Field of application
This helmet is specically designed for
mountain climbing, rock climbing, rescue and
working at heights.
Instructions for use
This product is part of personal safety
equipment. Read the above documentation
carefully before using the product. Be careful
to read and observe the following instructions
for use. This product is specically designed
for mountain climbing, climbing, working at
heights, underground works, and industrial
use and it does not exempt the user from
personal liability for the related risks.
Activities carried out at heights (either sports
or industrial) involve serious risks and danger
for the head. Injuries cannot be ruled out
completely. In order to guarantee the highest
level of safety during such activities, it is
necessary to use equipment in compliance
with the current regulations and to use it
properly. The following instructions for use
are important in order to ensure correct use.
However, they cannot replace experience,
personal liability and awareness of individual
users concerning the risks related to climbing,
mountain climbing, working at heights and
industrial work, such instructions do not
exempt from personal liability due to the
related risks. Use is only permitted to trained
and skilled people or under the supervision
of an expert. The producer denies liability for
improper and/or incorrect use of the product.
Liability and risk rest entirely with the user. In
the case of use in rescue or PPE operations,
it is highly recommended to observe national
regulations on the matter.
Warning
this product shall be used by trained skilled
persons only otherwise the user shall be
constantly supervised by said persons,
who shall guarantee for their safety, you
are personally responsible for knowing this
product, learning how to use it and all the
safety precautions involved. Before using this
equipment you must read and understand all
instructions for use, et specic training in
its proper use, become acquainted with its
capabilities and limitations, understand and
accept the risks involved. Failure to heed any
of these warnings may result in severe injury
or death.
Instructions for use - Adjustments
In order to assure a safe protection, this
helmet must be adjusted to t the user’s head
dimensions. The helmet must be adjusted to
t the head properly so that it does not rock
side to side or move when the chin strap is
locked and the slider is in the correct position
based on the head perimeter. The helmet will
only oer the highest level of protection if this
adjustment is done correctly. A perfect and
safe adjustment on the head is guaranteed
only if the chin strap is locked and tightened
and with a correct adjustment to the cranial

perimeter. The straps must not cover the ears
and the buckle must not touch the chin. The
locked chin strap must not exert pressure on
the larynx. The helmet must be
adjusted on
the head always in a horizontal position so that it
protects the forehead as well.

system open
2. lock the size adjust system by rotating the
back wheel
3. lock the chin strap buckle. A locking “click”
must be heard. Tighten the strap so that the
buckle is properly locked
4. adjust the chin strap
5. check the correct position of the helmet
and the correct locking of the systems (buckle
and back size adjust system).
If the helmet is worn correctly, it must not
move or rock side to side. The better the
helmet adjustment, the higher the level of
safety.
Check before use
Before use, check the state of the shell
and harness system, check the state of the
chin strap and stitching. Check if the size
adjustment system and chin strap buckle work
properly.
All components and accessories, if any, should
be visually inspected prior to each use for
signs of dents, cracks, penetration, and any
damage due to impact, rough treatment,
or wear that might reduce the degree of
protection originally provided. A helmet with
worn, damaged or defective parts should be
removed from service.
Changes to original components
The possible change or removal of original
components of the product can limit its safety
features. It is highly recommended that no
modications or adjustments are made to the
equipment to add further components unless
explicitly advised so by the manufacturer in
writing. Apply colours, solvents, glue or sticky
labels only if they comply with the information
provided by the manufacturer.
Warning! The products must not be
exposed to dangerous conditions and
improper treatments.
Avoid contact with corrosive or aggressive
substances (such as: acids, bases, ux for
welding, oils, detergents). Avoid exposure to
high temperatures, for instance by leaving the
helmet inside a vehicle exposed to sunlight.
Avoid contact with heat or sparks. Do not sit
on the helmet and do not compress the helmet
in a sack. Avoid contact with sharp objects.
Avoid letting the helmet fall.
Temperature of use
The product (dry state) may be used
permanently in the temperature range of
-20°C to +50°C. The duration of the product
depends on the typology and frequency of
use and well as on external factors. Although
not used, the helmet is subject to ageing
due to the intensity of UV rays and weather
conditions.
LIFETIME OF THE HELMET
Normal use
Duration in case of normal and proper use,
without evident wear marks and under
optimal storage conditions: 10 years from
manufacture date.

Maximum duration of the product under
optimal storage conditions and if not
used: 15 years.
Very frequent use or under
extreme conditions
If the product is used under extreme
conditions, very high or very low temperatures,
sea water, or if exposed to frequent blows and
shocks due to the fall of stones/ice and if it
presents many scratches, its safety features
could be reduced even after a brief period of
use so that the product should be replaced.
This helmet is designed to absorb the
energy after an impact. The absorption of
the blow occurs through the partial breaking
or damaging of the shell or the internal part
of the helmet. After a strong impact (blow,
fall of stones or ice) the helmet must be
replaced even if it does not present visible
damages. The same applies in the case of deep
scratches or if the product gets into contact
with chemicals.
Storage and transportation
Store the product in a dry and cool place,
not exposed to sunlight, chemicals and at a
temperature between 5 and 35 °C. Store the
product without exposing it to mechanical
fatigue originating from crushing, pressure
or traction. During transportation protect the
product from direct sunlight, chemicals, dirt
and mechanical damages. Use a protective
bag or special containers for safe-keeping and
transportation.
Cleaning
Clean dirty products in warm water (if needed,
also with neutral soap). Rinse thoroughly with
water. Never dry the product in a dryer or near
heaters and radiators but at room temperature.
If needed, use also available non-halogen
disinfectants.

Two years against material or manufacturing
faults. Normal wear, oxidation, changes, bad
preservation and dierent uses are excluded
from warranty.
