterales, parte trasera y parte superior.
1.8.2. Aislamiento del nicho de hogar. Es conveniente revestir con placas aislantes (Clase A-1,
EN13501-1) las paredes interiores del nicho de hogar.
1.9. Distancias de seguridad.
1.9.1. Distancias interiores del cerramiento de hogar. Deben respetarse los valores que se
describen en la tabla de Caraterísticas técnicas.
1.9.2. Distancias exteriores del cerramiento de hogar. Cualquier elemento frágil o inflamable
(textiles, electrónicos, madera, papel pintado, cristal, papel enyesado, etc.) debe separarse del
nicho de hogar respetando las distancias que se describen en la tabla de Características técnicas.
Hay que tener especial atención en aquellas chimeneas con repisas de madera o similares: hay
que prevenir y evitar la posibilidad de que el aire caliente que expulsa el aparato incida
directamente en la madera, en ese caso se deberá aislar debidamente.
1.10. Ventilación
1.10.1. Ventilación del cerramiento de hogar (C14-C15-C16). Se debe prever la colocación de
difusores de ventilación en el nicho de hogar en la entrada y la salida para obtener una buena
recirculacion de aire, respectando las secciones mínimas se describen en la tabla de
Características técnicas.
Si se desea se puede conducir el aire de la recámara del aparato a la parte superior del recinto de
chimenea o a una habitación contigua; para ello levante las tapas, atornille los collarines, y
conecte la tubería (esta puede ser de tubo rígido galvanizado o flexible de aluminio) (C17).
1.10.2. Toma aire exterior. La aportación necesaria de aire para la combustión se realiza a
través de un conector situado en la parte inferior trasera del módulo (C18). Esta toma puede ser
del exterior de la vivienda, garaje o sótano ventilados. Si no se realiza esta entrada del exterior,
este adaptador no se debe quitar y se colocará un conducto desde este conector hasta el difusor
de ventilación inferior. Al colocar una rejilla exterior no debe disminuir la sección de entrada del
aire indicada anteriormente. Debe realizarse una correcta entrada de aire para la combustión al
cerramiento de hogar, de modo que éste no sea totalmente estanco.
1.10.3. Ventilación de la sala. Se debe tener en cuenta una entrada suficiente de aire exterior a
la habitación donde ubicaremos el aparato, evitando que no pueda bloquearse, y hay que prever
el funcionamiento simultáneo con otros aparatos de ventilación y/o calefacción tales como
extractores de aire (cocina, baño, etc.), bomba de calor, etc.; en estos casos debe compensarse
la extracción de aire con la correspondiente entrada de aire exterior.
1.10.4. Ventilación del aparato (C19). El aparato, de fábrica, viene con unas aperturas en la
parte trasera y los laterales de la recámara:
-Ventilación con kit turbina (opcional). Si se instala el aparato con el kit de turbina (opcional) no
hay que abrir ninguna apertura, ya viene listo.
-Ventilación por convección natural (sin turbina). Si se instala el aparato sin el kit de turbina
(opcional) deben abrirse todas las tapas (rectangulares).
ATENCIÓN:
Una vez abiertas estas tapas, YA NO ES POSIBLE INSTALAR AL
MÓDULO EL KIT DE VENTILACIÓN (TURBINA) OPCIONAL.
1.11. Cerramiento de hogar. Debe construirse con materiales incombustibles y no se debe
realizar nunca encima del módulo y evitar los puntos de contacto. En su interior no debe contener
materiales inflamables ni frágiles tales como madera, papel pintado, cristal, papel enyesado, etc.
1.12. Interior del hogar.
1.12.1. Colocación de las piezas de vermiculita del interior del hogar. Las piezas de
vermiculita vienen colocadas desde fábrica. Para evitar peso en el momento de la instalación
estas piezas pueden sacarse y, una vez instalado el hogar, se deben volver a colocar (C21-C22-
C23-C24).
1.13. Colocación de las placas deflectoras.

1.13.1. Placas deflectoras superiores (C25-C26-C27). Las 2 placas centrales tienen tres
posiciones para graduar el tiro. De fábrica viene en a la posición más abierta y deberá graduar
según la depresión del conducto.
1.13.2. Placas deflectoras inferiores. Debajo de las placas situadas anteriormente, están las
placas deflectoras inferiores.
