IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using your appliance, basic safety precautions should always be fol-
lowed, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING
1. Use appliance only for its inten-
ded use.
2. To protect against a risk of electric
shock, do not immerse the ap-
pliance in water or other liquids.
3. The appliance should always be
turned off before plugging or un-
plugging from electrical outlet.
Never pull the cord to disconnect
from outlet, instead grasp plug
and pull to disconnect.
4. Do not let the power cord touch
hot surfaces. Let the steam station
cool completely before putting it
away. Wind up the power cord
and attach it with the Velcro.
5. Always disconnect appliance from
electrical outlet when filling or
emptying water and when not in
use.
6. Do not operate appliance with a
damaged cord or if appliance has
been dropped or damaged.
To avoid the risk of electric shock,
do not disassemble the appliance.
Contact Rowenta Consumer Ser-
vices or take it to a qualified ser-
vice person for examination and
repair. Incorrect reassembly can
cause a risk of electric shock when
the appliance is used after reas-
sembly.
7. Close supervision is required for
any appliance used by or near
children. Do not leave the iron
unattended while the appliance is
connected or on an ironing board.
8. Burns can occur from touching
hot metal parts, hot water or
steam. Use caution when you turn
a Pro Precision steam station up-
side down. There may be hot
water in the reservoir.
9. This is a 1800 watts appliance. To
avoid a circuit overload, do not
operate a Pro Precision steam sta-
tion on the same circuit with ano-
ther high wattage appliance.
10. If an extension cord is absolutely
necessary, a cord with 15A or
greater shall be used. A cord
rated for less amperage can re-
sult in a risk of fire or electric
shock due to overheating. Care
shall be taken to arrange the cord
so that it cannot be pulled or be
tripped over.

For your safety, this appliance
conforms to the applicable stan-
dards and regulations (Low Voltage,
Electomagnetic Compatibility, Envi-
ronmental Directives, as applica-
ble…).
Your Pro Precision steam station is
an electrical appliance: it must be
used in normal conditions of use.
It is fitted with 2 safety systems:
- A pressure release valve which, in
the event of a malfunction,
releases any excess steam.
- A thermal fuse to prevent the
appliance from overheating.
Always plug your Pro Precision
steam station into:
- An electrical installation with
voltage 120V.
Connecting to the wrong voltage
may cause irreparable damage to
the appliance and will invalidate
your guarantee.
- The appliance must not be left
unattended while it is connected to
the outlet.
- The plug must be removed from
the outlet before the water
reservoir is filled with water.
- The appliance must be used and
rested on a stable surface.
- When placing the appliance on its
stand, ensure that the surface on
which the stand is placed is stable.
- The appliance is not to be used if
it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it is
leaking.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is not intended for
use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
- Do not direct steam at people,
animals or iron clothes while they
are being worn.
- “Calc Away-System”: Always
wait before rinsing the collector
until the steam station has cooled
down and has been unplugged for
at least 2 hours before unscrewing
the collector.
If you lose or damage the scale
collector, have it replaced by
calling Rowenta Consumer
Services.
- Never attempt to unscrew the
scale collector while the appliance
is in use. The strong steam
pressure could results in burns.
Only unscrew the collector when
the appliance is cold (2 hours) or
there is no more pressure in the
boiler.

1 • Safety lock (according to model)
• Your steam station is equipped with a
safety lock that holds the iron on to the
base unit in order to facilitate transport
and storage:
• Pull up – fig. 1.
• Push down – fig. 2.
The safety lock allows you to carry your
steam station by the iron handle:
- place the iron on the iron rest of the steam
station and lock it into place (you will hear
an audible “click” sound) – fig. 1.
- Hold the iron by its handle in order to
transport your steam station - fig. 3.
2 • Water recommendations
Tap water
• Rowenta steam stations are designed to
be used with UNTREATED TAP WATER. If
your water is very hard, Rowenta
recommends mixing half untreated tap
water with half distilled water which
reduces the hardness.
Softened water :
• There are many types of household water
softeners and the water from many of
them is perfectly acceptable for use in the
steam station. However, some types of
softeners, particularly those that use
chemicals such as salt, can cause the
appliance to leak or spit during use, this is
notably the case with filtering jugs.
Therefore we would not recommend
using this type of water.
