Unpack item
Decide where it is to be placed, considering potential risks and hazards in the surrounding
space.
Place on an even floor.
Decide how the beanbag will be used, positioned to support the user.
Help user transfer safely into an appropriate position for use (if appropriate).
Ensure client is supervised using this product at all times.
10. Detailed Description
This giant oval beanbag is suitable for children or adults. It can accommodate one adult or several
children (depending on their size). It comprises of two different fabrics which contrast with
texture for tactile discrimination whilst providing visual stimulation with patterned and plain
decoration. Can be used as a seating item just for relaxation or an area to sit whilst engaging in
other activities.
11. Safety
For indoor use only.
For daytime use –it is not intended to be slept upon.
For 3 years and over.
The beanbag should not be mouthed.
Remove all packaging before use and store or dispose of this appropriately.
Keep and use away from sources of heat e.g. fire, radiators etc

Remove all packaging and either store this in a safe place out of reach of clients or dispose of this
responsibly. Plastic bags and wrapping can be hazardous to children and vulnerable people.
This product contains a foam or bead filling. The beads in the bead filling are small parts and
should always remain out of reach. Do not attempt to access the interior part of this product.
Never allow children or vulnerable people to access the interior part of this product.
Should any seams or the zip become damaged, contact ROMPA®immediately to arrange repair or
replacement. Should the product require re-filling, contact ROMPA®immediately to discuss this.
Keep away from sources of heat and fire.

13. Installation
Unpack the product and dispose carefully of packaging materials.
Use the beanbag according to client need. Decide if they need to use lying or in a sitting position
and if they need assistance transferring to use the item.
Please ensure that when positioning the beanbag in a space that a risk assessment of the
surrounding space has been carried out to ensure the safety of the user and other people. Ensure
that walkways and doors are not obstructed and that the item is not positioned near to sharp
edges such as furniture corners etc to minimize potential risk if client/s move around.

14. Care and Maintenance
Keep away from sharp and pointed objects.
The cushion is intended to be sat on –not jumped on.
If the cushion is too firm for the user, you may wish to remove a small amount of the filling
(keep this in a safe place for use at a future date).
Regularly check the Giant Oval Beanbag for wear and tear. Discontinue use till repaired or
replaced.
The outer may be unzipped and removed for cleaning.
Wash with care. This product can be machine-washed using a hand wash setting
at 30ºC. If your washing machine does not have such a setting, wash by hand.
Do not use bleach.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
The outer may be air-dried or tumble-dried at a low setting.
Brush the fur after drying to restore the pile.
Make sure the outer is thoroughly dry before use.
FABRIC MAINTENANCE
If you look after your soft cushioning it should give you many years of service.
But please observe the following:-
1. Fabric may wear, tear or “rub off” if subjected to sharp objects or continual rubbing by hard
objects. Avoid shoes, buckles or sharp/hard objects.
2. Organise a regular cleaning schedule.
Wipe off accidental marks/liquids using a mild detergent and a damp cloth, avoiding excessive
amounts of water. Do not use cleaners with abrasives in them or solvent-based cleaners such
as trichloroethane or carbon tetrachloride. Liquid detergents used to wash cups/plates etc. are
ideal. Do not steam clean.
3. From time to time lift beanbags to clean all surfaces and the floor underneath.

On peut défaire la fermeture éclair pour enlever l’extérieur pour le nettoyage.
Lavez avec soin. On peut laver ce produit à machine (un réglage bas à 30ºC. Si
votre machine n’a pas un tel réglage, il faut laver l’extérieur à main.
Ne pas se servir de l’eau de Javel.
Ne pas repasser.
Ne pas nettoyer à sec.
On peut sécher l’extérieur à l’air ou à machine (un réglage bas).
Brosser le faux pelage après le séchage.
Vérifiez que l’extérieur est sec avant de l’utiliser de nouveau.

O exterior pode ser desapertado e removido para limpeza.
Lave com cuidado. Este produto pode ser lavado na máquina num programa de
lavagem manual a 30º. Se a sua máquina não possuir um programa assim, lave à
mão.
Não utilize lixívia.
Não passe a ferro.
Não lave a seco.
O exterior pode secar ao natural ou na máquina de secar a uma temperatura baixa.
Escove o pelo depois de secar para restaurar a forma.
Verifique se o exterior está devidamente seco antes de utilizar.
