HEATING USAGE INSTRUCTIONS - GB
This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use

I. GENERAL SECURITY
For the overall safety of the user it is best to observe the following safety requirements:
DO NOT USE the unit in explosive spaces or in the presence of flammable gases or vapors.
Make sure the distance from all flammable substances, walls, ceilings or anything else, is at
least 1 metre.
Do not install the heating unit under a power socket.
Warning! To prevent overheating, DO NOT COVER. DO NOT BLOCK AIR VENTS.
DO NOT USE in bathrooms, showers, near swimming pools and, in general, wet areas.
DO NOT connect to thermostats, temporizers or other external devices for operation in
automation. Closely monitor the device during use.
Install only in a stable vertical position.
DO NOT use device if external panels or protective grille have been removed. This is
dangerous for the user.
DO NOT TOUCH THE EXTERNAL SURFACES OF THE UNIT DURING OPERATION AND FOR AT
LEAST 10 MINUTES AFTER TURNING OFF. BURN HAZARD!
DO NOT use if any parts are damaged or broken (heating elements, fan, etc.).
Turn off and unplug the power outlet before handling or moving the machine.
DO NOT expose the power cord to heat. Frequently check the condition of the cable. If the
cable is damaged, there is a danger to the user. Do not change the cable on your own. The
heating unit should be returned to the service to be replaced by qualified personnel.
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or
mental disability, or persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless supervised by a person
responsible for their safety, supervision or instruction concerning use of the device.
You must watch children to make sure they do not play with the apparatus.

temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons

II. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION SINGLE-PHASE 230V 50 Hz (3.3kW)
These models are equipped with cable and plug and must be connected to a network of 230V 50Hz
by a socket + grounding.

III. USAGE
SET-UP - HEATING
Make sure you have correctly installed and connected the device
Set the power switch to the desired position.
Set the room thermostat to the desired temperature.

NOTE: if the room thermostat is set to a temperature below the air temperature, the unit will not
heat. In this case, turn the thermostat knob to a higher temperature.
SUMMER VENTILATION
To use the unit as a fan, set the power switch on the ventilation-only position.
TURN OFF (FANSTOP 3.3 Kw Models)
-Turn the power switch to (fan) position for about 2 minutes to allow the device to cool
down.
-Turn the power switch to O (OFF) to stop the unit completely.
WARNING
NEVER UNPLUG TO STOP THE UNIT.
DANGER OF OVERHEATING!
SAFETY THERMOSTAT - RESET
CAUTION: BEFORE PERFORMING THE OPERATIONS DESCRIBED BELOW TURN THE POWER OFF,
DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER SOURCE AND MAKE SURE IT IS COMPLETELY COOLED
The unit is equipped with a safety thermostat that kicks in and shuts the unit off to keep it from
overheating. If this happens:
Find and eliminate the cause of the overheating: obstructed sections of venting, air
temperature too high, etc.
Turn off the power and let it cool for a few minutes
To reset the thermostat, press the RESET button ALL THE WAY DOWN, located on the control
panel, using a pointed tool.
If the unit does not restart, or the safety thermostat continues to intervene, turn it off and
contact qualified trained personnel for service.
IV. HANDLING
WARNING

BEFORE ANY HANDLING OPERATIONS STOP THE UNIT,
DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER SOURCE AND MAKE SURE THAT
IT IS COMPLEMENT COOLED (SEE ITEM 3)
Periodically clean the unit with compressed air.
Frequently check the condition of the power cable. If the cable is damaged, there is a danger
to the user. Do not change the cable on your own. The heating unit should be returned to the
service to be replaced by qualified personnel.
ALL REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS MUST BE PERFORMED EXCLUSIVELY BY TRAINED PERSONNEL.