• If you experience this type of problem, we
recommend that you try using untreated
tap water or store-bought distilled water
which can be mixed 50% distilled with
50% untreated tap water. Once you have
changed water it will take several uses to
correct the problem. Rowenta
recommends trying the steam function
for the first time on an old towel or cloth
that can be discarded to avoid potentially
damaging your clothes.
Always remember :
• Heat concentrates the elements in water
during evaporation. The types of water
listed below may contain organic waste,
mineral or chemical elements that can
cause spitting, brown staining or
premature wear of the appliance: water
from clothes dryers, scented or softened
water, water from refrigerators, batteries,
air conditioners, rain water, boiled, filtered
or bottled water. These types of water
should not be used in your ROWENTA
steam station.
3 • Preparing your steam
station
• Place the steam station on a flat, stable,
horizontal and heat-resistant surface.

• Lift the removable water tank (located at
the front of the steam station) pressing on
the lock screw located on the tank handle
– fig. 4.
• Fill the tank with untreated tap water,
taking care not to exceed the maximum
level - fig. 5.
• Slide the tank back into its housing until it
“clicks” into place.
• Unwind the electrical power cord it
completely and remove the steam cord
from its housing- fig.6.
• Plug your steam station into a 120 volt
electric outlet - fig.7.
USE
4 • Switching on your steam
station
• Press on the on / off switch - fig. 8, it
begins flashing. The green light located
on the control panel flashes
• When starting, and regularly while it is
being used, your steam station's electric
pump injects water into the boiler. It makes
a noise but this is quite normal.
• The steam station and the iron are ready for
use when the steam indicator light is on and
the iron light goes out.
5 • Operating the control
panel
• Flashing green light - fig. 8 : the water is
heating up in the boiler.
• Continuous green light - fig. 10 : steam is
ready for use.
• Flashing red light - fig. 13 : the tank is
empty.
• The “Calc Away System” or the “boiler
rinse" orange indicator flashes -
fig. 15 or
fig. 21
(according to model) : the collector /
boiler needs to be rinsed.
6 • Using your steam station
• Place the iron’s temperature control - fig.
9to the type of fabric to be ironed (see
table below).
• The iron temperature control light turns
on. Important: whenever you start using
your iron and whenever you reduce the
temperature during use, the iron is ready
for use when its indicator light goes out
and when the green light located on the
control panel comes on and remains on.
• During use, when you increase the
temperature of the iron, you can start
ironing immediately.
• ECO Mode: Your steam
station has an ECO mode function which
uses less power whilst still guaranteeing a
sufficient steam output for you to iron your
garments properly.
In order to use this function, once the
thermostat of your iron has been correctly
set (see table above), press on the ECO
button located on the control panel.
The ECO mode can be used on all types of
fabrics, nevertheless for very thick or very
creased fabrics we recommend that you
deactivate ECO mode (by pressing the
ECO button again) to guarantee the best
results.
• During ironing the iron indicator light
switches on and off according to heating
requirements but this has no effect on
use.
• To obtain steam, press on the steam
control button beneath the iron handle
and keep it pressed - fig. 11. The steam
will stop when you release the button.
• Always spray starch on the reverse side of
the fabric to be ironed.
The first time the appliance is used,
there may be some fumes and a slight
smell this is not harmful and will quickly
disappear.

7 • Vertical steam ironing
• Set the temperature of the iron to the max
position.
• Hang the garment on a coat hanger and
hold the fabric slightly taut with one hand.
• Press repeatedly on the steam - fig.11
control button (beneath the iron handle)
moving the iron from top to bottom - fig. 12.
Examples of how to use the vertical
steaming function:
• Removing creases directly on hangers
from delicate fabrics that you do not want
to bring into contact with the hot iron.
• Refreshing a shirt or a suit just before
putting it on.
8 • Dry ironing
• Do not press the steam control button.
9 • Fill the water tank again
• When there is no more steam and the
“Water tank empty” light flashes - fig. 13:
the water tank is empty.
• Remove the water tank using the handle
(on the front of the steam station) - fig. 14
and fill it - fig. 5 do not fill above the Max.
level.
• Push the water tank into position until it
“clicks” into place. Press the Restart
button located on the control panel. The
red light turns off.
• The steam station and the iron are ready
for use when the steam indicator light is
on and the iron temperature control light
goes out.
