lo indossa una protezione assolu-
ta contro qualsivoglia tipo di urto.

te contro tutti gli incidenti possibili o
prevedibili, anche a bassa velocità.

Il casco ben calzato e con il sistema
di ritenzione regolato correttamente
non si dovrà rimuovere con facilità.
Questo casco è costruito in modo
che l’energia di un impatto venga as-
sorbita anche tramite una sua parzia-
le distruzione, eventualmente senza
che questo sia visibile. Questo casco
può essere danneggiato da sostanze
quali benzina, vernici, adesivi o ma-
teriali di pulizia senza che il danno

competitions.
Do not use the helmet for any other
purposes. If you use the helmet for
any other purpose, it may not provi-
de sufficient protection in case of an
accident.
No helmet can protect the wearer
against all foreseeable impacts.
No product can protect the user
against all possible or foreseeable
accidents, even ones at low speed.
No warranty is expressed or implied
regarding the products ability to pre-
vent users from injury or death. The
user assumes all risks. Take the time
to learn what kind of protection you
can reasonably expect from your hel-
met and how to use it properly. For
the best possible protection, a helmet
must fit properly, be worn properly
positioned, and be properly fastened.
The helmet, when tted and fastened
correctly, shall not be removed ea-
sily. This helmet is constructed that
the energy of an impact may be ab-
sorbed through its partial destruction,
though damage may not be visible.
This helmet can be seriously dama-
ged by substances such as petrol,
paint, adhesive or cleaning agents
without damage being visible to the
user. When cleaning the helmet,
wash with warm water and mild hand
soap only. Make no modications. If
helmet experiences a severe blow,
destroy and replace it.

Il sistema di raffreddamento “Co-
olX”, che sfrutta il sistema CoolShirt
già proposto da Roux Helmets, e
che permette di mantenere bassa e
costante la temperatura intorno alla
testa (11C / 52F).
Oltre al sistema di raffreddamento
“CoolX”, questi modelli dispongono
di un tubo per bere acqua incorpora-
to, un microfono integrato, un siste-
ma di altoparlanti a cancellazione del

•Il casco è progettato in modo speci-
co per l’uso in competizioni automo-
bilistiche; non deve pertanto essere
utilizzato per altri usi (o impieghi o
nalità) perché in tal caso non garan-
tisce la medesima protezione.
•In caso d’incidente, il casco è un
elemento di protezione che permette
di limitare lesioni e danni alla testa.
Nonostante ciò,non è in grado da
solo di eliminare i rischi di ferite gravi
e/o mortali, le quali dipendono dalle
diverse dinamiche speciche dell’im-
patto; quindi guida con prudenza.
•Indossa sempre il tuo casco ben al-
lacciato in modo da sfruttarne tutta la
protezione disponibile.
•Il casco protegge solo le aree del-
la testa coperte. Nessun casco può
proteggere il collo, il corpo o le zone
della testa non coperte dallo stesso.
•I caschi ROUX sono progettati se-
condo speciche rispondenti alle più
severe Norme di sicurezza.
•Non modicare e/o manomettere il
casco (anche solo in parte) per nes-
sun motivo. Monta solo accessori
e/o ricambi originali Roux adatti al
tuo specico modello di casco.
•Danni al casco, che possono esse-
re causati da cadute accidentali, non
sempre sono ben visibili; ogni casco
che abbia subito un urto violento
deve essere sostituito.
•In caso di dubbi sull’integrità e si-
curezza del casco, astieniti dell’u-
tilizzarlo e rivolgiti ad un rivenditore
autorizzato, per un attento controllo.
•The helmet has been specifically
designed for car competitions; it must
not be used for other purposes (or
uses or scopes). Equal protection is
not guaranteed for any use different
from the intended one.
• In case of accident, the helmet re-
presents a protective element, which
reduces injuries and head damage.
This notwithstanding, it cannot alone
prevent serious and/or fatal injuries
due to the specific accident
dynamics, therefore drive carefully.
• Always wear the helmet properly
fastened in order to fully exploit its
protection.
• The helmet only protects areas of
the head which are covered. No hel-
met can protect the neck, body, or
areas of the head not covered by
the helmet.
•ROUX helmets are designed to
meet the strictest safety standards.
• Do not modify nor damage the hel-
met or part of it for whatsoever rea-
son. Use only Roux original acces-
sories and/or spare parts suitable
for your helmet model.
• Damage resulting from accidental
fall may not be visible; helmets,
which received violent impacts, are to
be replaced.
• In case of doubt about the helmet
integrity and safety, avoid using it
and contact an authorized dealer for
a careful check.

