Preparation for use
1. Install the appliance on a dry, level and heat-resistant work top.
2. Clean the inner surfaces of the appliance with a moist cloth, before
you use it for the first time. Wipe it dry with another (dry) cloth
immediately after.
3. Rinse the gathering tray and the measuring spoon in warm water
with a bit of washing-up liquid.
ADVICE:
For cleaning the appliance and accessories, do not use hard or
scratching materials, abrasive cleansers or aggressive
cleaners. Do not wash the accessories in the dishwasher!
4. Place the preparing bowl in the brackets, to the left and right. When
doing this, make sure that the lid of the bowl is at the front and that
the device is mounted correctly.
5. Screw the crank, in a counter-clockwise motion, into the appropriate
opening in the bowl.
6. Plug the power cord into the socket at the bottom of the preparing
bowl.
7. Place the gathering tray underneath the preparing bowl, at the
bottom of the appliance.
Utilization
1. Make sure that there are no foreign bodies in the preparing bowl.
2. Plug the power cord into a wall socket.
3. Turn on the popcorn maker with the ON/OFF switch, located at the
top left of the appliance. To this end, flip the switch to position I.
4. Pre-heat the preparing bowl for 3-5 minutes.
5. Deactivate the appliance, by flipping the ON/OFF switch to
position 0.
6. Empty a small measuring spoon of vegetable oil into the preparing
bowl.
7. To this, add a large measuring cup of corn kernels.
8. Add a pinch of salt or sugar to taste.
9. Close the door and activate the device by pressing the ON/OFF switch.
ADVICE:
Please keep the door closed during use.
10. After a little while, you will start to hear the typical sound of popping
corn.
11. When the sound has died down, overturn the preparing bowl using
the crank. This will deposit the popcorn into the gathering tray.
12. Deactivate the appliance, by flipping the ON/OFF switch to
position 0.
13. Activate the heating lamp with the ON/OFF switch, located at the
top right of the appliance. This wil keep the popcorn warm. To
achieve this, flip the switch to position I.
14. If you wish to prepare more popcorn, turn off the appliance and
repeat steps 6 through 11.
15. When you are finished preparing popcorn, remove the power plug
from the wall socket and let the appliance cool down.
WARNING!
The preparing bowl will heat up severely. Never touch
it with your hands without the use of a potcloth.
Cleaning
1. Wait until the appliance has cooled down completely.
2. Make sure the appliance is not plugged in.
Open the door and unplug the power cord from the bottom of the
preparing bowl.
4. Unscrew the crank in a clockwise motion.
5. Remove the preparing bowl from it's brackets, to the left and right.
6. Fill up the bowl with hot and soapy water and let it soak for about
15 to 20 minutes.
7. Empty out the bowl and remove any residue with a soft sponge.
Don't use an abrasive sponge or aggressive cleaner.
8. Rinse the bowl with clear water and wipe it dry.
9. Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the appliance with a moist
cloth or a soft sponge. Wipe everything dry with a soft, dry and
clean cloth. Don't use an abrasive sponge or aggressive cleaner.

10. Wash the accessories and measuring cups by hand. They are not
suitable to be washed in a dishwasher.
11. Store the appliance in a dry and dust free environment.
WARNING!
Never plunge the preparing bowl into water. Take care
not to let the heating system of the bowl get wet!
Changing the lightbulb
1. When the lightbulb is no longer functioning, first remove the appliance
from the power supply.

Wait until every part of the machine has cooled down.
Unscrew the lightbulb at the bottom of the lid of the appliance
in a counter-clockwise motion.
4. Replace the lightbulb with a similar bulb, 220 to 240 V, 50 Hz and
10 W.
5. Reconnect the appliance to the power supply after you have
replaced the lightbulb.

(even from small heights) might damage it.
•Protect the appliance from extreme heat and humidity.
•Never plunge the appliance or the preparation bowl into water or
other liquids.
•The appliance is not suitable for dishwashers.
•This device is not meant to be operated by persons (including
children) with limited sensory or mental ability, without experiance
and/ or knowledge of the proper operation of the appliance, unless
they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety
and who can supply advice on proper operation. Children need to
be supervised to make sure they are not using the appliance as a toy.
•Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in use!
•Make sure you will not trip over the power cord. The cord should
not dangle from the installation surface, to prevent the appliance
from falling down. Never pull the cord to move the appliance.
•Always remove the appiance from the power supply when you
want to clean it, or are not using it.
•The preparation bowl will heat up severely. Never touch it with
your bare hands, without the use of a potcloth. Risk of injury!
•Always turn off the appliance when you are not making popcorn.
•Technical changes and errors excepted!