ATENCIÓN:
Para evitar que estas placas deflectoras se caigan durante el
Transporte, vienen bloqueadas por unas piezas de cartón situadas:
-Entre las placas inferiores y superiores
-Encima de las placas deflectoras superiores (para acceder, a través del conducto de
salida de humos)
1.14. Acceso para limpieza y seguridad. Es aconsejable dejar en el recinto del hogar un acceso
para la limpieza del aparato, el conector de humos y el conducto de la chimenea.
TODAS LAS REGLAMENTACIONES LOCALES, INCLUIDAS LAS QUE HACEN REFERENCIA A
NORMAS NACIONALES O EUROPEAS HAN DE CUMPLIRSE CUANDO SE INSTALA EL
APARATO.
Atención: no manipule ni toque ninguna parte del aparato cuando esté en marcha sin la
protección de la manopla antitérmica.
2.1. Primeros encendidos. Para los primeros encendidos, y durante un tiempo prudencial,
deben respetarse los datos sobre la carga máxima que se describen en la tabla de Características
técnicas.
ATENCIÓN:
Debe respetarse la carga máxima autorizada por el fabricante, la
medida de los leños así como la altura de la recarga.
2.2. Control de la combustión. Para obtener el rendimiento y potencia de la tabla de valores,
ajústese en la siguiente posición indicada en la tabla de Características técnicas.
2.2.1. Registro primario (C28). Está situado en el lado izquierdo del aparato. Este registro sirve
únicamente para el encendido, o como ayuda en una combustión pobre (este registro se identifica
con una llama de fuego).
2.2.2. Registro secundario (C29). Está situado en el lado derecho del aparato. Sirve para
graduar y mantener la intensidad de la combustión.
Hay que evitar una combustión excesiva y un exceso de temperatura en la cámara de
combustión. Uno de los síntomas de este exceso de temperatura es el blanqueamiento del cristal.
Hay que tener en cuenta que cuanto más cerrado esté el registro secundario, más suciedad se
incrustará en el cristal.
El desplazamiento hacia arriba y abajo activa estos registros.
ATENCIÓN:
Las posiciones indicadas son de acuerdo a la tabla: Características
técnicas, en todo caso, estas posiciones deben adecuarse según la
depresión del conducto y calidad del combustible.

2.3. Distancias de seguridad. Los enseres, muebles y demás elementos inflamables o frágiles
(textiles, aparatos electrónicos, madera, papel pintado, cristal, papel enyesado, etc.) no deben
acercarse a ningún punto del aparato que quede visto, así como tener en cuenta que en las
salidas de aire caliente no puede haber objetos o elementos inflamables sin que se respeten las
distancias de seguridad que se describen en la tabla de Características Técnicas.
2.4. Tipo de combustión. Este aparato es de combustión intermitente. La cámara de
combustión debe permanecer cerrada excepto en el momento de la recarga, para evitar cualquier
escape de humos, brasas y salpicaduras de combustible.
2.5. Combustibles autorizados. El aparato no debe utilizarse como incinerador y están
prohibidos otros combustibles que los autorizados por el fabricante. Como combustible solo se
autoriza el uso de leños de madera naturales no es recomendable el uso de maderas
resinosas.
Están prohibidos el resto de combustibles, incluidos líquidos (en ocasiones utilizados para
encender el fuego). La longitud máxima de los leños no debe superar la longitud indicada en los
datos técnicos según modelo (véase la tabla: Características técnicas).
2.6. Carga y recarga de combustible. Debe tenerse en cuenta la Carga Máxima Autorizada de
combustible, la longitud de los leños y la altura de la recarga cuidando que no exceda ni en
cantidad ni en tamaño a los datos especificados anteriormente (véase la tabla G: Características
técnicas).
NOTA IMPORTANTE:
Las piezas de vermiculita interiores NO DEBEN RECIBIR GOLPES
cuando se efectúa la recarga de combustible.
Si alguna de estas piezas se agrieta, pero está debidamente
colocada en su sitio, NO ALTERA EL FUNCIONAMIENTO CORRECTO DEL MÓDULO NI
COMPORTA RIESGO ALGUNO. El aparato puede utilizarse con total normalidad.
Estas grietas no suponen ningún defecto de fabricación por lo que no entran en garantía.
