A. Reawaken From Sleep Mode
1. Use paper Clip to press rest button
2. Check for Battery level on screen.
If low use usb charger to fully charge.
3. Test shades pairing with up or down buttons.
• If paired, move to Section “___” Installation
• If not paired, go to either Section “____” for
specic motor manufaturer
Note: Once plugged into Sun Sensor, you may plug the other
end into any port you have available.

If shades are paired (Both Somfy and RAS):
1. If shades are paired and sunshine is enabled there will be a
number next to the sun image on the screen with the arrows.
2. The shades will also be able to operate by using the arrows.
3. If both steps one and two work, then Date and Time can
be set.
a. Conguration > Date and Time
4. Eclipse can now be mounted in the window frame.

C. Install Sun Sensor
1. Install Sun Sensor into bracket.
2. Sun Sensor installation check
Note: Must be at least two screws installed into Sun Sensor.
Note 2: Make sure screen and buttons are facing you.

Roll-A-Shade Eclipse Pairing:
WHEN SHADES ARE NOT PAIRED
1. To pair shades to Eclipse, go to Main Menu > Shade Pairing >
Pair with shade > Make sure shade is on > Either press button
on motor head OR press programming button on back of remote
8 times > shade will jog to show complete.
a. Shades will now be paired

2. Make sure Sun Sensor is enabled to detect sun.
a. Main Menu > Sunshine > Enable
3. To conrm everything is set up, you will see a sun and a
number next to it on the a same screen with the arrows. You can
test the shades by conrming they raise and lower by manual
pressing the arrows.
4. Final step in programming is to set date and time.
a. Conguration > Date and Time
5. The Eclipse is now ready to be mounted into the window.

Somfy Eclipse Pairing:
WHEN SHADES ARE NOT PAIRED BUT YOU HAVE A
REMOTE TRANSMITTER
1. Use your remote or wall switch to put shades in
programming mode.
a. Press the programming button on back of remote with
paperclip until shade jogs.
b. QUICKLY switch to Eclipse and go all the way to the left to
copy and paste the programming into the eclipse.
i. The screen with the arrows will quickly ash
“PROG” to show the Eclipse is in
programming mode.
c. The shades are now paired.
2. Make sure Sun Sensor is enabled to detect sun.
a. Main Menu > Sunshine > Enable.
3. To conrm everything is set up, you will see a sun and a
number next to it on the a same screen with the arrows. You
can test the shades by conrming they raise and lower by
manualpressing the arrows.
4. Final step in programming is to set date and time.
a. Conguration > Date and Time.
5. The Eclipse is now ready to be mounted into the window.

Roll-A-Shade®warrants Eclipse to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years when used properly and
operated under normal conditions from the date of purchase. If Eclipse is found to be defective and covered by the warranty,
we will, at our option, repair or replace it free of charge. This product warranty does not cover any conditions or damages
resulting from misuse or abuse, accidents, alterations, neglect, damage by others, natural disasters, exposure to the elements,
or failure to follow Roll-A-Shade’s instructions with respect to installation, use and maintenance. The repair or replacement of
defective product is the purchaser’s sole remedy and the limit of Roll-A-Shade’s obligation. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED
IN THIS PARAGRAPH, ROLL-A-SHADE®MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, NATURE OR

Click “Orientation”. (E) You will see four different options of display
orientations.
Note: Selection orientation in the display settings to adjust to
the following direction: top, bottom and/or side installation etc.
