 SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Lesen Sie erst alle Hinweise, bevor Sie das Gerät in Be-
trieb nehmen.
o Dieses Gerät kann von Personen mit eingeschränk-
ten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähig-
keiten oder einem Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen verwendet werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt
werden oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des
Geräts unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resul-
tierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
o Dieses Gerät darf nicht von Kindern benutzt wer-
den. Das Gerät und seine Anschlussleitung sind von
Kindern fernzuhalten.
o Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht und
vor dem Zusammenbau, dem Auseinandernehmen
oder Reinigen stets vom Netz zu trennen.
o Achtung! Die Klingen sind sehr scharf. Vorsicht bei
der Handhabung: Verletzungsgefahr!
o Halten Sie das Gerät ausser Reichweite von Kin-
dern.

o Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzspannung mit der
auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes angegebenen
Spannung übereinstimmt.
o Das Gerät nicht länger als 15 Minuten ununter-
brochen betreiben.
o Gerät nie auf heisse Oberflächen stellen oder in der
Nähe von offenen Gasflammen betreiben.
o Nach Gebrauch, vor der Reinigung oder bei evtl.
Störungen während des Betriebes den Netzstecker
ziehen.
o Das Gerät nie ins Wasser tauchen.
o Bei offensichtlichen Schäden an Gerät und An-
schlusskabel, das Gerät von einem Fachmann oder
von unserem Kundendienst überprüfen lassen.
o Für Schäden, die durch nicht in dieser Anleitung
vorgesehene Verwendung verursacht werden,
können wir keine Verantwortung übernehmen.

 INBETRIEBNAHME
o Netzstecker erst nach dem Einsetzen der Messerklingen einstecken!
o Die Messerklingen (1) parallel zueinander legen und den Metallstift der einen Klinge
in den Schlitz der zweiten Klinge schieben.
o Beide Klingen hinter dem Fingerschutz (2) fassen und ins Gerät einschieben bis sie
deutlich hörbar einrasten.
o Den richtigen Sitz prüfen Sie, indem Sie versuchen, die Klingen leicht herauszuziehen
(wir empfehlen Ihnen für diesen Vorgang die mitgelieferte Schutzhülle über die Mess-
erklingen zu schieben, um eventuelle Versetzungen zu vermeiden). Das Gerät ist jetzt
betriebsbereit.
o Durch Drücken der Ein-/Aus-Taste (4), Messer in Betrieb setzen. Damit das Gerät in
Betrieb bleibt, die Taste immer in dieser Position halten.
o Erst jetzt die Klingen durch das Schneidgut führen. Hin- und Herbewegungen sind da-
bei überflüssig, da sich die Messer selbständig bewegen.
o Soll der Schneidvorgang beendet werden, Taste (4) loslassen; das Gerät schaltet ab.
o Nach Gebrauch Netzstecker ziehen.
o Erst jetzt mittels Druck auf die Auswerftaste (3) die Klingen lösen und vorsichtig her-
ausziehen.
 HINWEISE
o Schneiden Sie keine Knochen oder gefrorene Produkte.
o Benützen Sie während des Schneidens eine Holzunterlage.
 REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
o Vor der Reinigung des Gerätes unbedingt den Netzstecker ziehen.
o Gerät nie ins Wasser tauchen.
o Das Gehäuse nur mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen. Keine scharfen und scheuern-
den Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
o Die Klingen können im Geschirrspüler gereinigt werden.

 ENTSORGUNG
o Zur ordnungsgemässen Entsorgung geben Sie das Gerät bitte an einen Händler, den
Kundendienst oder Rotel AG zurück.
o Die Richtlinie 2012/19/EU über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE) legt fest,
dass Haushaltsgeräte nicht mit dem normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden dürfen. Alt-
geräte sind getrennt zu sammeln, um einerseits Wiederverwertung und Recycling zu
optimieren und andererseits potenzielle Gesundheits- und Umweltgefahren zu ver-
hindern. Die durchgestrichene Mülltonne erscheint auf allen Produkten, um die Be-
sitzer an ihre Verpflichtung zur Mülltrennung zu erinnern. Für weitere Informationen
zur fachgerechten Entsorgung von Haushaltsgeräten setzen Sie sich bitte mit ihren
lokalen Behörden oder dem Händler in Verbindung.

 CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Veuillez lire toutes les instructions avant la mise en ser-
vice de l’appareil.
o Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des personnes aux
capacités physiques, sensorielles ou intellectuelles
limitées ou manquant d’expérience ou de connais-
sance si elles sont sous surveillance ou ont été ins-
truites sur l’utilisation sûre de l’appareil et si elles
ont compris les risques pouvant en résulter.
o Cet appareil ne peut pas être utilisé par des enfants.
L’appareil et son cordon d’alimentation doivent
être tenus hors de portée des enfants.
o L’appareil doit toujours être débranché du secteur
lorsqu’il est hors surveillance et avant son assem-
blage, son désassemblage ou nettoyage.
o Attention! Les lames sont très bien aiguisées; le
manier avec précaution, danger de blessure!
o Maintenez l’appareil hors de portée des enfants.
o Veillez à ce que la tension du réseau corresponde
exactement à la tension indiquée sur la plaque si-
gnalétique de l’appareil.

o Ne pas faire fonctionner l’appareil plus de 15 mi-
nutes sans interruption.
o Ne posez jamais l’appareil ou la conduite d’alimen-
tation sur des surfaces chaudes, ou faites fonction-
ner celui-ci à proximité de flammes de gaz sans
protection.
o Toujours débranchez l’appareil après utilisation,
avant tout nettoyage ou lors d’un éventuel déran-
gement pendant le fonctionnement.
o Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau.
o En cas de dommages évidents sur l’appareil ou le
cordon d’alimentation, faites vérifier l’appareil par
un spécialiste ou par notre service après-vente.
o Pour des dégâts provoqués par une utilisation non
prévue dans ces instructions des service, nous ne
porterons aucune responsabilité.

 MISE EN SERVICE
o Ne pas brancher l’appareil avant de l’avoir équipé avec les lames.
o Mettre les 2 lames (1) parallèlement, glisser la cheville d’une lame dans la fente de
l’autre lame.
o Couler ensuite les 2 lames derrière le protège-doigt (2) et les pousser dans l’appareil
jusqu’à ce qu’elles s’accrochent nettement.
o Vérifier la bonne mise en place en tirant légèrement sur les lames (pour ce procéder,
nous vous recommandons de mettre la protection en plastique afin d’éviter des bles-
sures éventuelles).
o En appuyant sur le bouton marche/arrêt (4), mettre en marche le couteau. Pour que
l’appareil reste en marche, toujours maintenir l’interrupteur dans cette position.
o Mettre ensuite les lames dans le produit à couper. Il n’est pas nécessaire de faire un
mouvement de va-et-vient avec le couteau, les lames se déplaçant automatique-
ment.
o Une fois la coup terminée, vous pouvez relâcher le bouton marche/arrêt (4) et l’ap-
pareil s’arrête.
o -Débrancher l’appareil et extraire les 2 lames de l’appareil en appuyant sur la touche
(3), tout en les tirant avec précaution vers l’avant.
 REMARQUES
o Ne pas couper des os ou des produits surgelés.
o Pour toutes les découpes, il est préférable d’utiliser une planche en bois.
 NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
o Avant le nettoyage de l’appareil, il s’agit impérativement de retirer la fiche.
o Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau.
o Nettoyer le boîtier avec un chiffon humide. Ne pas utiliser de produits agressifs ou de
pattes rugueuses.
o Les lames peuvent être lavées dans le lave-vaisselle.