Para encender el fuego utilice materiales adecuados para ello tales como pastillas de fuego, gel
para fuego, papel y ramas secas y finas. NO UTILICE GASOLINAS, DISOLVENTES O
ALCOHOL.
Coloque la carga en la zona central de la base de la cámara de combustión y a continuación
prenda lumbre. Una vez este el fuego encendido, cierre el registro primario para evitar una
combustión excesiva y controle la intensidad del fuego mediante el registro secundario.
Cuando la carga de combustible se ha reducido deberá volver a recargar teniendo en cuenta los
datos especificados anteriormente.
2.7. Puerta de carga.
2.7.1. Funcionamiento apertura sistema de guillotina. La puerta se abre de arriba hacia abajo.
Esta función es muy útil para efectuar la carga de combustible.
2.7.2. Funcionamiento apertura basculante (C30). Esta función es útil para la limpieza o
cambio del cristal, juntas, etc. Para abrir la puerta, utilice la herramienta especifica, para ello
encajándola en el marco superior de la puerta y tirando hacia la izquierda al mismo tiempo que
basculamos la puerta hacia abajo.
2.8. Bloqueo de mecanismos. Es obligatorio revisar el buen funcionamiento del sistema de
apertura de la puerta de guillotina y basculante, así como los registros primario y secundario, etc.
después de un período prolongado de parada. Además, es recomendable revisar las entradas de
aire exterior que suministran aire para la combustión, estas deben estar libres de bloqueo.
2.9. Limpieza y mantenimiento del aparato.
2.9.1. Limpieza del cristal. Para limpiar el cristal hágalo con el aparato apagado y cuidando de
que el producto limpiador no toque las partes metálicas de la puerta ni de las juntas: debido a la
agresividad de estos productos puede iniciarse un proceso de corrosión de la puerta y del hogar y
un deterioramiento de las juntas.

2.9.2. Vaciado de la cubeta recogecenizas. Vacíe la cubeta solamente con el aparato
completamente apagado, cuidando de que las cenizas no contengan aun brasas encendidas
y puedan provocar un incendio; en todo caso se deben depositar en un cubo metálico.
La extracción de esta cubeta se puede realizar por la parte superior (C31) o por la parte inferior
(C32).
Para esta ultima opción, existe la posibilidad de adquirir una pequeña puerta con rejilla -
Vésase en el apartado E-F: Elementos opcionales: Difusor de entrada practicable –
(consulte con su distribuidor Rocal).
2.9.3. Limpieza del conducto de humos. Es necesario limpiar el conducto de humos al menos
una vez por temporada. Para ello tendrá que sacar únicamente las placas deflectoras.
2.9.4. Pintura. La pintura anticalórica que reviste el interior y exterior del aparato soporta hasta
600ºC de temperatura y desprende un ligero olor característico que desaparece con los primeros
encendidos.
Es posible que en algunas zonas del interior del hogar después de un tiempo de uso, la pintura
acabe por desaparecer, debido a la corrosión por líquidos, tipos de combustibles inadecuados u
otros que los autorizados por el fabricante, etc., en ese caso será necesario repintar todas las
zonas dañadas antes de un período prolongado de parada.
(Utilice única y exclusivamente el spray que se suministra con el kit de entrega.)
2.10. En caso de incendio. No debemos acercar ningún elemento inflamable a menos de 1000
mm de cualquier punto del aparato, además debemos tomar precauciones especiales por la
presencia de niños, ancianos, etc., cerca del mismo. En caso de incendio del aparato, aparte
todas las personas de su alrededor, cierre el registro al máximo y avise al Servicio de extinción de
Incendios.
2.11. Funcionamiento en condiciones climatológicas adversas. Es posible que el aparato,
debido a cambios climatológicos bruscos o inesperados, funcione incorrectamente debido a bajas
presiones, reflujos de las corrientes de aire al interior del conducto de humos: cuando se
observen estos fenómenos es recomendable cerrar todos los registros de aire de la combustión y
dejar apagar el aparato.
2.12. Modificación del aparato. Cualquier modificación que se pretenda en el aparato debe
estar autorizada por escrito por Manufacturas Rocal SA. Es recomendable, además, utilizar
únicamente las piezas de repuesto originales o recomendadas por Manufacturas Rocal SA.