10 • Storing the steam station
• Turn off the appliance and unplug it.
Place the iron on the iron rest on the
steam station. Lock the iron onto the base
unit by pressing it until you hear an
audible “click”, so your iron is secure
(according to model) – fig 1. Fold the
steam cord in two and place it in its
housing. Wind up the power cord and
attach it with the velcro.
• Leave the steam station to cool for at least
one hour before putting it away if it is to
be stored in a cupboard or confined
space. You can then store your steam
station safely.
Iron temperature control setting: Your
iron is quick to heat up so start with
fabrics to be ironed at a low
temperature and finish with those
which need higher temperatures.
Mixed fibre fabrics: set the ironing
temperature to the setting for the
most delicate fabric. For delicate
fabrics (•), press the steam control
button (under the handle of the iron)
intermittently to avoid any water
droplets appearing with the steam.
If you set your thermostat to “min”,
the iron will not become hot.
When taking a break from ironing,
never place the iron on a metal rest
plate, which could damage the iron
rest plate of the unit. It is equipped
with non-slip pads and has been
designed to withstand high
temperatures.
Recommendations: To prime the steam
circuit, either before using the iron for
the first time, or if you have not used the
steam function for a few minutes, press
the steam control button several times
in a row – fig.11, holding the iron away
from your clothes. This will enable any
cold water to be removed from the
steam circuit.
As steam is very hot: never attempt
to remove creases from a garment
while it is being worn, always hang
garments on a coat hanger. For
fabrics other than linen or cotton,
hold the iron a few centimetres from
the garment to avoid burning the
fabric.
If this occurs, remove the excess
water.

CLEANING
11 • Cleaning the station
• The iron soleplate: Clean the soleplate of
your iron when it is cool with a damp
cloth or a non-abrasive sponge.
• The base unit: Clean the plastic parts of
the appliance occasionally with a soft
cloth.
12 • Easy descaling of your
steam station
For models with scale collector.
• To extend the life of your steam station
and avoid scale on your ironing, your
steam station is equipped with a built-in
scale collector. This collector, located in
the boiler, automatically removes the
scale that forms inside.
Operation:
• An orange “Calc-Away System” light
located - fig. 15 on the control panel starts
flashing to tell you that the scale collector
needs rinsing.
• Once the steam station has cooled
completely, remove the scale collector
cover - fig. 16.
• Unscrew the scale collector and remove it
from the housing; it contains the scale
that has built up in the tank - fig. 17.
• To clean the collector properly, just rinse it
under running water to remove the scale
it contains - fig. 18.
• Put the collector back into its housing and
screw it in completely to keep it watertight
- fig. 19.
• Put the scale collector cover back on - fig.
20.
In addition to this regular maintenance
procedure, we recommend that you rinse
the boiler completely once every 6 months,
or once every 25 times you use your steam
station.
• Make sure that the steam station has
been unplugged and allowed to cool for
at least 2 hours.
• Place the steam station on the edge of
your sink and the iron to one side, on its
heel.
• Remove the collector cover and unscrew
the scale collector - fig. 16-17.
• Hold your steam station at an angle and
use a jug to fill the boiler with 1/4 litre of
tap water.- fig. 24.
• Shake the base unit for a few seconds
then empty it completely into the sink.-
fig. 25-26.
• Fit the collector back in its housing and
screw it on tightly to ensure it is
watertight but do not overtighten it - fig.
19.
• Put the scale collector cover back in
place.- fig. 20.
Models without scale collector
• To prolong the life of your steam station
and prevent the release of scale on to
your ironing, your steam station is fitted
with an orange "Boiler rinse” light that
flashes on the control panel when you
need to drain the appliance - fig. 21.
• If the orange “boiler rinse” warning light
flashes, you can continue ironing
Do not use any descaling substances
(vinegar, industrial descaling
products, etc.) when rinsing the scale
collector: they could damage it.
Before emptying your steam station,
it must always be left to cool for 2
hours to avoid any risks of scalding.
Do not use any cleaning or descaling
products for cleaning the soleplate
or the base-unit. Never hold the iron
or the base unit under the tap.
IMPORTANT! This operation must not
be carried out unless the steam station
has been unplugged for at least two
hours and has cooled down comple-
tely. To carry out this operation, the
steam station must be close to a sink
as water may come out of the tank
when it is opened.