 ÉLIMINATION
o Pour une élimination dans les règles de l’art, veuillez remettre l’appareil à un reven-
deur, un responsable du service après-vente ou Rotel SA.
o Selon la directive européenne 2012/19/UE relative aux déchets d’équipements élec-
triques et électroniques (DEEE), les appareils électroménagers ne doivent pas être
éliminés avec les déchets solides urbains normaux. Les appareils hors d’usage doivent
être collectés séparément pour optimiser le coût de réutilisation et de recyclage des
matériaux contenus dans la machine tout en évitant les risques potentiels pour la
santé publique et l’environnement. Le symbole de poubelle barrée figure sur tous les
produits pour rappeler à leur propriétaire les obligations de tri sélectif des déchets.
Pour de plus amples informations sur la mise au rebut correcte des appareils électro-
ménagers, les consommateurs sont invités à contacter les autorités locales ou ven-
deurs d’électroménagers.

dizione che siano sotto sorveglianza o che abbiano
ricevuto istruzioni sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e
siano consapevoli dei rischi connessi.
o Questo apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato dai
bambini. L'apparecchio e il cavo di alimentazione
devono essere tenuti fuori dalla portata dei bam-
bini.
o L'apparecchio deve essere scollegato dalla rete
elettrica ogniqualvolta lasciato incustodito nonché
prima di essere montato, smontato o pulito.
o Attenzione! Le lame sono molto affilate! Maneggi-
atele con molta prudenza.
o Tenere lontano l'apparecchio da bambini.
o Osservate che la tensione di rete sia identica alla
tensione indicata sull’etichetta del tipo di apparec-
chio.

o L’apparecchio non deve rimanere acceso per più
di 15 minuti
o Non poggiare mai l’apparecchio o il cavo di alimen-
tazione su superfici molto calde né utilizzarlo nelle
vicinanze di una fiamma.
o Staccare sempre la spina dopo l’uso, prima di
procedere alla pulizia e in caso di eventuali guasti
durante il funzionamento.
o Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua.
o In caso di danni evidenti all’apparecchio o al cavo
di alimentazione, farlo riparare soltanto da uno
specialista o dal nostro servizio clienti.
o Non siamo responsabili per danni causati dall’uti-
lizzo dell’apparecchio al di fuori degli usi che sono
oggetto delle presenti istruzioni.

 MESSA IN FUNZIONE
o Non collegare la spina della corrente prima di aver inserito le lame nell’apparecchio!
o Allineare le lame (1) parallelamente e far scorrere il perno di una lama nella scanala-
tura della seconda lama.
o Inserire le due lame nell’apparecchio tenendole dietro la protezione antitaglio (2) e
spingerle finché non si ode uno scatto.
o Per verificare se le lame sono inserite correttamente provare ad estrarle facendo
poca forza (per far ciò vi consigliamo di applicare sulle lame la guaina protettiva al
fine di evitare il pericolo di ferirsi). L’apparecchio è ora pronto per essere utilizzato.
o Premendo il pulsante di accensione/spegnimento (4), per mettere in funzione il col-
tello. Affinché l’apparecchio rimanga in funzione, tenere sempre il tasto in questa
posizione.
o Al momento del taglio le lame devono essere già in movimento. Non è necessario
muovere il coltello avanti e indietro.
o Per cessare di tagliare rilasciare il pulsante (4), l’apparecchio si arresta.
o Dopo l’uso staccare la spina elettrica.
o Premere il tasto di sgancio (3) per rilasciare le lame ed estrarre queste ultime con
cautela.
o Le persone, compresi i bambini, che a causa delle loro capacità psichiche, sensoriali
o mentali o per mancanza di esperienza e conoscenza non sono in grado di utilizzare
il prodotto in modo sicuro, devono utilizzarlo esclusivamente sotto la sorveglianza o
con le indicazioni di una persona responsabile.
 AVVERTENZE
o Non utilizzare l’apparecchio per tagliare ossa o prodotti congelati.
o Non utilizzare taglierei o superfici in metallo o smaltate.
 PULIZIA E CURA
o Prima di pulire staccare la spina dalla presa.
o Non immergere mai l’apparecchio nell’acqua.
o Pulire la carcassa con un panno umido. Non utilizzare detergenti forti o abrasivi.
o Le lame possono essere lavate nella lavastoviglie.