Para este aparato existen elementos opcionales que puede solicitar a su distribuidor Rocal.
3.1. Marco con retornos. En opción existe el marco con retornos para acabado en obra del
aparato. Para su colocación siga los pasos siguientes:
3.1.1. Colocación del marco. No hay que quitar ninguna pieza del marco que viene de fábrica
con el aparato. Coloque el marco con retornos encajandolo desde la parte inferior (E2, E3, E4,
E5, E6, E7).
3.1.2. Sujeción del marco. Atornille los tornillos que encontrará en la parte inferior del aparato
(E8), seguidamente atornille los tornillos que encontrará en la parte superior del aparato (E9).
3.2. Difusor de entrada practicable. Si se realiza la instalación del módulo con la extracción
inferior de la cubeta de cenizas, se puede colocar en opción este difusor de entrada de aire
practicable ya que puede actuar de puerta para acceder a la cubeta.

ALL LOCAL REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE ONES ACCORDING TO THE NATIONAL
OREUROPEAN NORMS MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED WHEN PROCEEDING TO INSTALL
THEFIREPLACE.
1.1.Monoblock fireplace. Steel-made fireplace, equipped with ember grill, ashtray drawer,
deflector plates, detachable collar for smoke connection, with external chamber for convection and
flue air vents at the top.
1.2. Moving the device. In order you can move the device easier and safer to the place of its
installation or it can be transported by a crane, you will find two rings at the top (C1), your Rocal
distributor also has a wheel kit to move the device from one place to another (C2).
1.3. Dismantling of the fireplace. To ease its transport to the inside of the house you can, if
necessary, dismantle the device in two parts: guillotine-type door kit and combustion chamber. To
do this you must first remove the sides and then the primary and secondary registers (C3-C4-C5-
C6).
Then remove the protector you will find just when opening the door. To do this, first you have to
remove the screws of the inside (C7), remove the protector and then the screws below it (C8) and
two more that are on both sides of the module (C9). Once all screws are removed, both sides will
be freed and ready to be separated.
CAUTION:
When joining the two parts again, the bottom joint must be
PERFECTLY PLACED.
1.4. Unlock and check of the door. Remove the plates fastening the door lock (C10). Once
unlocked, check if the guillotine-type opening mechanism works properly. Sometimes, due to
transport, installation, incorrect levelling, or even expansion produced with its use, the
counterweight system of the door may be unbalanced. To rebalance it, open the swing door: look
at the frame of the module, just in the middle, on the inside and you will find two screws. Loosen
them; add any weight or take it away to balance the door as needed.
Once balanced, close the door again to verify if it works correctly.
CAUTION:
Before COVERING THE MODULE it is very important you to
CHECK THE LEVELLING AND THE COUNTERWEIGHT OF THE DOOR. Make sure it
works properly.
1.5. Floor. This fireplace must be assembled on floors, which provide an adequate bearing
capacity.
If the resistance is not enough, a panel of balance would be required to distribute the whole weight
of the fireplace.
1.6. Adjustable leg (C11-C12). The leg is height adjustable and extendible, and it also allows us
to level the device through its 4 platens at their feed.
1.7. Smokestack (C13). A smoke connector from the adapter is needed to the smoke outlet.
This outlet must be in good conditions and certified by a professional.
It can also be possible to lengthen the pipe to the outdoors providing, in any case, the exact
diameter for the fireplace.
The installation procedures must be done under the regulations.

It is not possible to use this pipe for any other purpose. This smokestack must be shared with
other devices (You can see G: Technical characteristics).
1.8. Insulating procedures.
1.8.1. Apparatus insulation. The fireplace must be insulated with insulation panels (Type A-
1,EN13501-1) on its sides, back and upper part.
1.8.2 Fireplace room insulation. It is also convenient to use insulation panels on the inner walls
of the fireplace (Type A-1, EN13501-1).
1.9. Safety distances.
1.9.1. Inner fireplace room safety distances. You must be respected the values described in G:
Technical characteristics.
1.9.2. Outer fireplace safety distances. Anything fragile or flammable (textile, electronics, wood,
paper wall, glass, chalk…) should be separated of the appliance and respected the safety
distances described in G: Technical characteristics.