The next time you use your iron,
press the “Restart” button on the
control panel to turn off the orange
“Calc-Away System” light.

IS THERE A PROBLEM?
Problems Possible Causes Solutions
The steam station does
not switch on or the iron
indicator and ON/OFF
indicator do not switch on.
The appliance is not
switched on. Check that your appliance is correctly plugged in and press the illuminated on/off
switch.
Water runs through the
holes in the soleplate. You use steam too frequently when your iron
is not hot enough.
Wait for the thermostat light to go out before
activating the steam button.
Adjust the frequency of use of the steam
trigger to match the position of the
thermostat (see § 6).
Water has condensed in the
pipes because you are using
steam for the first time or
you have not used it for
some time.
Press on the steam control button away from
your ironing board until the iron produces
steam.
normally but remember to rinse the boiler
before you use it again.
• Place the steam station on the edge of
your sink, with the iron placed to one side,
standing on its heel.
• Unscrew the boiler rinse cap cover anti
clockwise for a quarter of a turn - fig. 22.
• Using a coin, gently unscrew the boiler
rinse cap - fig. 23.
• Holding the steam station in a tilted
position, and using a jug, fill the boiler
with ¼ litre of untreated tap water - fig. 24.
• Shake the base unit for a few moments -
fig. 25 and then empty it completely into
your sink - fig. 26.
• To obtain the best results, we recommend
that this operation is done twice.
• Screw back and tighten up the boiler rinse
cap with a coin - fig. 27.
• Put the boiler rinse cap cover back in place
- fig. 28.
The next time you use the station
press the “restart” button to turn off
the orange light.
The steam station does not work
without the scale collector / boiler
rinse cap (according to model).
Regular descaling of your steam
station helps to maintain its steam
performance over time

not be carried out unless the steam
station has been unplugged for at
least two hours and has cooled down
completely.

Water streaks appear on
the linen. When taking a break from ironing, if your ironing
board cover is soaked with
water it is not suited to the
power of a steam station.
Check that your ironing board is suitable. A
mesh type ironing board must be used
avoid condensation.
White streaks come
through the holes in the
soleplate.
Your boiler has a build-up
of scale because it has not
been rinsed out regularly.
Depending on model:
- Rinse the collector when the “Calc-Away
System” indicator flashes.
- Rinse the boiler when the ""Boiler rinse"
light flashes.
If your water is very hard, rinse it more
often.
Brown streaks come
through the holes in the
soleplate and stain the
linen.
You are using chemical
descaling agents or
additives in the water for
ironing.
Never add this type of product to the water
tank (see § 2).
Contact an Approved Service Centre.
The soleplate is dirty or
brown and may stain the
linen.
You are ironing at too high
a temperature. See our recommendations regarding temperature control setting.
Your linen is not rinsed
sufficiently or you have
ironed a new garment
before washing it.
Ensure linen is rinsed thoroughly to remove
any soap deposits or chemicals on new
garments which may be sucked up by the
iron.
You are using starch. Aways spray starch on the reverse side of
the fabric to be ironed.
There is no steam or there
is little steam. The water tank is empty (red light flashing). Fill the water tank and press the “Restart” button on the control panel.
The soleplate temperature
is set to the maximum. The station is working but steam is very hot and dry. As a result, it is less visible.
The water tank is not
correctly fitted into its
housing.
Push it into position until it "clicks" into

Steam comes out from

The international manufacturer’s guarantee covers all costs related to restoring the proven defective
product so that it conforms to its original specifications, through the repair or replacement of any de-
fective part and the necessary labor. At ROWENTA’s choice, a replacement product may be provided
instead of repairing a defective product. ROWENTA’s sole obligation and your exclusive resolution
under this guarantee are limited to such repair or replacement.
Conditions & Exclusions
ROWENTA shall not be obliged to repair or replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid
proof of purchase. The product can be taken directly in person or must be adequately packaged and
returned, by recorded delivery (or equivalent method of postage), to a ROWENTA authorized service
centre. Full address details for each country’s authorized service centers are listed on ROWENTA
website (www.rowenta.com) or by calling the appropriate consumer Service centre set out in the
attached Country List.
