SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
oLesen Sie erst alle Hinweise, bevor Sie das Gerät in
Betrieb nehmen.
oDieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab einem Alter von
acht (8) Jahren und von Personen mit
eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder
geistigen Fähigkeiten oder einem Mangel an
Erfahrung und/oder Wissen verwendet werden,
wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Geräts unterwiesen
wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem
Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzerwartung
dürfen nicht durch Kinder ohne Beaufsichtigung
durchgeführt werden.
oAchten Sie darauf, dass die Netzspannung mit der
auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes angegebenen

oDen Wasserkocher nicht auf heissen Oberflächen
abstellen da er dabei schmelzen kann.
oDen Wasserkocher nur mit dem dazugehörigen
Sockel benutzen.
oDen Topf zum Füllen vom Sockel nehmen und nur
reines Wasser, keine Milch, Kaffee oder ähnliches
einfüllen.
oWird das Gerät überfüllt oder mit nicht
verriegeltem Deckel betrieben, kann kochendes
Wasser herausspritzen.
oBenutzen Sie den Wasserkocher nur auf einer
stabilen Oberfläche und tauchen Sie ihn nie ins
Wasser.
oDer Wasserkocher enthält einen Sicherheits-
Temperatur-Begrenzer, der das Gerät automatisch
ausschaltet, wenn er ohne Wasser betrieben wird.
Sollte dies einmal geschehen, ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker und lassen das Gerät abkühlen, bevor
Sie es mit Wasser auffüllen.
oBevor Sie den Wasserkocher das erste Mal
benutzen, füllen Sie ihn mit Wasser und lassen Sie
ihn einmal aufkochen. Dieses Wasser sollten Sie
weggiessen.
oBevor Sie den Wasserkocher vom Sockel abheben
vergewissern Sie sich, dass er sich automatisch

schalten Sie ihn von Hand aus.

Reparaturen an elektrischen Teilen nur vom
Fachmann durchführen lassen.
oFür Schäden, die durch nicht in dieser Anleitung
vorgesehene Verwendung verursacht werden,
können wir keine Verantwortung übernehmen.

INBETRIEBNAHME
oNach dem Füllen nicht vergessen, den Deckel zu schliessen, da sich sonst die
Wasserkanne beim Betrieb nicht automatisch ausschalten kann. Die Wassermenge
im Wasserkocher muss immer zwischen der „Min“ und „Max“ Niveaumarkierung
gehalten werden.
oSetzen Sie die Kanne auf den Sockel und schalten den Wasserkocher ein.
oSobald das Wasser kocht, wird der Wasserkocher automatisch ausgeschaltet. Man
kann das Gerät aber auch jederzeit von Hand ausschalten.
oACHTUNG: Das Gehäuse des Wasserkochers wird sehr heiss. Gerät nur am Griff
anfassen.
Wenn der Wasserkocher automatisch ausgeschaltet hat, muss das gekochte
Wasser ausgegossen werden um nach etwa 15 - 20 Sekunden mit einem neuen
Kochvorgang beginnen zu können. Während dieser Zeit lässt sich der
Wasserkocher nicht einschalten.
ENTKALKEN
oDer Wasserkocher sollte je nach Wasserhärte regelmässig entkalkt werden. Hierzu
handelsübliche, umweltverträgliche Entkalkungsmittel verwenden. Zuerst Wasser,
dann das nicht zu stark dosierte Mittel einfüllen. Die Lösung keinesfalls aufkochen,
da sie sonst überschäumt. Nach dem Entkalken, Kanne gründlich mit klarem Wasser
ausspülen.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
oVor der Reinigung Netzstecker ziehen. Krug und Sockel keinesfalls in Wasser
tauchen. Den Krug gelegentlich ausspülen. Das Geräteäussere nur mit einem
feuchten Tuch reinigen. Keine scharfen und scheuernden Reinigungsmittel
verwenden.
ENTSORGUNG
oFür eine sachgerechte Entsorgung ist das Gerät dem Fachhändler, der Servicestelle
oder der Firma Rotel AG zurückzugeben.