We must take special care in those fireplaces with wooden shelves or similar: we must prevent
and avoid the possibility of hot air that expels the device falls directly on the wood, in these cases,
flammable items should be properly insulated.
1.10. Ventilation
1.10.1. Ventilation of the fireplace enclosure (C14-C15-C16). In order to have a good air
circulation, some air vents must be placed at the inlet and outlet of the fireplace niche, following
the minimum sections described in the table of Technical features.
The air in the chamber of the device can be conducted to the top of the fireplace or to an adjacent
room. To do this, you have to remove the lids, screw up the collars and connect the pipe (it can be
rigid and galvanized or flexible and made of aluminium) (C17).
1.10.2. External air intake. The necessary air intake for the combustion is possible thanks to a
connector at the bottom rear of the module. (C18). This air intake may be from outside the home,
or a ventilated garage or basement. If this intake is not performed, then this adapter must not be
removed: a conduit from the connector to the lower vent diffuser will be placed instead. Placing an
external grating should not make decrease the air inlet section above indicated. A proper air intake
for combustion inside the fireplace enclosure must be performed, so that it is not completely
sealed.
1.10.4. Ventilation of the device (C19). The device comes from the factory with some openings
at the rear and the sides of the chamber:
-Ventilation with turbine kit (optional). If the device is installed with the turbine kit (optional) it is
not necessary to make additional openings, they are already done.
-Natural convection ventilation (without turbine). If the device is installed without the turbine kit
(optional), then all the lids must be opened (rectangular lids).
CAUTION:
Once all the lids are opened, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO INSTALL
THE VENTILATION KIT (TURBINE) -OPTIONAL- IN THE MODULE
anymore.
1.11. Niche of the fireplace. It must be built with non-combustible materials, never over the module
and always avoiding contact points. There must not contain any flammable or fragile materials
inside, such as wood, wallpaper, glass, chalk paper, etc. Possible appliance adjustments. It is
possible that the installation, the appliance is adjusted, if so, the following steps:
1.12. Inside the fireplace.
1.12.1. Placing the vermiculite pieces inside the fireplace. The vermiculite pieces are already
placed from the factory. To avoid weight at the time of installing these pieces, they can be
removed and, once the fireplace is installed, they must be replaced (C21-C22-C23-C24).
1.13. Placing the deflector shields.

1.13.1. Upper deflector shields (C25-C26-C27). The 2 central shields have three positions to
adjust the draught. It comes from the factory to its most open position and you will have to adjust it
according to the hollow of the conduit.
1.13.2. Bottom deflector shields. Under the upper shields above described, you can find the
bottom shields.
CAUTION:
To prevent these deflector shields to fall during its transportation,
they are blocked by some cardboard pieces located:
–Between the bottom and upper deflector shields
–On the upper deflector shields (access through the outlet flue duct)
1.14. Acceso para limpieza y seguridad. Es aconsejable dejar en el nicho del hogar un acceso
para la limpieza del aparato, el conector de humos y el conducto de la chimenea.
ALL LOCAL, NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN STANDARDS MUST BE COMPLIED WITH
WHENINSTALLING THE APPLIANCE.
Warning: Do not operate or handle any part when the fireplace is working unless using the
exothermic glove.
2.1. First burnings. For proper first burnings, and for a reasonable time, the data on the
maximum loads described in the table of Technical features must be respected.
WARNING:
You must respect the maximum load allowed by the manufacturer of the
logs as well as the height of the recharge.
2.2. Combustion control. In order to get the performance and power of the value table, you must
follow the position settings in the table of Technical features.
2.2.1. Primary register (C28). It is located on the left side hand of the device. This register is used
only for the ignition or to help a poor combustion (this register can be identified by a fire flame).
2.2.2. Secondary register (C29). It is located on the right side hand of the device. It is used to
control and maintain the intensity of the combustion.
An excessive combustion must be avoided as well as too much temperature in the combustion
chamber. A symptom of this overtemperature is the glass bleaching.
Scrolling up and down activates these registers.
WARNING:
The positions indicated are according to technical characteristics table, in
any case these positions must be adapt according to the flue depression and
fuel quality.
2.3. Safety distances. Appliances, furniture and other flammable or breakable items (textiles,
electronics, wood, wallpaper, glass, chalk paper, etc..) must not approach any point of the product
it is seen, and bear in mind that the outputs hot air cannot be objects or flammable items without
safety distances described in the G: Technical characteristics.