This guarantee applies only for products purchased and used for domestic purposes and will not
cover any damage which could occur as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow ROWENTA
instructions, or a modification or unauthorized repair of the product, faulty packaging by the owner or
mishandling by any carrier. It also does not cover normal wear and tear, maintenance or replacement
of consumable parts, or the following:
- using the wrong type of water or consumable
- damages or bad results specifically due to wrong voltage or frequency as stamped on the
product ID or specification
- scaling (any de-scaling must be carried out according to the instructions for use)
- accidents including fire, flood, thunderbolt etc
- mechanical damages, overloading
- ingress of water, dust or insects into the product
- damage to any glass or porcelain ware in the product
- professional or commercial use
Consumer Statutory Rights
This international ROWENTA guarantee does not affect the Statutory Rights a consumer may have or
those rights that cannot be excluded or limited, nor rights against the retailer from which the consu-
mer purchased the product. This guarantee gives a consumer specific legal rights, and the consumer
may also have other legal rights which vary from State to State or Country to Country. The consumer
may assert any such rights at his sole discretion.

POUR VOTRE SÉCURITÉ
Lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi avant
la première utilisation de votre appareil : une
utilisation non conforme au mode d’emploi
dégagerait la marque de toute
responsabilité.
Pour votre sécurité, cet appareil est
conforme aux normes et réglementations
applicables (Directives Basse Tension,
Compatibilité Electromagnétique,
Environnement …).
Votre centrale vapeur est un appareil
électrique : elle doit être utilisée dans des
conditions normales d’utilisation. Elle est
prévue pour un usage domestique
uniquement.
Elle est équipée de 2 systèmes de sécurité :
- une soupape évitant toute surpression, qui
en cas de dysfonctionnement, laisse
échapper le surplus de vapeur ;
- un fusible thermique pour éviter toute
surchauffe.
Branchez toujours votre centrale vapeur :
- sur une installation électrique dont la
tension est de 120 V ;
Si vous utilisez une rallonge, vérifiez que la
prise est bien de type 15 A.
Toute erreur de branchement peut causer un
dommage irréversible et annule la garantie.
Déroulez complètement le cordon électrique
avant de le brancher sur une prise électrique.
Si le cordon d’alimentation électrique ou le
cordon vapeur est endommagé, il doit être
impérativement remplacé par un Centre
Service Agréé afin d’éviter un danger.
Ne débranchez pas l’appareil en tirant sur le
cordon. Débranchez toujours votre appareil :
- avant de remplir le réservoir ou de rincer la
chaudière ;
- avant de le nettoyer ;
- après chaque utilisation.
L’appareil doit être utilisé et posé sur une
surface stable. Lorsque vous posez le fer sur
le repose-fer, assurez-vous que la surface sur
laquelle vous le reposez est stable.
Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé
par des personnes (y compris les enfants)
dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou
mentales sont réduites, ou des personnes
dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance,
sauf si elles ont pu bénéficier, par
l’intermédiaire d’une personne responsable
de leur sécurité, d’une surveillance ou
d’instructions préalables concernant
l’utilisation de l’appareil.
Il convient de surveiller les enfants pour
s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
Avant le remplissage, vérifiez que votre
appareil est débranché et froid.
Ne laissez jamais l’appareil sans
surveillance :
- lorsqu’il est raccordé à l’alimentation
électrique ;
- tant qu’il n’a pas refroidi environ 1 heure.
La semelle de votre fer et la plaque repose-
fer du boîtier peuvent atteindre des
températures très élevées, et peuvent
occasionner des brûlures : ne les touchez
pas. Ne touchez jamais les cordons
électriques avec la semelle du fer à repasser.
Votre appareil émet de la vapeur qui peut
occasionner des brûlures. Manipulez le fer
avec précaution, surtout en repassage
vertical. Ne dirigez jamais la vapeur sur des
personnes ou des animaux.
Avant de détartrer la cuve, attendez toujours
que la centrale vapeur soit froide et
débranchée depuis plus de 2 heures pour
dévisser le collecteur.
Lors du rinçage de la chaudière, ne la
remplissez jamais directement sous le
robinet.
Si vous perdez ou abîmez le collecteur,
faites-le remplacer dans un Centre Service
Agréé.
Ne plongez jamais votre centrale vapeur
dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide. Ne la passez
jamais sous l’eau du robinet.