Tutti i caschi certicati per uso auto-
mobilistico presentano un’etichetta di
omologazione FIA e/o SNELL che
è normalmente posizionata dentro
la fodera interna del casco. Questo
adesivo è a prova di manomissione
ed è di vitale importanza che non
venga danneggiato o rimosso, in
questo caso infatti il casco non sarà
più utilizzabile.
All certied helmets for automotive
and karting use have an FIA and/or
SNELL approval label that is normal-
ly placed inside the inner lining of the
helmet. This sticker is tamper-proof
and it is vital that it is not
damaged or removed, in this case
in fact,the helmet will no longer be
usable.

per il tuo casco auto.
Vericare con gli organizzatori del
campionato o delle gare in cui par-
teciperai, quale standard omologati-
vo è richiesto per i caschi. In fase di
acquisto è consigliato tener presen-
te la possibilità, in futuro,di andare
avanti e competere in un’altra serie
di gare dal prolo più professionale
che potrebbe richiede uno standard
più elevato. In tal caso, sarebbe op-
portuno optare, già da subito, per
un’omologazione superiore, anziché
dover acquistare due volte un casco.
Va inoltre tenuto presente che uno
standard più elevato, corrisponderà
ad uno standard di sicurezza più ele-
vato,dunque ti proteggerà molto me-
glio in caso di incidente.
Tipologie di omologazioni auto
• FIA-8859: è normalmente lo stan-
dard base per tutti gli sport motoristi-
ci. Viene solitamente utilizzato dalla
maggioranza dei piloti. Nonostante
sia l’omologazione più bassa, è im-
portante ricordare che 8859 è uno
standard rigoroso ed elevato, quindi
questi caschi sono perfettamente
adeguati per l’uso in gara.
• FIA-8860: è lo standard omolo-
gativo di livello internazionale. E’
richiesto in competizioni di livello
professionale come WRC, Formula
1, F2, F3, Blancpain GT o Le Mans.

Choosing the type homologation
for your car helmet.
Check with the organizers of the
championship or races in which you
will participate, which homologation
standard is required for helmets.
When buying it is recommended to
keep in mind the possibility, in the
future, to go ahead and compete in
another series of races with a more
professional prole that may requi-
re a higher standard. In this case, it
would be advisable to opt for a hi-
gher type approval right away, rather
than having to buy a helmet twice. It
should also be borne in mind that a
higher standard will correspond to a
higher safety standard, so it will pro-
tect you much better in the event of
an accident.
Types of car homologations
• FIA-8859: is normally the basic
standard for all motorsport. It is
usually used by most drivers. Despi-
te being the lowest homologation, it
is important to remember that 8859
is a strict and high standard, so these
helmets are perfectly suitable for use
in the race.
• FIA-8860: is the international ho-
mologation standard. It’s in demand
in professional competitions like
WRC, Formula 1, F2, F3, Blancpain
GT or Le Mans.

As this is a higher approval, however,
you can use an 8860 helmet even at
a national event where as a minimum
standard 8859 approval is required.
We recommend that you choose a
helmet with higher approval stan-
dards as your safety must be the pri-
ority of every driver.

Car helmets do not have specic
expiration dates by virtue of the
year of purchase. Approval stan-
dards will expire instead.Normally
an approval standard lasts about
10-15 years before it expires.
