フェライト・コアの取り付け方
R-1 をお使いになる前に必ずフェライト・コアを取り付けてください。
AC アダプターを接続する前に、以下の手順に従って、同梱のフェライト・コアを
AC アダプターのコードに取り付けてください。
電磁ノイズ防止用ですので取り外さないでください。

1. フェライト・コアを AC アダプターのコードに取
り付けます。
※ 必ず、プラグの間近に取り付けてください。

2. コードをフェライト・コアに 1 周巻き付けます。

3. カチッと音がするまで押し込みます。
※ フェライト・コアを取り付けるとき、指などを挟まないようにご注意ください。
※ フェライト・コアを閉めるとき、コードを無理に挟まないでください。

AC アダプターの接続に関するご注意
AC アダプタ ーをお使い にな
るときは、R-1 本体の AC ア
ダプター端子（DC IN）に、AC
アダプタ ーのプラグの 金属部
分が見え なくなるまで しっか
りと押し込んでください。
プラグが 浮いていたり 途中で
止まって いるような接 続状態
である と、いったんは 動作し
ても振動 やプラグの傾 き具合
によって は電源の供給 が途切
れてしまうことがあります。
再生中の巻き戻しや早送りについて
16bit ／ 24bit WAV ファイルの再生中の操作についてのご注意です。
これらのファイルを再生中に、巻き戻しや早送りの操作を行なうと、コンパクトフラッ
シュの種類によっては 、データの読み込み速度が間に合わず、巻 き戻しや早送りの動
作が停止してしまうことがあります。
このよう なときは、いっ たん停止ボ タンを押し て再生を終 了してくださ い。その後、
もう一度再生を行ってください。
使用上のご注意
設置条件によっては本 体や接続されたマイクの金属部に触れる と違和感を覚えたりざ
らつくような感じにな るときがあります。これは人体に全く害 のない極微量の帯電に
よるものですが、気になる方は、必要に応じて電池でご使用ください。

Attaching the Ferrite Core
Before using the R-1, make sure to attach the ferrite core.
Before you connect the AC adaptor, you must attach the included ferrite core to
the AC adaptor’s cord as described below.
The ferrite cores block electromagnetic noise; do not remove them.
1. Open the ferrite core and position it over the
cord.
* Make sure to position it so it's close to the plug.
2. Wrap the cord around the ferrite core; one
turn is enough.
3. Close it firmly; you should hear a distinct
sound as it clicks shut.
* Take care not to get your fingers pinched when attaching the ferrite core.
* Make sure you don't apply undue force and damage the cord when clamping on the
ferrite core.

Caution when connecting the AC adaptor
When using the AC adaptor,
you must insert the AC
adaptor plug all the way into
the AC adaptor jack (DC IN)
of the R-1 so that the metal
portions are no longer visible.
If the plug is loose or not fully
inserted, the R-1 may operate
for a while, but the power
supply will be interrupted
when the unit is subjected to
vibration or when the angle
of the plug changes.
Rewinding or fast-forwarding during
playback
This is a note of caution regarding operations while playing 16-bit/24-bit WAV files.
With some types of CompactFlash cards, performing fast-forward or rewind operations
while playing back these files will exceed the maximum speed at which data can be
read, causing the fast-forward or rewind operation to halt.
If this occurs, press the Stop button to stop playback. Then, start playback again.
Important Note
Depending on the conditions in which you use the R-1, you may notice a slight
sensation of discomfort or roughness when touching the R-1 itself or a metal part of a
connected mic. This is due to an extremely small electrical charge which poses
absolutely no danger to the human body. If this bothers you, you can use the R-1 on
battery power as desired.