L’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé s’il a chuté,
s’il présente des dommages apparents, s’il
fuit ou présente des anomalies de
fonctionnement. Ne démontez jamais votre
appareil : faites-le examiner dans un Centre
Service Agréé, afin d’éviter un danger.

1 • Safety lock (selon modèle)
• Votre centrale vapeur est équipée d'un
arceau de maintien du fer sur le boitier
avec verrouillage pour faciliter le
transport et le rangement :
• Verrouillage - fig.1.
• Déverrouillage - fig.2.
Pour transporter votre centrale vapeur par
la poignée du fer :
- posez le fer sur la plaque repose-fer de la
centrale vapeur et rabattez l’arceau de
maintien sur le fer jusqu’à
l’enclenchement du verrouillage
(identifié par un “clic” sonore) - fig.1.
- Saisissez le fer par la poignée pour
transporter votre centrale vapeur - fig.3.
2• Quelle eau utiliser ?
L’eau du robinet
• Votre appareil a été conçu pour
fonctionner avec l’eau du robinet. Si
votre eau est très calcaire, mélangez
50% d’eau du robinet et 50% d’eau
déminéralisée du commerce.
• Dans certaines régions de bord de mer,
la teneur en sel de votre eau peut être
élevée. Dans ce cas, utilisez
exclusivement de l’eau déminéralisée.
Adoucisseur
• Il y a plusieurs types d’adoucisseurs et
l’eau de la plupart d’entre eux peut être
utilisée dans la centrale vapeur.
Cependant, certains adoucisseurs et
particulièrement ceux qui utilisent des
produits chimiques comme le sel,
peuvent provoquer des coulures
blanches ou brunes, c’est notamment le
cas des carafes filtrantes.
• Si vous rencontrez ce type de problème,
nous vous recommandons d’essayer
d’utiliser de l’eau du robinet non traitée
ou de l’eau en bouteille.
• Une fois l’eau changée, plusieurs
utilisations seront nécessaires pour
résoudre le problème. Rowenta
recommande d’essayer la fonction
vapeur pour la première fois sur une
vieille serviette ou un vieux vêtement
qui peuvent être jetés afin d’éviter
d’endommager vos vêtements.
Souvenez-vous :
• Les eaux de pluie ou contenant des
additifs (comme l’amidon, le parfum ou
l’eau des appareils ménagers) ne peuvent
pas être utilisées. De tels additifs peuvent
affecter les propriétés de la vapeur et à
haute température peuvent former des
dépôts dans la chambre à vapeur ce qui
pourra tâcher votre linge.
3 • Préparez votre centrale
vapeur
• Placez la centrale vapeur sur un
emplacement stable et horizontal ne
craignant pas la chaleur.
• Retirez le réservoir d’eau amovible (situé
à l’avant de la centrale vapeur) à l’aide
de la poignée - fig.4.

• Remplissez le réservoir d’eau sans
dépasser le niveau Max. - fig.5.
• Remettez-le bien à fond dans son
logement jusqu’au “clic”.
• Déroulez complètement le cordon
électrique et sortez le cordon vapeur de
son rangement - fig.6.
• Branchez votre centrale vapeur sur une
prise électrique de type «terre» - fig.7.
UTILISATION
4 • Mettez votre centrale
vapeur en marche
• Appuyez sur l’interrupteur lumineux
marche/arrêt - fig.8, il s’allume. Le voyant
vert situé sur le tableau de bord clignote.
• Après une minute environ, et régulièrement
à l’usage, la pompe électrique équipant
votre appareil injecte de l’eau dans la
chaudière. Cela génère un bruit qui est
normal.
• La centrale vapeur et le fer sont prêts à
repasser quand le voyant vapeur est
allumé et le voyant du fer éteint.
5 • Fonctionnement
du tableau de bord
• Voyant vert clignote - fig.8 : la chaudière
chauffe.
• Voyant vert allumé - fig.10 : la vapeur est
prête.
• Voyant rouge clignote - fig.13 :le
réservoir est vide.
• Voyant orange “Calc-Away System” -ou
“Vidange de la chaudière” - fig.15 ou fig.
21 (selon modèle) clignote : vous devez
rincer votre collecteur/chaudière.
6 • Repassez à la vapeur
• Placez le bouton de réglage du
thermostat sur le type de tissu à
repasser - fig.9.Voir le tableau
ci-dessous.
