Basic Operation
1. Basic Operation
1.1 Powering the system
•Power on
For initial power on, press the power button.
If the car was turned off while unit was still
on, the unit will turn on automatically the next time the car
is re-started.

To power off, press &hold power button.

Touch the screen, and "Home page"
icon will be displayed on the upper
left corner
of the screen. Press the
"Home page" icon to enter the main
menu.

Basic Operation
I. 3Spectrum Display
While the spectrum display is enabled,
screen will automatically switch to
spectrum mode
if there is no operation
within
10 seconds when playing in
radio.
Column Spectrum I
Touch "Spectrum mode" to switch among different spectrum display modes (as figure
shows).
To disable spectrum display, enter System Setup from the Setup menu and
touch "Spectrum" button.

Basic Operation
1. 5Volume Adjustment
Press the volume adjustment button or turn the left knob on the panel to adjust the
volume.

Touch /icon to seek previous or next available stations.
To program the station, press &hold preset station button.
2. 14 Band Selection
Touch "Band" icon to switch
among FMI, FM2, FM3 and AM.

Select the band rust, and then press
and hold one
of the preset bars
to set the station.
Selected station will be highlighted
For example: The figure on the right
represents
FMl, M6 station, and
frequency
of 108.0 Mhz.

2. 21 PTY(Program Type)
Press the "PTY" icon on the screen to enable/disable the PTY Function. If enabled,
PTY will be highlighted.
Touch "<or>" to browse PTY choices which are displayed in the "PTY" fields.Ifa
PTY
is selected,SEEK will only deek stations in this PTY.
If PTY is disabled ,the current PTY will be displayeds ..
2.22 AF (Alertnative Frequencies)
Press the "AF" icon on the screen, To enable or disable the AF feature of
RDS. When AF is enabled seeking will search for RDS signals automatically.

If an RDS signal is received, the

on screen in the top right corner.
After ashort time, the channel name and style will be displayed
in the "PS" and
"PTY" fields.
If there is DO PTY signal, PTY will display

If the RDS signal becomes weaker, it will switch to another frequency broadcasting
the same station automatically. When RDS
is disabled, the "@..;" icon will disappear.

SD Card
If the system is equipped with amulti-media SD card port, this operation is available.
•Inserting/Removing an SD card
Open the monitor and insert the SD card.
To remove the SD card, exit from SD card playing status first, and then press the SD card
to eject the card automatically.
Enter SD Card Play Mode
While in DVD mode, touch the
"Home page" icon
to enter home
page menu, and then touch

to enter SD card playing mode.
The operation is the same as an MP3 disc. For detailed information, please refer to "play
MP3
disc".

USB
•Inserting /Removing USB
To use USB input, insert USB directly or through USB adapter cable included
with system.
To remove the USB, exit first.

Function

While in DVD mode touch the
"Home page" icon
to enter home
page menu, and then touch m
to access USB play mode.
After the USB
is read, the operation is the same as for playing MP3 disc.

If the system has both multi-media SD card and USB, touch "DVD" once to
access SD card play, touch twice to access USB, and touch three times to
access disk play.