oCet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants de

oNe pas déposez l’appareil sur une surface chaude,
il pourrait fondre.
oN’utilisez l’appareil qu’avec le socle
correspondant.
oPour remplir le pot, détachez ce dernier du socle
et ne le remplir qu’avec de l’eau pure (pas de lait,
café, ou autre liquide semblable).
oDans le cas ou l’appareil est trop rempli ou utilisé
avec le couvercle ouvert, de l’eau en ébullition
pourrait s’échapper.
oUtilisez l’appareil sur une surface stable et ne le
plongez jamais dans l’eau.
oL’appareil est équipé d’un dispositif de sécurité de
limite de température, ayant pour effet de
l’arrêter lorsqu’il est enclenché sans avoir été
rempli d’eau au préalable. Si cela venait à arriver,
retirer la fiche du réseau et laissez l’appareil se
refroidir avant de le remplir à nouveau avec de
l’eau.
oIl est recommandé, avant de consommer l’eau
pour la première fois, de porter cette dernière à
ébullition et de la jeter.
oAvant d’extraire le pot de son socle, assurez-vous
de ce que l’appareil s’est déclenché

automatiquement. Si cela n’était pas le cas,
déclenchez-le manuellement.
oNe pas utiliser l’appareil lorsque le câble,
l’interrupteur, ou d’autres pièces constitutives
sont endommagées. Ne laisser effectuer des
réparations que par une personne formée et
autorisée en conséquence.
oPour des dégâts provoqués par une utilisation non
prévue dans ces instructions de service, nous ne
porterons aucune responsabilité.
oCet appareil peut être utilisé pour des besoins

MISE EN SERVICE
oNe pas oublier de refermer le couvercle après avoir rempli le pot d’eau, sans quoi
l’appareil ne peut pas se déclencher automatiquement. Le niveau d’eau dans le pot
doit être compris entre les indications „min.“ et „max.“.
oPosez le pot sur son socle et enclenchez l’appareil.
oDès que l’eau a été portée à ébullition, l’appareil est automatiquement déclenché. Il
est bien entendu possible de déclencher l’appareil à volonté manuellement.
oATTENTION: Le boîtier de la bouilloire devenant très chaud, ne touchez l’appareil
qu’à la poignée.
Lorsque l’appareil a porté l’eau à ébullition, celle-ci doit être vidée et un laps de
temps d’environ 15 à 20 secondes devra s’écouler avant qu’il ne soit possible
de démarrer un nouvelle cuisson. Durant ce temps, il n’est pas possible
d’enclencher l’appareil.
DÉTARTRAGE
oL’appareil devrait subir un détartrage régulier, en fonction de la dureté de l’eau. A
cet effet, faire usage d’agents de détartrage conventionnels, respectueux de
l’environnement. Introduire en premier lieu de l’eau et ensuite l’agent, en doses pas
trop concentrées. Ne pas faire cuire la solution de détartrage, sans quoi celle-ci
débordera. Après avoir effectué le nettoyage, rincer le pot à grande eau avant de le
réutiliser.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
oAvant de nettoyer l’appareil, retirer la fiche du réseau. Ne pas plonger le pot ou le
socle dans de l’eau. Le pot peut être rincé de temps à autre. L’extérieur de l’appareil
peut être nettoyé à l’aide d’un chiffon humide. Ne pas utiliser de produits agressifs
ou de pattes rugueuses.
ELIMINATION
oA la fin de la phase d’utilisation, la machine doit être remise au détaillant ou à un
point de service après-ventre, ou renvoyées directement à Rotel AG, qui se chargera
de l’éliminination ou du recyclage.