 SMALTIMENTO
o Per lo smaltimento corretto, la macchina deve essere restituita al rivenditore special-
izzato, al servizio di assistenza o alla ditta Rotel AG.
o La Direttiva UE 2012/19/CE sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche
(WEEE) sancisce che gli elettrodomestici non possono essere smaltiti usando il nor-
male ciclo di rifiuti solidi urbani. Le apparecchiature dismesse vanno invece raccolte
separatamente al fine di ottimizzare il costo di riutilizzo e dei materiali di riciclo che
compongono la macchina, escludendo così un danno potenziale alla salute pubblica
e all’ambiente. Il simbolo del bidone su ruote barrato appare su tutti i prodotti per
ricordare ai proprietari le obbligazioni inerenti la raccolta differenziata. I proprietari
dovrebbero rivolgersi alle autorità locali o al rivenditore delle apparecchiature per
raccogliere ulteriori informazioni in merito al corretto smaltimento delle apparec-
chiature stesse.

 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all instructions before using the device.
o This appliance can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge if they have been given su-
pervision or instruction concerning use of the appli-
ance in a safe way and understand the hazards in-
volved.
o This appliance must not be used by children. The ap-
pliance and its connecting cable must be kept away
from children.
o The appliance must be disconnected from the mains
during periods of no supervision and prior to assem-
bling, disassembling or cleaning.
o Caution! The blades are very sharp. Be careful
when you use them: Risk of injury!
o Keep the appliance out of children's reach.
o Make sure that the mains voltage is the same as
the voltage specified on the appliance's rating la-
bel.
o Do not use the appliance for more than 15
minutes without a break.

o Never place the appliance on hot surfaces or use it
near open gas flames.
o Unplug the appliance after use, before cleaning it
or if there are any faults/malfunctions whilst it is in
use.
o Never immerse the appliance in water.
o If there are visible damages to the appliance and
connection cable, ask a specialist or a member of
our customer service to check it.
o We cannot assume any liability for damages caused
by any use not provided for in this manual.

 BEFORE STARTING THE APPLIANCE
o Only plug the mains plug in after you have assembled the blades!
o Place the knife blades (1) next to each other and push the metal pin of one of the
blades into the slot in the other blade.
o Hold both blades from behind the finger guard (2) and insert them into the appliance
until you hear them click into place.
o You can check to see if the blades are in properly by trying to pull them out (when
you do this we advise you to slide the protective cover supplied over the blades in
order to stop them moving out of place). The appliance is now ready for use.
o Pushing the on/off button (4) starts the cutting action of the blades. To ensure the
appliance continues working, keep the button in this position.
o Now you can slice through the food with the blades. You do not need to move the
knife back and forth because the blades are already doing this action for you.
o When you have finished cutting, let go of the button (4) and the appliance will switch
off.
o After use, unplug the appliance.
o Now you can loosen the blades by pressing the release button (3) and pull them out
very carefully.
 NOTE
o Do not cut any bones or frozen products.
o Cut on a wooden chopping board.
 CLEANING AND CARE
o You must always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
o Never immerse the appliance in water.
o Only wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Do not use any sharp and abrasive cleaning
agents.
o The blades can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

 DISPOSAL
o For proper disposal, please return device to a retailer, a service agent or Rotel AG.
o European Directive 2012/19/EC concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment (WEEE) states that household appliances should not be disposed of using the
normal solid urban waste cycle. Exhausted appliances should be collected separately
in order to optimise the cost of re-using and recycling materials comprising the ma-
chine, while preventing potential damage to public health and the environment. The
crossed-out wheeled bin symbol appears on all products to remind owners of the
obligations regarding separate waste collection. Owners should contact their local
authorities or appliance dealers for further information concerning the correct dis-
posal of household appliances.
