This should be in position 2 when you want to
pull a vacuum.
When you want to use the water wash system
this should be in position 1.
Please note that the mixing blade will not run
until the Plexiglas lid is in position.
Vacuum / Water control switch.
When the mixing blade control switch is in
position 2 and this switch is in position 2 the
vacuum pump will run.
When the mixing blade switch is in position
land this switch is in position 1 the water valve
will open and begin to introduce water into the
mixing charnber.

Setup and Installation
A few simple steps to gettiing your Vac-U-Vest 12 &15 into operation.
With the machine removed from its shipping crate, once in position you
can use the anti-vibration feet to level the machine. Once leveled,
tighten the locking screw on each foot to secure it.
The machine will arrive to you with the control box in the shipping
position. Unscrew the locking screw in the swivel bush with a 3mm allen
key, rotate the controlbox to the open position and then lightly tighten
the locking screw again to secure its position.

Ensure that the pouring valve is in the closed position.
Push the mixing chamber handle back to raise the mixing chamber and rotate it to the right hand
side.
Load asks into the ask chamber.
Close the rnixing chamber back over the ask chamber and pull the handle forwards to lower the
mixing chamber and seal the chambers together.
Rotate the turntable control wheel and ensure that all of of the asks align correctly under the
pouring valve.
Weigh out the investment powder not exceeding the machines maximum. Vac-U-Vest 12 is max
12kg dry powder, Vac-U-Vest 15 is m&x 15kgs dry powder.
Measure out the correct amount of water.
Make sure that the exhaust valve is closed and the vacuum valve is turned to on.
Always load the water into the mixing chamber before the powder.
Secondly load the powder into the mixing chamber and the place the plexiglas lid into position.
Turn on the mixing blade (Left hand switch to position 2) and turn on the vacuum pump (right hand
switch position 2) monitor the vacuum gauge to be sure an adequate level is achieved.
Monitor the mixing time carefully, when mixed for the correct amount of time check that the ask is
positioned under the pouring valve and slowly open the valve to ll the ask.
Once all asks have been lled, turn the left hand switch on the control panel to position 1 and turn
the right hand switch to position 1 for around 20 seconds to add water and initiate the cleaning
process. After 20 seconds turn the right hand switch back to position 0.
When your happy to remove the asks open the exhaust valve slowly to release the vacuum.
Push the lifting handle back and rotate the mixing chamber so that the pouring valve is positioned
over the waste sink. (Make sure your waste bwcket in positioned correctly to catch excess slurry).
Ensure both control switches are now at position 0.
Use the water gun to wash the mixing chamber thoroughly, cleanliness is crucial.
Use the turntable control wheel to rotate the turntable and position the additional asks.