2.4. Fire types. This apparatus is an on and off fire. The smoke chamber must be closed except
when being loaded, to avoid any smoke out fuel debris. It is convenient when loading the fireplace,
to avoid any leak or smoke escape.
2.5. Authorized fuel. The appliance should not be used as an incinerator and other fuels that are
forbidden by the manufacturer's authorized. As fuel only use natural wood logs is not advisable
to use resinous wood is allowed.
Are forbidden other fuels, including liquid (sometimes used to start the fire).
The maximum length of the logs should not exceed the length specified in the technical data
according to model ( see Table G: Technical characteristics).
2.6. Loading and reload fuel. It must take into account the maximum authorised load of fuel,
ensuring that when the recharge. The fuel can’t overtake the limit, taking care not to exceed either
in quantity or size to the data specified above (you can see the G: Technical Characteristics).
WARNING - IMPORTANT NOTE:
Interior parts vermiculite SHOULD NOT BE HIT, especially when
done refueling.
If any of these parts are cracked, but is properly placed in your
site, does not alter the proper functioning of NI A POTENTIAL RISK. The device
can be used normally.
These cracks do not pose any manufacturing defects so you do not fall under
warranty.
To light the fire using materials suitable for this purpose, such as fire pads, gel fire, paper and dry
and thin branches. DO NOT USE GASOLINE, SOLVENTS OR ALCOHOL.
To make the procedure ignition follow these steps: placing the burden on the central area of the
database from home, open the register primary and secondary maximum and then fire pledge.
Once the fire is lit, close the primary register to prevent excessive combustion and control the
intensity by the secondary registers.
When the fuel load is reduced you will have to recharge considering data specified above.
2.7. Loading door.
2.7.1. Operation of the guillotine-type opening system. The door is opened from up to down.
This function is very useful for loading the combustible.
2.7.2. Operation of the swing door opening (C30). This function is useful for cleaning or
changing the glass, joints, etc. To open the door, use the specific tool. You have to fit it into the
upper door frame while pulling it to the left and swilling the door down.
2.8. Mechanisms lock. It is absolutely necessary to revise the proper functioning of the guillotine-
type and swing opening systems, as well as the primary and secondary registers, etc. after a long
downtime. It is also recommended to check the external air intakes that supply air for combustion;
they must be free of any blockage.
2.9. Cleaning and maintenance.
2.9.1. Glass cleaning. To clean the glass, the appliance must not be operating. Do not clean with
any liquid either the metal parts of the door or the seal, in order to prevent damage.
2 .9.2. Emptying of the ashtray drawer. Empty the tray only when the device is completely off,
ensuring the ashes do not contain burning embers which may cause a fire; in any case they
must be placed in a metal bucket.
The removal of this tray can be done from the top (C31) or the bottom (C32).
For the latter option, it is possible to acquire a small door with a grating – See section E-F:
Optional components: Feasible inlet diffuser – (ask your distributor Rocal).

2.9.3. Smokestack cleaning. It is necessary to clean the chimney at least once a year. The only
thing to be done is to remove the two deflected panels.
2.9.4. Painting. The heat-resistant paint that lines the inside and outside of the appliance supports
up to 600 ° C temperature and shows a slight characteristic odor disappears early on.
It is also possible that after some time, the paint inside the fireplace wears off due to the liquid
corrosion, fuel or other reasons. In this case, it will be necessary to wear the rusty zones off and
repaint them again
(Use only and exclusively use the spray "spray pint Rocal anticalórica BLACK 600 º C).
2.10. Fire Prevention. No flammable element must be placed the nearest at 1000 mm away from
the fireplace. Special prevention must be taken when children or elderly around. In case of a fire,
move away all people around, close registers and call the Firemen Department.
2.11. Operating the fireplace under certain weather conditions. It is possible that under certain
weather conditions the apparatus doesn’t work properly: smoke mislead or not enough intake.
When observing these phenomena, it is highly recommended to close all air registers and
extinguish the fire.
2.12. Fireplace modification. Any modification must be authorised by means of writing on behalf
of Manufacturas Rocal SA. It is also compulsory to use the spare pieces recommended by
Manufacturas Rocal SA.
