GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
This product is a part of a high pressure system and the following safety precautions must be
followed at all times along with any other existing safety rules.
1. Read all manuals included with these product carefully. Be thoroughly familiar with the
controls and the proper use of the equipment.
2. Only persons well acquainted with these rules of safe operation should be allowed to use
the air tool.
3. Do not exceed any pressure rating of any component in the system.
4. Disconnect the air tool from air supply before changing tools or attachments, servicing and
then not in use.
5. Always wear safety glasses during operation.
6. Do not wear loose fitting clothing, scarves, or neck ties. Loose clothing may become caught
in moving parts and result in serious personal injury.
7. Do not wear jewellery when operating any tool. Jewellery may become caught in moving
parts and result in serious personal injury.
8. Do not depress trigger when connecting the air supply hose.
10. Never trigger the tool when not applied to a work object. Attachments must be securely
attached. Loose attachments can cause serious injury.
11. Protect air lines from damage or puncture.
12. Never point an air tool at oneself or any other person. Serious injury could occur.
13. Check air hoses for weak or worn condition before each use. Make sure all connections are
secure.
WARNING!: RELEASE ALL PRESSURE FROM THE SYSTEM BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL, SER-
VICE, RELOCATE OR PERFORM ANY MAINTENANCE.
14. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
15. Do not put hands near or under moving parts.
LUBRICATION
This air tool REQUIRES lubrication BEFORE the initial use and BEFORE and AFTER each additional
use. Proper lubrication is the owner's responsibility. Failure to lubricate the air tool properly
will dramatically shorten the life of the tool and will void the warranty.
If your air system does not include and automatic oiler then it must be oiled manually.

The motor must be lubricated daily.
WARNING!: DISCONNECT THE AIR TOOL FROM THE AIR SUPPLY BEFORE LUBRICATING.
1. Disconnect the impact wrench from the air supply.
2. Turn the tool upside down so the air inlet faces upward.
3. Put 2 or 3 drops of air tool oil in the air inlet.
4. Reconnect the air supply and run the tool for a couple of seconds.
5. Clean any excessive oil from the air exhaust of the tool.

CHANGING CUT-OFF WHEELS
1. Remove the cap screw holding the cut-off wheel.
Remove the cut-off wheel.
2. Check condition of new cut-off wheel. Never use
wheels that are cracked, chipped or damaged in any way.
3. Centre new cut-off wheel on arbor. Make sure cut-off
wheel is rated above the RPM of air tool.
Securely tighten cap screw.
WARNING!: Cut-off wheels must be securely fastened to the tool. Only use 3” max.
diameter cut-off wheels rated at or above tool rated RPM.
WARNING!: Do not use the tool without the safety guard in place.

WARRANTY:
This product has been manufactured to a high quality standard. It is guaranteed
against faulty materials and workmanship for 36 months from the date of purchase.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.
If the product is found to be defective within the relevant time period, we will either
replace all defective parts or, at our discretion, replace the unit free of charge.
This warranty will not apply:
(i) where this product has been subjected to misuse, abuse, accident or want of care;
(ii) where this product has been used for a purpose for which it was not designed or is
not suited;
(iii) where the service of this product has been undertaken by a non-authorised person
or company or if non-approved parts have been used;
(iv) where this product has been used for industrial purposes.
Should service become necessary during the warranty period, the purchaser should
contact an Authorised Service Centre or J W Ross. In order to obtain warranty service,
the purchaser must present the store receipt showing the name of the retailer and the
date of purchase.
The period of the warranty begins from the original date of purchase, notwithstanding
any subsequent repair or parts replacement.
Purchaser shall be responsible for all transport charges to and from the Authorised
Service Centre.
Damage in transit is not covered by this warranty. The purchaser should remove from
the product any liquids (if applicable) before sending the tool for service or repair.
Any accessories should be packed securely to prevent damage.
Warranty exclusions
Wear parts or service related parts required when performing normal and regular
maintenance of this product are not covered by warranty unless it is found to be defective
by an Authorised Service Centre. These include, but are not limited to:
accessories, motor vanes, seals, gaskets, air fittings, lubricants, tune-ups, filters.