oPrima dell'uso leggere tutte le istruzioni.
oQuesto apparecchio può essere usato da bambini
di età superiore a otto (8) anni e da persone con
ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, o con
insufficiente esperienza e conoscenza, a
condizione che siano sotto sorveglianza o che
abbiano ricevuto istruzioni sull'uso sicuro
dell'apparecchio e siano consapevoli dei rischi
connessi. I bambini non devono giocare con
l'apparecchio, ne devono svolgere operazioni di
pulizia e manutenzione senza sorveglianza.
oAssicuratevi che la tensione elettrica di rete
corrisponda a quella indicata sulla targhetta
dell’apparecchio.
oSe dovete allontanarvi, togliete la spina
dell’apparecchio dalla presa. Assicuratevi i noltre
che l’apparecchio non sia accessibile ai bambini.
oNon posate il bollitore per acqua su superfici calde
perché potrebbe fondere e danneggiarsi.

oUtilizzate il bollitore per acqua solo con lo zoccolo
riscaldante di appartenenza.
oTogliete la brocca dallo zoccolo e riempitela solo
con acqua pura, senza latte, caffè, o simili
bevande.
oSe la brocca viene riempita eccessivamente,
oppure se non viene usata con il coperchio
bloccato, potranno verificarsi spruzzi d’acqua
bollente.
oAppoggiate sempre il bollitore per acqua su una
superficie stabile e non immergetelo mai
nell’acqua.
oIl bollitore per acqua è dotato di un sistema
protettivo contro il surriscaldamento che
disinserisce automaticamente l’apparecchio
nel caso esso venga messo in funzione senza
acqua.
oSe ciò dovesse succedere, prima di riempire di
nuovo con acqua, staccate la presa di corrente
e lasciate raffreddare l’apparecchio.
oPrima di utilizzare per la prima volta il bollitore,
riempitelo con acqua e lasciatela bollire. Gettate
poi via l’acqua così ottenuta.
oPrima di togliere il bollitore dallo zoccolo,
assicuratevi che esso si sia spento

mano.
oNon mettete in funzione l’apparecchio se il cavo
elettrico, l’interruttore o altre parti risultassero
danneggiate. Lasciate effettuare le riparazioni di
parti elettriche soltanto da spe-cialisti.
oNon siamo responsabili per danni causati
dall’utilizzo dell’apparecchio al di fuori degli usi
che sono oggetto delle presenti istruzioni.
oQuesto apparecchio è previsto per un uso
domestico e può essere usato in applicazioni
come per esempio:

MESSA IN FUNZIONE
oDopo il riempimento non dimenticate di chiudere il coperchio dato che altrimenti,
una volta in funzione, la brocca non si spegnerà automaticamente. Il livello d’acqua
nella brocca deve essere sempre mantenuto tra le due marcature „Max“ e „Min“.
Mettete la brocca sullo zoccolo ed accendete il bollitore. Quando l’acqua bolle,
l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente. È tuttavia anche possibile spegnere in
qualsiasi momento l’apparecchio a mano.
oATTENTIONE: Il riscaldatore d'acqua sarà molto caldo. Prenderlo solo per l'apposita
maniglia.
Quando il bollitore si spegne automaticamente, si deve togliere l’acqua dalla
brocca. Dopo 15-20 sec. di intervallo si può nuovamente scaldare altra acqua.
Nel corso di questo intervallo il bollitore non può essere riacceso.
DECALCIFICARE
oIn funzione della durezza dell’acqua usata, il bollitore deve essere regolarmente
decalcificato. Utilizzate per questa operazione un prodotto decalcificante ecologico,
normalmente in commercio. Riempite prima con acqua e successivamente
aggiungete il decalcificante (dosaggio leggero). Non riscaldate la soluzione così
ottenuta che produrrebbe molta schiuma. Dopo la decalcificazione sciacquate
abbondantemente la brocca con acqua fresca.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
oPrima di pulire staccate la spina dalla presa. Evitate assolutamente di immergere
zoccolo e brocca nell’acqua. La brocca va sciacquata occasionalmente. L’esterno va
pulito solamente usando un panno umido. Non utilizzate detergenti forti o abrasivi.
SMALTIMENTO
oPer lo smaltimento corretto, la macchina deve essere restituita al rivenditore
specializzato, al servizio di assistenza o alla ditta Rotel AG.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
oRead all instructions before using.
oThis appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
oMake sure that the mains voltage is the same as
the voltage specified on the appliance's rating
label.
oIf you need to remove it, unplug the cable from
the socket. Never place the appliance in children's
reach.
oDo not place the kettle on hot surfaces otherwise
it may melt.
oOnly use the kettle with the corresponding base
supplied.