• Le voyant du fer s’allume. Attention : au
démarrage de la séance et lorsque vous
réduisez la température en cours de
séance, l’appareil est prêt lorsque le
voyant du fer s’éteint et que le voyant
vert situé sur le tableau de bord se fixe.
• En cours de séance, lorsque vous
augmentez la température du fer, vous
pouvez repasser immédiatement.
• Fonction ECO : Votre
centrale vapeur est équipée
d’une fonction ECO qui
consomme moins d’énergie tout en
garantissant un débit vapeur suffisant
pour un repassage efficace.
Pour cela, une fois le thermostat de votre
fer correctement réglé (cf tableau ci-
dessus), appuyez sur la touche Eco située
sur le tableau de bord.
La fonction ECO peut être utilisée sur tous
les types de tissus, toutefois pour les
tissus très épais ou très froissés, nous
vous recommandons de désactiver la
fonction ECO (en appuyant à nouveau sur
la touche ECO) pour garantir un résultat
optimal.
• Pendant le repassage, le voyant situé sur
le fer s’allume et s’éteint selon les
besoins de chauffe, sans incidence sur
l’utilisation.
• Pour obtenir de la vapeur, appuyez sur la
commande vapeur située sous la
poignée du fer - fig.11. La vapeur
s’arrête en relâchant la commande.
• Si vous utilisez de l’amidon, pulvérisez-
le à l’envers de la face à repasser.
Durant la première utilisation, il peut se
produire un dégagement de fumée et
une odeur sans nocivité. Ce phénomène
sans conséquence sur l’utilisation de
l’appareil disparaîtra rapidement.

7 • Défroissez verticalement
• Réglez le bouton de température du fer
sur la position maxi.
• Suspendez le vêtement sur un cintre et
tendez légèrement le tissu d’une main.
• Appuyez sur la commande vapeur -
fig.11 par intermittence en effectuant un
mouvement de haut en bas - fig.12.
Exemples d’utilisation de la fonction
défroissage vertical :
• Défroisser sur cintre les tissus délicats
que vous ne souhaitez pas mettre en
contact avec le fer chaud.
• Rafraichir une chemise ou un costume
juste avant de le porter.
8 • Repassez à sec
• N’appuyez pas sur la commande vapeur.
9 • Remplissez à nouveau
le réservoir
• Vous n’avez plus de vapeur et le voyant
“réservoir vide” clignote - fig.13 :le
réservoir d’eau est vide.
• Retirez le réservoir d’eau amovible à
l’aide de la poignée (située à l’avant de
la centrale vapeur) - fig.14 et remplissez-
le - fig.5 sans dépasser le niveau Max.
• Remettez-le bien à fond dans son
logement jusqu’au “clic”. Appuyez sur la
touche Restart de redémarrage située
sur le tableau de bord, le voyant rouge
s'éteint.
• La centrale vapeur et le fer sont prêts à
repasser quand le voyant vapeur est
allumé et le voyant du fer éteint.
10 • Rangez la centrale
vapeur
• Eteignez l’interrupteur marche/arrêt et
débranchez la prise. Posez le fer sur la
plaque repose-fer de la centrale vapeur.
Rabattez l’arceau de maintien sur le fer
jusqu’au « clic » de verrouillage, votre
fer sera ainsi bloqué en toute sécurité
sur son boitier (selon modèle) - fig 1.
Saisissez le cordon, pliez-le en deux.
Rangez le cordon vapeur dans son
logement. Enroulez le cordon électrique
et attachez le à l’aide du velcro.
• Laissez refroidir la centrale vapeur au
moins une heure avant de la ranger si
vous devez la stocker dans un placard ou
un espace étroit. Vous pouvez ranger
votre centrale vapeur en toute sécurité.
Recommandation : Lors de la première
utilisation ou si vous n’avez pas utilisé
la vapeur depuis quelques minutes,
appuyez plusieurs fois de suite sur la
commande vapeur - fig 11 en dehors de
votre linge. Cela permettra d’éliminer
l’eau froide du circuit de vapeur.
