• This unit should NOT be situated in close proximity to water. Avoid placement
near bathtubs, sinks, washing machines, swimming pool, sauna etc.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or to extremes of temperature or humidity,
• Do not place near direct heat sources such as radiators, stoves, gas fires, naked
flames or candles
• Ensure that the unit is placed on a clean, dry and flat surface before operation
• Do not drop unit, apply excessive force to the controls or place heavy objects on
top of the unit
• Do not allow excessive levels of dust to gather on the MC4
• To clean, use a soft dry cloth. If necessary, use a damp cloth without any solvents.
• Ensure that the area in which the unit is situated has adequate ventilation. Do
not place the MC4 in a position where its ventilation may become obstructed.
Avoid placement on beds, sofas, rugs, enclosed bookcases / cabinets and any
other area which may cause interference to the ventilation of the product thus
causing it to overheat
• Ensure that the unit is connected to the correct power supply as indicated on
the unit. Unplug the MC4 when not in use for a long period. Always make sure
power cables are placed safely and are not obstructing a walkway
• This product can get hot. Do not touch the tubes and keep away from babies
and children
• To avoid risk of electric shock, do not attempt to remover the cover or the back
of unit – there are no user serviceable parts
• When this product is moved from a cool to a warm place, condensation may
occur on the surface of the vacuum tube. In this instance, please allow 1 hour
before attempting to operate the unit.This will avoid leakage or blow-out of the
vacuum tube due to sudden heat
• The MC4 should be serviced by an authorised service engineer in the event of
any of the following circumstances
• The power supply or cord sustains damage
• The unit is struck by a falling object
• The unit is exposed to rain or moisture.
• The unit does not seem to operate normally or exhibits a sudden
change in performance
• The unit has been dropped
• Any unauthorised changes or modifications to this equipment would render the
manufacturer’s warranty null and void

1 Audio Sources
Connect one of the audio source as below:
A. iPod : Put your iPod into the dock.
B. CD Player: Connect your CD/DVD player to the CD
input holes with RCA jack wires.
C. MP3 Player: Connect your MP3 player to the MP3
input holes with 3.5mm jack stereo wires.

2 Speakers
Connect the amplifier to the speakers with enclosed audio source wires
and make sure the L and R connection are correct. Select your speakers
with impedance greater than 8 ohm, otherwise you may damage the
amplifier system
3 Power
Insert the power cord into the rear panel of the amplifier. Select the
voltage on the adapter to your local voltage 110V or 230V. Connect the
power cord to the adapter and plug the other end into an AC wall jack
4If your iPod has video out, you can use S-video wire (not included) to
connect the amplifier to your TV or monitor. Then, you can enjoy watching
video files on TV or monitor
5Turn on the switch on the adapter
6Press and hold 3 seconds on the volume switch of the amplifier or on the
power button on the remote control to turn on the power.The red power
protection indicator lights up.Then it will flash about 15 seconds. In the
mean time, the tubes light up gradually. Once the indicator stops flashing,
the green LED will light up both on the volume and source selector.Then,
the tube system is ready to operate

angeschlossen wird. Das MC4 ausstecken, wenn es längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird. Immer sicher-

Eine Audioquelle wie folgt anschließen:
A. iPod: Stellen Sie Ihren iPod in das Dock.
B.CD-Player: Schließen Sie Ihren CD/DVD-Player mit
RCA-Kabeln an den CD-Eingang an
C. MP3-Player: Schließen Sie Ihren MP3-Player mit 3,5
mm Stereokabeln an den MP3-Eingang an.

2 Lautsprecher
Den Verstärker mit den beigefügten Audiokabeln an die Lautsprecher
anschließen und dabei sicherstellen, dass rechter und linker Kanal korrekt besetzt
sind.Lautsprecher mit einer Impedanz über 8 Ohm wählen, da ansonsten das
Verstärkersystem beschädigt werden könnte.
3 Strom
Stromkabel auf der Rückseite des Verstärkers einstecken. Die Spannung auf dem
Adapter an Ihre Netzspannung (110 oder 230 V) anpassen. Stromkabel am
Adapter anschließen und das andere Ende in eine Wechselstrom-Wandbuchse
einstecken.
4Wenn Ihr iPod über einen Videoausgang verfügt, können Sie den Verstärker mit
einem S-Video-Kabel (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) an Ihren Fernseher oder
Computerbildschirm anschließen und sich Videodateien ansehen.
5Adapter einschalten.
6Den Lautstärkeregler am Verstärker oder den Einschaltknopf auf der
Fernbedienung drücken und 3 Sek. gedrückt halten,um das Gerät einzuschalten.
Die rote Stromanzeigeleuchte brennt und blinkt dann ca. 15 Sek. In dieser Zeit
erwärmen sich die Röhren langsam.Wenn die Anzeige aufhört zu blinken,
leuchtet die grüne LED am Lautstärke- und am Inputquellenregler auf. Das
Röhrensystem ist nun betriebsbereit.