oRemove the kettle from the base to fill it up. Only
fill it with water, not milk, coffee or similar drinks

oIf you overfill or if it you use it when the lid is not
on properly, the boiling water can spray out.
oOnly use the kettle on a stable surface and never
immerse it in water.
oThe kettle has a safety temperature limiter, which
switches the kettle off automatically if it is used
without any water in it. If this should happen,
unplug the kettle from the mains and let the
kettle cool down before filling it with water.
oBefore using the kettle for the first time, fill it with
water and let it boil. You should then pour this
water away.
oBefore removing the kettle from its base make
sure that it has turned itself off automatically. If
this does not happen, turn it off by hand.
oDo not use the appliance if the cable, switch or
other components are damaged. Only qualified
specialists should carry out any repairs on
electrical parts.
oWe cannot assume any liability for damages
caused by any use not provided for in this manual.

BEFORE STARTING THE APPLIANCE
oAfter you have filled the kettle do not forget to close the lid, otherwise the kettle will not
turn off automatically after boiling. The amount of water in the kettle must always be
between the "Min" and "Max" level.
oPlace the kettle on the base and turn it on.
oAs soon as the water has boiled, the kettle will turn off automatically. But you can turn the
appliance off by hand at any time.
oCAUTION: The outside of the kettle gets very hot. Only use the handle to pick up the kettle.
Once the kettle has switched off automatically, the boiled water must be
poured out in order to be able to use the kettle to boil some more water after
around 15 to 20 seconds. The kettle will not switch on during this time.
DESCALING
oThe kettle should be descaled on a regular basis depending on how hard the water supply
is. To do this use standard, environmentally friendly descaling products. First fill it with
water and then a small dose of the descaling product. Never heat up the solution,
otherwise it will foam over. After descaling, rinse the kettle out thoroughly with clean
water.
CLEANING AND CARE
oPull out the plug before cleaning. Never immerse the kettle and its base in water. Rinse the
kettle out from time to time. Only wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not
use any sharp and abrasive cleaning agents.
DISPOSAL
oFor proper disposal, the unit is to return to the dealer, the service agent or the
company Rotel AG.

Wir verpflichten uns, dieses Gerät kostenlos wieder instand zu setzen, falls es bei sachgemässer Behandlung innerhalb der
Garantiezeit versagen sollte. Wir beseitigen alle Mängel, die auf Material- oder Fabrikationsfehlern beruhen. Die
Garantieleistung erfolgt durch Instandsetzung oder Austausch mangelhafter Teile nach unserer Wahl. Eine Garantieleistung
entfällt für Schäden an Verschleissteilen, für Schäden und Mängel, die durch unsachgemässe Behandlung oder Wartung
auftreten (insbesondere Verkalkung und gewerblicher Einsatz). Sie wird nur gewährt, wenn entweder die Garantiekarte mit
Kaufdatum, Händlerstempel und Unterschrift versehen oder die Kaufquittung mit dem Gerät an die zutreffende Servicestation
eingesandt wird (siehe Adresse unten). Rücksendungen sollen in der Originalverpackung erfolgen. Transportkosten gehen zu
Lasten des Käufers. Bitte vergessen Sie nicht, der Sendung Ihre Adresse und, falls der Fehler nicht offensichtlich ist, eine
Erklärung beizufügen.

the period of warranty. We repair all defects caused by material or manufacturing faults. The warranty will be performed by
repair or replacement of defective parts at our discretion. A warranty does not cover damage due to parts worn-off and

use). A warranty will only be granted if the warranty card showing the date of purchase, dealer's stamp and signature or the
