CHANGING THEBATTERY
This unitrunsona 9V alkalinebattery. It is
recommended that either 'Duracell' or 'Energizer'
brands be used.
To changethebattery,pleaserefer to thediagram
below.

Simply slidetheentrypadhousingupand
carefullypull it awayfromthemountingsurface
toexposethebatterycompartment.
The batteryconnector is easilyremoved by
unclipping it fromtheterminalsontop of the
battery. Care mustbetaken to ensure that the
wiresleadingfromthebatteryconnectorto the
entrypadarenotpulledoutfromthehousing.
Once thebatteryhasbeenchanged,carefully
positiontheentrypadbackoverthemounting
screws andslidetheentrypadbackinto
position. Ensurethere arenowiresorcables
trappedbetweentheentrypadandthesafe
door.
