RA280 Stereo Power
Amplifier
The RA280 is a stereo 80 WRMS/channel audio
power amplifier in a standard 19" 2U rack format.
It is intended for pro-audio and musical applica-
tions, and is ideal for a studio monitor amplifier,
small PA systems, or as a midrange/treble driver in
high power systems. The RA280 is a CD servo type
amplifier and is built solid with a painted steel
chassis, anodized aluminum front panel, a special
high performance toroid transformer, and fused
power lines. The MOSFET output stage is fault
protected and helps the RP280 forgive momentary
output shorts. CAUTION: As with all convection
cooled power amplifiers the heat sink (rear panel
fins) must have proper ventilation.