Réglage de la température du fer :
votre fer chauffe vite, commencez
d’abord par les tissus qui se repassent
à basse température, puis terminez
par ceux qui demandent une
température plus élevée. Si vous
repassez des tissus en fibres
mélangées, réglez la température de
repassage sur la fibre la plus fragile. Si
vous souhaitez utiliser la vapeur sur
les tissus délicats (•), actionnez très
modérément la commande vapeur
pour éviter des coulures éventuelles.
Si vous mettez votre commande
thermostat sur « Min », votre fer ne
chauffe pas.
Pendant les pauses de repassage, ne
posez jamais le fer sur un repose-fer
métallique, ce qui pourrait l’abîmer
mais plutôt sur la plaque repose-fer
du boîtier : elle est équipée de patins
anti-dérapants et a été conçue pour
résister à des températures élevées.
La vapeur produite étant très
chaude, ne défroissez jamais un
vêtement sur une personne, mais
toujours sur un cintre. Pour les tissus
autres que le lin ou le coton,
maintenez le fer à quelques
centimètres afin de ne pas brûler le
tissu.
En cas de débordement, éliminez le
surplus.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
11 • Nettoyez la centrale
vapeur
• La semelle : nettoyez la semelle refroidie
de votre fer avec un chiffon humide ou
une éponge non abrasive.
• Le boîtier : nettoyez de temps en temps
les parties plastiques de l’appareil à
l’aide d’un chiffon doux.
12 • Détartrez facilement
votre centrale vapeur
Modèles avec collecteur de tartre
• Pour prolonger la durée de vie de votre
centrale vapeur et éviter les rejets de
tartre, votre centrale vapeur est équipée
d’un collecteur de tartre intégré. Ce
collecteur, placé dans la chaudière,
récupère automatiquement le tartre qui
se forme à l’intérieur.
Principe de fontionnement :
• Un voyant orange “Calc-Away System”
clignote - fig.15 sur le tableau de bord
pour vous indiquer qu’il faut rincer le
collecteur.
• Une fois la centrale vapeur
complètement
refroidie, retirer le cache
collecteur de tartre - fig.16.
• Dévissez complètement le collecteur et
retirez-le du boîtier, il contient le tartre
accumulé dans la chaudière - fig.17.
• Pour bien nettoyer le collecteur il suffit
de le rincer à l’eau courante pour
éliminer le tartre qu’il contient - fig.18.
• Remettez le collecteur dans son
logement en le revissant complètement,
pour assurer l’étanchéité - fig.19.
• Remettez le cache collecteur de tartre en
place - fig.20.
En complément de cet entretien régulier,
il est recommandé de procéder à un
rinçage complet de la chaudière tous les 6
mois ou toutes les 25 utilisations.
• Vérifiez que la centrale vapeur est froide
et débranchée depuis plus de 2H.
• Placez la centrale vapeur sur le bord de
votre évier et le fer à côté sur son talon.
• Retirez le cache collecteur et dévissez le
collecteur de tartre - fig.16-17.
• Maintenez votre centrale vapeur en
position inclinée et avec une carafe,
remplissez la chaudière d’1/4 de litre
d’eau du robinet - fig.24.
• Remuez le boîtier quelques instants puis
videz-le complètement au dessus de
votre évier - fig.25-26.
• Remettez le collecteur dans son
logement en le revissant complètement
pour assurer l’étanchéité - fig.19.
• Remettez le cache collecteur de tartre en
place - fig.20.
Ne passez jamais le fer ou le boîtier
sous l’eau du robinet.
N’utilisez aucun produit d’entretien
ou de détartrage pour nettoyer la
semelle ou le boîtier.
N‘introduisez pas de produits
détartrants (vinaigre, détartants
industriels...) pour rincer la chaudière :
ils pourraient l’endommager.
Avant de procéder à la vidange de
votre centrale vapeur, il est impératif
de la laisser refroidir pendant plus de
2 heures, pour éviter tout risque de
brûlure.
ATTENTION ! Cette opération ne doit
pas être effectuée tant que la centrale
vapeur n’est pas débranchée depuis
plus de deux heures et n’est pas
complètement froide.
Pour effectuer cette opération, la
centrale vapeur doit se trouver près
d’un évier car de l’eau peut couler de
la chaudière lors de l’ouverture.
Lors de la prochaine utilisation
appuyez sur la touche “Restart”
située sur le tableau de bord pour
éteindre le voyant orange “Calc-
Away System”.
